“Especially excellent at this Costa Mesa Mendocino Farms location was Emma Krishhansen, Senior Manager. Her welcoming greeting and accommodating manner were so refreshing. She wanted to be certain our order was correct and it was! She seemed to be a great leader because the staff was productive and happy, especially Christian who helped out with our table clean up.“

“I had the GOAT cheese with peach salad. It contained goat cheese, sliced peaches, lettuce, mint, basil, roasted almonds, chicken, pickled onions and a dressing on the side. The salad was perhaps the best salad I have ever had. It was super fresh and all the flavors came through spectacularly. You could taste the mint, the basil and everything else. This is a limited time seasonal item. I highly recommend this one.“

The location is in a very old, small strip mall area, ignore that, and try this shop out.

I really was just expecting a sandwich, but you really won’t know until you go..it's a must-visit. Top-notch service, homemade tuna salad, and they’re quick! “This is an amazing place to eat. The owner is very attentive and sweet. You can truly see she cares about her business and it's ingredients. She makes everything fresh including the mayo nothing is store bought. The sandwiches are appetizing and have a very unique flavor. I didn’t get his name but he was genuinely kind and I super appreciated it. As we walked out, my 6 year old daughter pointed out how “nice that man was”Thank you for spreading positivity in today’s world!“

“Took advantage of the two meal deal, which was very tasty, was filling. The woman who helped us was polite. Good communication skills. Will go back again.
I saw they had bad reviews in the past, but I saw nothing wrong with this place. They must be doing something right because they have been at that location for a long time. Keep up the good work.“

“Super friendly staff. Clean environment. Food was delicious but they sort of skimp on the sandwich toppings. I've been to other locations recently that put more tuna and when tou pay extra for avocado they should put more! I'm not sure why they charge extra for avocado, but if they are going to then they should be a little more generous with it when a 6-in is already costing over $11 you figure you'd get what you want on it without having to pay even more! They used to be my favorite place to eat but since the prices have gone up and the quality has not and the quantity has not I often go elsewhere for lunch. But the staff is great they are fast to serve you and very friendly.“

The staff member who helped me (I believe her name was Maria) went above and beyond to make my sandwich special because I’m very picky. She was friendly and made my husband and I laugh as she joked around and made it a pleasure to serve us. If you’re near this Subway, definitely stop by. I know there’s a lot of Subway locations out there but if you want to find a store where they’ll work hard to make sure that your order is right and you get great service then this is the location for you.“
