“On wednesday, I went to this Subway. I was really hungry, and my mood had been terrible since morning- I had fought with everyone. When I got there, I met Mr. Ravi, an Indian guy. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. I was already angry, but he handled the situation so calmly and respectfully that he actually made me laugh in the end. His service was so good that it genuinely made me want to leave a review, because he was completely right from his side. I truly salute that kind of customer service.“

“what a place. walked in and was greeted with a smile and a hello. I was already loving this place for the ambiance and hospitality. The chef customized my sandwich to my liking with no hesitation. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. I had the hot pastrami sandwich, and it was spot on! Warm, flavorful, and piled just right without being messy. Came with chips and a drink for $10, which is a great deal these days for a full lunch.

“Growing up outside Philadelphia, I’m always on the hunt for authentic Philly cheese steaks. John’s has excellent cheese steaks and has been a Huntington Beach favorite for decades. The bread is amazing and baked locally which is a key ingredient to simply amazing sandwiches! They stuff a lot of meat and cheese and peppers and onions in there, and the result makes ya wanna shout, “Go Birds!” Someone will probably shout it back, too. If you like cheese steaks, yeah, get em the way ya like them at John’s!“

“I knew about this place since it opened back in the late 2010s with the 1st owner. This is 2nd owner that took over couple yrs back. Still carry out the same menu and same foods and quality. Prices are still decent and affordable. They known for sandwiches or banh mi and egg rolls but they do have other dishes too. The owner, she is nice and friendly and very helpful. Sometime she is the only one in the store with several customers so wait can be awhile but the foods are good. The place is clean and plenty of parking spaces. They do have to go ready packed and plenty of drinks. Overall nice place for good foods with good services. They do have tables & chairs inside and outside if you decided to dine in.“

“Came here to pick up some pastries from too good to go, ended up leaving with a hefty box of pastries and AN AMAZING TURKEY SANDWICH!!! The bread was wonderfully toasted, the tomato was juicy, and all of the ingredients went together perfectly. Nice sized sandwich hollowed out bread wrapped nicely. It’s a small shop plan on 10 min visit. About 9$ a sandwich. They greeted me took my order right away.“

“I would order online here often. I like them. However; earlier in the year I ordered for the wrong day and they could not see the order. I called and called and called the next day it was supposed to be for to get a refund but they still couldn't see my order. I'm not sure why. They should be able to see all the orders placed for the day as soon as they open. I lost out of $9+“

“It’s like an Oasis in an industrial desert; serving affordable large deli sandwiches, soups,chips and cookies.

Took a family adventure on the bus today to take my son to his ABA therapy and on our way back my younger daughter needed a bathroom.

To our luck it was a little after 2:40 and the sandwich box was open until 3:00pm and right next to our bus stop.

So we stopped in for the bathroom and I noticed they have a robust menu and a very clean kitchen and dining room.

The prices are affordable and the sandwiches are large.
Both of my Daughters filled up on half a sandwich each. My youngest daughter says she gives it 10 stars and wants to come back for some soup.“

“I have loved this place for years!! I used to work near by and came all the time for lunch... its the only thing I miss about that job. Whenever I am near by, I make sure to get a salmon sandwich with mushrooms and onions added😋

I now work on the road and was passing by during lunch today, so I called in a take out order. When I got to the restaurant, I realized I had left my wallet in my other bag! I explained and told the boss that I couldn't pay, but he let me take the sandwich! I left my name and phone number, and called back later and he was able to take my info over the phone.

10/10 food AND service. They already had me hooked with the food. But the service has made me a loyal customer for life. I HIGHLY recommend.“
