“Very solid pizza, got a one topping pepperoni. The sauce was tangy and sweet but not overpowering, and the crust (most important part in my opinion) was crispy at the bottom but still with a little chew, the best texture for pizza. With all of these chains selling mediocre pizza I’m glad there are still local spots that sell quality product. Price was good too. Will definitely be coming back here. Great pizza.“
“Little Ceasars pizza, when you want some pizza that doesn't taste like it was in the freezer and you don't have 30 minutes or more to wait for a pie. Price is about the same as frozen without the freezer burn taste.Parking: There's a Starbucks and a 99 cent store among other businesses, so the parking lot can get full but not usually.Wheelchair accessibility: It's California, so, it's the law wheelchairs got access. It's not a dine in spot anyway.“
“Magnificent, fabulous, the most delicious sexiest pizza I’ve ever had.The service is beyond! Their soft serve is to die for. And the vibes are so cute! Will be breaking up with little coyote! Also forgot to take a photo because it was sooo good!“
“Awesome pizza, good vibe. Love supporting a well run local family run business. The owner is passionate about the stuff he makes and is there working, firing up the pizzas in the oven. Really enjoyed talking to him while sitting at the bar.“
“I’ve been here 5+ times now and it is my my favorite Napoli-style pizza in HB. Hands down. It’s light, well balanced and sooo tasty.Unlike many other pizzas that are super loaded and greasy, this is the opposite.Quality ingredients you can ACTUALLY TASTE!Service has been outstanding every time I’ve gone. The one time my order ran late (a take out pizza) due to a weekend dinner rush and a wood fire over naturally taking longer, they gifted me a free second pie for having waited for merely 20 mins.Super delicious, quality and kind service. What more can you ask for? ?♂️And YES, it is cash only, but trust me when I say that if that’s the reason you’re not going, you’re a fool. $3 charge on the ATM they have inside will make no difference to your experience, and you will come away thanking me.Please keep up the great work!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp directly in the front“
“The staff here make you feel incredibly welcomed and are all extremely kind and helpful. A lovely woman helped me over the phone and didn't get frustrated with me over deciding what toppings I wanted. And once we arrived there , it felt like I had just walked into someone's home. It's a nice warm feeling type of restaurant that makes you feel like you're at home with family. The Large pizza we ordered is In my opinion, my favorite pizza yet. The ingredients taste fresh and light. I usually get super bloated after eating pizza but not this time. It was just incredibly delicious and I would totally come back here anytime.“
“Placed ordered pepperoni pizza with red onions and mushrooms 3 stars for mushrooms believe they're canned. Pizza has the right amount of grease, this pizza reminds me of Italy pizza at farmers market. The green salad amazing tons of veggies and nuts and queso. Great customer service. El primo ya c puede casar.“
“Mango Habanero Pizza - secret menu pizza, bacon, ham, jalapeno, pineapple, mango habanero sauce on top afterwards. Got the XL and it was big,18" (their giant is 28"). Crust was made on the thinner side in a good way. Sweet and spicy good Hawaiian pizza that reminds me of Wingstop's mango habanero wings.“
“One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Long Beach.Every bite takes me back to Italy. ?Carbonara and Romana Pizza it’s my favorite.Great service and Great staff. Expect to wait if you’re having dining in on a weekend.Worth the wait!“
“In the summer of 1975, I was only 14, and already a "Busboy extraordinaire"! My family had just moved from East Los Angeles to Monterey Park, and I started working at the best Italian restaurant on the planet, 'Agostino's'. At first, I thought all the beautiful girls were coming in to see me clear dirty dishes off of dirty tables. I later learned it had something to do with the food. And something to do with the restaurants' proximity to Mark Keppel High School. On top of all that. it was Great pizza at an affordable price. I stayed there charming the clientele for about three years. I met members of the M.P. Police, council members, Mayors, and others. I saw my classmates come in with their families, on dates, and in the banquet room after every major school dance. It was a place where you could go have pizza with friends, and not be embarrassed to run into your parents having a nice dinner. It was the hub of all social life in the San Gabriel Valley. I left the restaurant for college in 1978. In 1980, Agostino ("Gus") and Alicia sold the restaurant and went back to Sicily. I hadn't seen them in almost 50 years. A half century! Well, my fellow Monterey Parklandians (is that even a word?), this past weekend my wife says to me: "Remember your