“We were seated right away and I really liked how they allowed one of us to do Premium ayce and the other person to do regular ayce, it helped a lot with the flexibility in choosing both of dining experiences but sharing them together. Service was attentive and fast, we waited no more than 10 minutes after putting in our order for another round of food. The nigiri was fantastic, wasabi dots, ponzu and yuzu sauce that goes with the cuts of fish add a lot more to it. Also if you go during lunch time (up to 3pm) the prices are fairly good. Overall would highly recommend, I do wish some of the nigiri didn’t come with the specific sauce, and that the fish could be enjoyed simply without anything added on, still really great quality cuts. Normally I don’t like seared black pepper nigiri but here I loved it, the snow crab was also amazing. You also get a free large vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup if you leave a yelp review, pretty cool. Highly recommend if you love ayce sushi.“

“If I could choose a meal to eat for the rest of my life I would say this is it! I’m from Utah, was in town for a couple of days and I always crave Hibachi. Utahs food is boring, bland and flavorless. Found this spot as I was rolling through Long Beach and decided to stop. The lady at the counter was super nice and welcoming! My order was done pretty quick and did not have to wait long. She offered to open my bottles Coke as well. The food was awesome and flavorful! “Had the katsu curry done as well as the tempura udon here. The katsu curry was super tender, juicy, and very well made. The tempura udon was just okay -- there were a lot of ingredients, but something lacking in the overall flavor. But this place is super affordable, the food is good to excellent, and the service extremely efficient.“

“I ordered the beef teriyaki plate. It was ok. I also ordered the strawberry lemonade drink, but it did not taste organic. The strawberry lemonade tasted ok, not bad, but most likely, it has an artificial flavor to it. I noticed that when I came inside, the worker cleaning was nice and cool. I also noticed I almost sneezed inside, and I went outside to sneeze, and I couldn't sneeze. When I came inside, I saw the cashier sneeze ?. I just hope they are not sneezing a lot inside when they are close to the food and hope they are washing their hands every time. I got to my car with my food and drink and I ate a little bit then I sneezed. ??‍♂️?. The food was ok. But I do not know what made me sneeze or the cashier sneeze. I am feeling ok right now, though. I appreciate the service here.“

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“The main point here is that the prices are low (by today’s standards), you get a large portion and it tastes pretty good. Don’t expect a cozy experience. Service is bare min and the waiting area contains zero comfort architecture. The chicken teriyaki plate is eight bucks and feeds two, unless you’re an overeater like me ;)

Green tea is steep yourself in suoer hot water for the right depth of tea, and truly great flavor. Sushi (spicy tuna) was delish. So glad I took my car in for servicing down the street and needed a lunch place while I waited!“

Service is quite fast and the owner is extremely welcoming to customers. Try these yummy dumplings filled with Seasoned Chicken, Pepper Jack Cheese-filled dumplings, battered and crusted with corn flakes.
