“What a fantastic new find! Found this place on DoorDash and decided to hop in after seeing some of the pictures. Definitely was not disappointed! Not only was my sandwich incredible and fairly priced, but the owner and staff was super friendly which of course makes me want to go back. “Drove a long way to get here as I couldn’t find a baked potato anywhere else. The mega potato was delicious, although the potato skin wasn’t at all crispy (I prefer baked potatoes with crispy skin). Toppings were good. Steak sandwich had enough meat but was somehow strangely sweet which I very much dislike in savory food. Won’t be ordering that again but would come back for the potatoes if I can’t find a better place. FYI the place is located in a really run down part of town with a lot of homeless people walking around. I wouldn’t bring kids anywhere near here. This is definitely a dive in a seedy area but it’s still worth checking out.“

“Came after recommended by a co-worker. Was looking to a legit Korean food place near my new office in Santa Ana. This is the spot! Got their Bibimbap and it was literally the best I have tasted. My wife who is Korean gets them all the time and I can tell you this place makes the best. I really love how it is family ran and the sweet Korean lady and Korean man work here. I feel like I am in a Korean home. The best part is I got to practice my Korea language with the Korean lady and she chuckled. I hope that was a good sign that I'm learning! Anyway if your in the area please come support this place it will truly be worth it!“
“I went with my mom, we were at Kaiser and needed a quick bite in between labs, and didn't want fast food. The sandwiches were great and we had good service. Plenty of seating and parking. Mom and Pop shop, the decor is odd, but that did not matter to us. Would come here again :)“
“Today I walked into subway I was dripping wet from the rain literally my shirt was drenched and I had my EBT card out ready to pay for the two cups of soup and the nice lady came to ring me up and said " your all wet" I said "I know it's ok" she said let me buy your soup for you ...that was really nice of her to do that ...so thanks again to the lady who works at Subway on Grand and Edinger!! But this time, I hit a different spot. Truth be told, my expectations were lower than a submarine's basement because most of my childhood food crushes haven't aged well. But surprise, surprise - Philly's has stepped up its game. They're serving Boar's Head meat now, a game-changer if you ask me. The place was empty, which had me worried, but I soldiered on and ordered 3 sandwiches - 2 cold cuts, 1 Philly, plus a side of fries and onion rings.And guess what? The pickle bar was still in business! In this post-COVID world, that's a rarity, my friends. These sandwiches were as big as a Jersey Mike's sub, but here's the kicker - the meat actually looked like meat and not melted cheese pretending to be meat, and the bread? It's like they found a time machine to bake it without all the preservatives. Price? Same as the competition. But they threw in fries and onion rings, a welcome change from the usual chips. Oh, and homemade ranch dressing! Why is it that so many places can't crack the code for this simple delight? Whether it's True Foods, Mortons, or even Denny's - they all struggle. Buffalo Wild Wings charges extra for it, but here, they make it from scratch and handed it to me on the house. Talk about a bonus! Maybe I should've made a side salad at home with the extra dressing.The service was as good as it could be. The girl at the counter was a sweet as a button. Zero complaints or suggestions there. I'm glad Philly's Best is still in the game. They've got some killer sandwiches, especially those Philly ones - they speak for themselves. My only concern? Their prices are on par with the big, soulless chains out there, despite serving up a superior product. It's tough to compete in that arena, but here's to hoping they make it. Anyway, the cashier who helped us out was very kind, and friendly, overall great customer service. Food also met our expectations.