wish to step into 1975 and smell the food at Agostino's again"? She then drove me to this small Italian restaurant in the community of Paramount. Inside ..... were Gus & Alicia. The original owners who gave me my first real job so many years ago. The food was as good OR better than I remembered. Just as fresh too. My wife and I split an antipasto salad, a lasagna, and a pizza. Alicia came over to sit with us, we traded hugs & stories. Alicia is as warm and delightful as I remembered her. We didn't spend too much time with Gus, he was busy. Although I believe Gus is still jealous, because Alicia thinks I'm too handsome. It's a mystery. If you lived in the MP/Alhambra area for any amount of time, you surely enjoyed the authentic Sicilian food from Agostino's. And you'll truly enjoy Gus & Alicia's "Cafe Corleone". I know we'll be going back. CAFE CORLEONE 15337 Paramount Blvd, Paramount, CA (562) 408-6100. Dine-in/Takeout / Delivery“
“As their place is on the smaller size, we opted to do carry out since we were going for a saturday dinner. It wasn't a long wait and we reheated in the oven as soon as we got home. We got both Thai Curry and Tom Yum and both were SO good. Would totally come back for this again!“
“The matador was spicier than expected, but super delicious, my husband is not vegan and confirms that its not just good for vegan pizza its delicious for pizza in general. When we realized how spicy it was the 10 year old with us was taken aback and we were fully prepared to go take him to eat elsewhere, but I believe it was the owner came out with a pizza that had been a mistake pizza for him and he LOVED it. Best food and service we could have ever asked for! The 10 year old is also FAR from vegan and was raving about it, plus he loved the free kazoo, although I did have to ask him to stop due to trying to maintain the very relaxed ambiance.“
“Cortinas was amazing, today was my first visit for lunch. I had the Pastrami Sandwich. The guests around me were really enjoying their sandwiches as well. At opening time, 11 AM, the line had about 8 parties waiting to get in and order.I was really delighted as everyone else. I'll go back with the family.“
“This humble takeout eatery serves more authentic Turkish coffee than any Mediterranean restaurants I've found in SoCal. The coffee so thick it looks like mud at the bottom of your cup---PERFECTIONThe establishment has a talent for making bread. The crust of our pizza was soft and chewy on the inside while light and crispy on the outside. That said, the Hawaiian pizza was topped with canned pineapple (making it overly sweet) while the accompanied ham seemed to have been packaged meat and, therefore, a bit underwhelming in taste. Even so, the crust was sovery good that I'm willing to come back to try other pizzas on the menu“
“Forn Al Hara has been a delightful experience. The fusion of cheese, meat, za’atar and sujuk in their pies creates a harmonious blend of flavors that tantalize the taste buds and send me back to Egypt. The crust is flaky, and the fillings are generously packed, offering a satisfying combination of textures. The unique selection of savory pies distinguishes this place, making it a savory haven for those craving a Mediterranean style pies.“
“Hadn't had a cheese stuffed crust pizza in a very long time and I was definitely not disappointed. Pizza was very good. Tripple bacon and 3 different kinds at that. Also tried the wings a little small in size but the flavors they have are pretty good. Definitely coming “
“I've heard about Little Coyote for a while, and I wanted to give them a try. I ordered their Italian sub sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. The meat portions were very generous, and with their seasoning, put it over the top. $15 plus tax, it was worth it (made two meals out of it). I'll be returning to explore more of their menu.“
“If you happen to find yourself in the Bixby area of Long Beach around lunchtime, do yourself a favor and stop by the southwest corner of Carson and Atlantic to Thunderbolt Pizza. One of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. I had the Hellfire sub and loved it. They bake the bread to order and cram it full with so much flavor that you'll savor it to the last bite. Capicola, spicy soprasetta, pepperoni, arugula, ricotta, chopped cherry peppers, spicy mayo.“
“Great for take out. Don't in it's also available but there's only a couple tables. Food's great though.Vegetarian options: No meat pizzas, garlic bread, pasta, saladsDietary restrictions: Keto PizzaParking: Shopping center isn't too busy, parking is ok. There's a much bigger parking lot somewhat attached.“
