“This location is the only one I go to that they dont have the freshest bread and no spicy mustard. All the locations I go to have spicy brown mustard. Not the associates fault ,but whomever the location owner is.
Idk about the bread ,its never fluffy like the other locations. I cant eat the end peices because of it. I order a giant, but once im done its more like a med because of those peices I have to toss out.“

“We came in last night and had such wonderful service from Ken and Pablo, so we actually were craving Subway again. This time we were met with a different set of employees and were very pleased that we received the same great service as we did last night. Today, Sylvia made our Sandwiches and soup. She was very polite and made our orders perfectly!! It’s quite unusual for me to review a place a second time, and especially this close together, but I just felt led to write this so that management knows they’ve done a heck of a job with these hires! “For some weird reason, despite all the Philly cheesesteak places in California, you rarely see restaurants that offer one of the classic Philadelphia cheese options: good old Cheez Whiz.

I know Cheez Whiz is not for everyone, since it has a very unique flavor and texture compared with something like American or provolone.

Thankfully, Philly’s Best provides that option when you want a Philly cheesesteak, and you can even mix and match multiple cheeses. One thing I like to do is mix provolone with Cheez Whiz for a unique, more Philly-style taste.

Otherwise, I think the cheesesteak is fine in terms of the meat, bread, and cheese combination, but I do not think it tastes as good or as fresh as Jersey Mike’s or several other local places that offer hot Philly cheesesteak sandwiches.

That said, I like going to Philly’s Best when I am specifically looking for that Cheez Whiz taste, and that is honestly the main reason I would recommend going here.“

“I have been going here a few times a week to support them since Dutch Bros have taken over and killed the traffic to the shopping center. They advertise with a banner out front $6.99 on select subs. I usually order the meatball which is a $6.99 with the special and no problems. Today I ordered and paid for it then noticed they charged me over $9 for it!! I asked them before leaving the store why so much and she stated that you have to tell them you want the special!!!“
