This sandwich shop is a gem in Long Beach. Its sandwiches are unique and delicious. It was my first time and I took the recommendation of the very nice woman at the counter. (Possibly the owner. I should have asked) The sandwich was rich and buttery, delicious and served on a pretzel roll. Perfect lunch time item just large enough to fill you up without pushing you over the limit. I highly recommend stopping by.
Best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had! The music playing was great, the lady behind the counter was super friendly and funny and they also have excellent merch - bought myself a T-Shirt. 10/10 for everything :)

LA 'CROQUE is a wonderful little spot and a small, local business. It is an outstanding and friendly, clean spot with super high vibes. The sandwiches are AMAZING, super delicious, and the best, using fresh, quality ingredients. Specific offerings include the Waldorf Salad sandwich on a croissant, the California vegan, the Wild Alaskan smoked salmon on a cheddar and jalapeño bagel with creamy chive smear, and the capretzel sandwich on a big, soft pretzel roll. They also have amazing baked goods and desserts, like the triple chocolate cookie, though some pastries can be slightly overdone. The service is great, but the hours are very limited.