“Bruh the pizza broke da mouth Yo! Was in HB for a Lacrosse tournament and stopped at this place for lunch....and maybe a couple beers. Just gonna say the pizza crust was next level & different than any other pizza I have ever tasted - sourdough was at its base - being glüten sensitive and loving pizza in my heart this was the perfect place for ME. The Ricotta appetizer is off the hook - the Pineapple Express pizza was bomb - the blonde ale was on point! Absolutely appreciate the waiter - the attentiveness - the restaurant, tables, and atmosphere was absolutely awesome LOvE this restaurant and will Fo Sho be back again - maybe tomorrow..... Thanks Beechwood! You delivered the FULL package experience #loveit #brokedamouth #beersplease #bestpizzaever“
“Staff was incredible! Pizza was ?! Garlic knots were ok (but the pesto and marinara were amazing!) Drinks were flowing! Vibes were immaculate! Live music started at 6pm. Great happy hour prices Tues-Thurs (I will be back!) Small parking lot but lots of nearby street parking. They also have stickers and pins (my fav) for sale, as well as mugs, t-shirts and more. What you MUST try is the house made root beer. OMG it was so good! Must go and MUST try!“
“Amazing Bingsoo! I've been dying to try this place and it did not disappoint! The owner was very sweet and cheerful! The bingsoo itself *chefs kiss* this has to be one of my new favorite dessert places! Please come try this, you won't regret it! Also side note, the actual location is inside of the market just go inside and you'll find it!“
“We first dined here in the mid 2000's, the place was a bit small then, when I tasted the sauce (meat sauce/spaghetti), I was shocked to see it literally tasted just like our family's sauce that my mom had taught me to make (we are Italian of course), the food was so good, and I got to meet the original owner and chef, he spoke very broken English, but we discovered we were from the same part of Italy thus, the sauce! After that, we ordered one of their humungous pizzas for a party and it was so awesome! We moved away in 2004, but then I began working in the area in 2018 and went in to find his sons had taken over, and they had expanded by renting the unit next door! I told his son I used to eat there 15 years ago, and he welcomed me back, the pizza was just as great as I remembered, I have since taken friends there and the food is always the very best as well as the service, if I could give this restaurant 25 stars I would.Parking: Located in a strip mall next to a grocery store, but there is always tons of parking.“
“If you want dank pizza near the beach come here! Legit since i had my first slice there omg my mouth needed rehab from this place! ??The cheese ? on the pizza just melts with all the juices of AMAZING in your mouth!!! Yeah get a nice slice here! ???“
“Came to visit last night. The pizza was delicious, perfect! My companion enjoyed the beer. It was karaoke night and the place had a very welcome, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a great neighborhood spot where you feel comfortable, have good food, good beer, a good time and leave satisfied. The man who runs this place is a good support to his community. Thank You!“
“Fun for kids because of games and prizes, I had a salad bar which was really fresh and good we split the Mojo Potatoes which I love. My bf got the chicken and he liked it. Many beers to choose from. Long wait to order only 1 cashier though 5 people working on the pizza side were talking and laughing and they could of helped out.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“I host a dinner for 17 And was extremely happy with the food and how well we were taking care of. Leonard and his team did an outstanding job. Even though we ordered off the menu all at the same time our food arrived promptly. The last person was served only a few minutes after the first person. Ricci's has been of one of her favourite Italian restaurants for many years. Their prices saw both food and wine are very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the back.“
“Great little pizza spot. We had a full pizza that was half pepperoni and half cheese, a slice of white, the classic Italian sub and the antipasto salad.I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get the pizza again, but if it were in my own neighborhood I would probably eat there all the time. The sandwich and salad were both huge.Great little patio space.“
“Excellent Pizza. Th pesto veggie pizza was delicious. Generous with artichoke hearts, onion, tomatoes and olives. The Italian flavor was perfect. We took the pizza to go and enjoyed it sitting on a bench looking at the ocean. Recommend strongly supporting this small business,“
“The Best Pizza in Town with Delicious WingsBig Rob's Pizzeria has become my go-to spot for pizza in town, and for good reason. Their pizzas are consistently delicious, with the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings on a crispy crust. Every bite is a delight, and I always find myself satisfied after enjoying a meal here.In addition to their fantastic pizza, Big Rob's also serves up some of the best wings in town. Whether you prefer them spicy or mild, their wings are always cooked to perfection and never fail to impress. The service at Big Rob's Pizzeria is also worth mentioning. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure that every customer feels welcome and well taken care of.“
