“Really good deli. My wife and I had a couple of pastrami sandwiches. I had mine cold and hers was made hot. They were both excellent. We had a couple of blonde beers at $3 each and were really good also. You order at the counter and they bring everything to you which happened very quickly. You can grab some pickles which are off to the side if wanted. The restaurant was really clean and I noticed they clean the tables really quickly once vacated. Everyone very friendly.“

“Growing up outside Philadelphia, I’m always on the hunt for authentic Philly cheese steaks. John’s has excellent cheese steaks and has been a Huntington Beach favorite for decades. The bread is amazing and baked locally which is a key ingredient to simply amazing sandwiches! They stuff a lot of meat and cheese and peppers and onions in there, and the result makes ya wanna shout, “Go Birds!” Someone will probably shout it back, too. If you like cheese steaks, yeah, get em the way ya like them at John’s!“

“It’s like an Oasis in an industrial desert; serving affordable large deli sandwiches, soups,chips and cookies.

Took a family adventure on the bus today to take my son to his ABA therapy and on our way back my younger daughter needed a bathroom.

To our luck it was a little after 2:40 and the sandwich box was open until 3:00pm and right next to our bus stop.

So we stopped in for the bathroom and I noticed they have a robust menu and a very clean kitchen and dining room.

The prices are affordable and the sandwiches are large.
Both of my Daughters filled up on half a sandwich each. My youngest daughter says she gives it 10 stars and wants to come back for some soup.“

“Wow! I was shocked at how delicious and perfect the sandwich was! My daughter and I split the Hunter Pence and it was honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread was fresh, warm and had a slight crunch to where I didn’t even need chips. Absolutely fantastic!!“

“I went late in the afternoon. They were short staff and had three people in line in front of me; however, that didn't change the service any. The young man that made our sandwiches seemed to be the only one working at the time. He treated each customer with patience and kindness. I didn't get his name, but in case someone that manages the location sees this, my photo shows time and date from receipt.

“i can't say anything bad about my experience, but the line was slow and not as efficient as other stores. Four employees on the line should be knocking out those orders, seemed like one guy was doing most of the work, while others were not very helpful when orders backed up. Gotta hustle 100%.“
