“Best food ever! No atmosphere, long lines(for a reason) but the best hot sandwiches in town.
When we find ourselves hungry in San Pedro we go to Busy Bee and get a sandwich and drive down to the waterfront and eat in the car as ships and boats go by.
If you aren't a big eater, you may think of splitting one with someone else.“

“I grew up in San Pedro 60 years ago and returned recently. I went to Pirozzi's based on its reviews and I was not disappointed. The Italian sandwich was delicious and brought back so many good memories of when I was a kid, eating the best Italian food. The employees were very polite and the price was reasonable for the great food they serve. I highly recommend this place.“

“I love this place!!!! I moved away 2 yrs ago & miss the food here. Everything I've ever eaten was always better than expected, from the burgers to all of the many sandwiches, to the garlic fetta fries, to the breakfasts, including banana nut french toast. The food & the service is just fantastic. I saw a review with some lady complaining about her sandwich, I just don't believe that. I've had so many different items & loved every single one. Oh, the oatmeal is fire too, I can't find better tasting oatmeal anywhere. Gonna have to drive that 2 hrs soon.“

“Absolutely fantastic sandwiches, close to the beach. I just came back from there and had to write this review. You can tell these guys put thought into their seasoning so that each sandwich has a little extra that takes it above the typical (we got the tuna and the veggie). The sandwiches are heated-and-pressed, but not made with regular panini bread. Instead the bread is a perfect choice of flaky/crispy outside, with an airy middle that provides volume without being too thick. A perfect compliment to the unexpectedly complex flavors of the sandwich. These sandwiches look unassuming but they are clearly made by foodies. And as a bonus, they deliver the sandwich to you down a long wooden slide. Awesome service!
It's located in a beachy-vibes convenience store, where you can also pick up liquor, a good selection of craft beers, and beach gear for nearby Cabrillo.“