“Great food and dining experience. This ain't your old Papalucci's. We started with the Margarita pizza (perfection), Caesar salad, main course and finished with the crème brûlée (delicious). My wife and I will definitely be back. We splurged tonight since it was our first experience there but looking forward to trying other items.“
“Excellent food and service. We don't usually drive this far for restaurants but any time we're in the neighborhood this is a must stop. Oxtail ragout gnocchi is outstanding. Especially appreciated that chef Giuseppe insisted on replacing our pasta bolognese when I asked for more sauce. The pride he shows in his work is very much appreciated. Be sure to check out the chalk board daily specials. During covid lock down we came often to take his specials home. Well worth the trip.Parking: Parking structure across the street is reasonably priced“
“When I tell you me and my family came here to eat on Friday the 2nd of February 2024 and the food was amazing the service was perfect ?! It gave me a good home feeling like my grandparents house or something similar. The Italian Soda was tasty ?. I had the chicken Alfredo fettuccine, which was amazing creamy and well seasoned. Me and my family will definitely be back. Thank Rufinos?? ?“
“I am a very picky person when I comes to pizza. We had a pepperoni, feta cheese and onion pizza. It was hot, and delicious. The wings were hot as well. Very yummy. Drove there for other reasons in the area and glad we stopped in. I'd be willing to make the drive from Riverside any time. We'll worth the trip for quality food.“
“Absolutely divine pizza. Six decades of pizza eating and this is top 2. In Long Beach it's #1. Fresh dough is evident by the hint of flour on the bottom of the crust from the first bite. Sausage is incredibly flavorful and the quality cheese and sause make eating this the next day wonderful, no microwave needed. Antipasto salad was large and full of meat olives and cheese. The delivery is fast, everything arriving hot and fresh. If you're in Long Beach you have to try this place. ✨✨✨✨✨“
“This is my wife and I first time coming to this pizzeria ordered a large Meatlovers pizza with a side of Potato Wedges comes with ranch. The total was about $30 and wait time is 20mins but it was worth it since the pizza was not heavy or greasy at all and the dough/crust was delicious compared to big named companies! Would definitely recommend! The employees or owners are super nice. Ordered around 10ish pm.“
“Marri's has been an institution in Long Beach for as long as I can remember. The "graffiti wall" is legendary, and I have memories of eating there a few times as a child. I was "reintroduced" to Marri's when a good friend reminded me of them nearly 30 years ago and my wife and I have been regulars ever since. The staff is always friendly, the portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable. My wife, and several of our friends have sampled various pasta dishes, and we don't know if they're "authentic", but they're definitely amazong. As a lifelong TMMT fan, I've always been into pizza, and while I'll eat most any pizza -except those Mama Celeste ones made of paper plates and garbage - there are definitely tiers. If Pizza Hut is the equivalent of McDonalds, then Marri's is the pizza equivalent of Ruth's Chris without the price tag, or pretension. The dough isn't a cracker, or Brooklyn thin, but neither is it deep dish thick. A solid "hand-tossed" base that's just flavorful enough without being too much. Where a lotpizza is better the next day because the sauce has had time to age - Marri's sauce is perfect right out of the oven. They're toppings are fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. And, finally, they're marinara is thick, gooey, and generously heaped on top - if you're not an I like some pizza with my cheese person, like me, you won't need to worry about adding extra like you do in most places just to get adequate coverage. If you live in Long Beach, or are just visiting, and you've never been, do yourself a favor - Go see Shelly and Julio for a slice, or 12. And, if you have been there - IKYK ?“
“I have been passing by this spot for the past 4 years and have always wanted to try it. I finally gave it a shot and am glad I did.I got a small cheese steak sub with no tomatoes, it was delicious. I especially liked the bread, it had a great taste and nice soft crunch. I also got myself a small potato chip bag. The total came out to $9 and some change (pricing as of Nov 2023). The customer service was pretty good too, they were happy to answer my questions. I got my sandwich in like 3 minutes, very quick service. There were a few groups eating in, and no line when I arrived although a few customers did arrive after I placed my order. This was on a Friday around noon, so not too busy.I’ll definitely be coming back.“
“Outstanding! I'm originally from the east coast. This is the closest to New York style I've had. The service is great. The guys are great. Very limited seating. They also offer pizza by the slice and other things. Our favorite pizza parlor. Short distance to the pier and many other shops nearby.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.“
“Been coming here for some time and I've always been so pleased with the service. Sandy, Cassie, and Julia are all wonderful to be around and clearly genuinely care about their patrons. The kitchen has yet to let me down, and the prices are fair. It helps that they will play sports on their TVs, and the beer is always cold and refreshing. If you haven't yet - check out the Mac n cheese bites and the soft pretzel. Great shareables for the table. And don't overlook the chopped cheese - incredible sandwich. Love it here!“
“We always get Porky's Pizza when we get the craving for pizza. It's close so we can drive over to pick it up, though they do deliver, and they always have a pretty good pizza whether we order pepperoni, bbq chicken, or vegetarian. We usually get garlic knots as well as an antipasti salad to go with it. A quick and easy dinner.“
“AWESOME PIZZA!!!I'm blown away by the quality of your pizza. I ordered the Medium Veggie and boy was I blown away by the quality of the pizza. To start with the dough is hand spun, making it nice and fluffy but not doughy like many others. Crust and undercarriage was crispy not greasy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Plenty of vegetables and perfectly balanced cheese. If you are looking for a great pizza this is definitely the place. I am a tough person to satisfy when it comes to pizza but this place gets two thumbs up! I'll definitely be back. Also the service is friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so many small pizza places are dissappearing because people settle for cheap, disgusting pizza. I am happy to discover this place! Keep up the great job! Good luck!“
“Only had the food once it was pizza at a music venue, can't complain. Service was music venue Service, cant really complain. I've been to 15+ shows here, always great. I think in the last 5 or so years, someone came in to change the sound system, and it only got better. 8.8 out of 10 for me.“
“I do not know you, have never ate their.I read on the news your kindness in helping an elderly woman being attacked and robbed. You were badly hurt trying to help a stranger. I wish we had more people like you!!Get well soon, and God Bless.Floyd“
“I love their pizza here when they get it right, being consistent when people are spending their hard earned money is critical. Nice looking place with beautiful hanging lights. However, when the cats away, the mice will play. ? Staff can be a HUGE flip flop. Some are sweet, others if owners not around can be not so nice. And the thing is people actually care how they are treated or others around them. So room for improvement. Hope the info. Helps.“
“Such a great, welcoming environment!! We were so well taken care of from the second we walked in until we left. Zandra took care of our drinks and food order and was so efficient. So quick to refill our drinks and was so sweet the entire time! She overheard us talking about hot sauce and was sweet enough to bring her OWN personal bottle over for us! Can't recommend this place enough, and that's coming from a manager of a brewery myself. Definitely check these guys out! (Also great beer!!!!)“
“1st time visitJoined several friends for lunchCleanWell litFriendly staffDine in/Take outGreat location for meeting friends and/or families with or without childrenPlenty of seatingAmple parkingWide selection of menu itemsOrdered Bunch of LunchGood valueRecommend locationParking: Parking available next and North of building“
“I just came back from Chicago a week ago, and this pizza is exactly like Chicago style pizza! Their pizza crust is crispy and has such a good flavor, their marinara sauce is very thick and rich as well. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEIR WINGSSS, THE BEST IVE EVER HAD If your craving authentic Chicago style pizza, this is the place to go!! (Service was amazing as well!)“
“Just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The person whom delivered also took the time to explain details of not shutting the box completely closed because in doing so, it’ll soften the pizza crust and he was right. It was served hot and fresh. Will definitely order from this place “
“I ordered the Calzone. I have been trying calzones from various places and this one, from Valentino's in Hawaiian Gardens, is at the top of my favorites. The shop's owner made it, and I could sense the passion as he made it. The secret is in the sauce. Phillip (the owner) was explaining how important the sauce was. He mentioned that the NEW sauce is a rejuvenation of the shop's original, original, original recipe. Go try it AGAIN because it is better than the contemporary sauce recipe. Thanks for the delicious calzone, Phillip.“
