Japanese comfort food at it's best, with plenty of tasty protein with carb options... Very well run operation, super clean and wonderful staff... The owner is a pastor, and an honest warm person... Highly recommend that you try this spot in Long Beach, I had the spicy chicken rice bowl...
Navin, the owner, is such a kind and incredible person! The food is also INCREDIBLE. He makes everything fresh. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the broth is amazing. There’s also a cute patio to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.
Navin is the best. Polite. Attentive. The food is delicious.

Their menu includes delicious options like Katsu Curry, gyoza, chicken katsu curry, and yaki udon, all made with high-quality ingredients. The portions are filling, and the service is excellent, with friendly hosts happy to explain menu options and make recommendations. This self-service cafe offers a cozy atmosphere and great value, especially in the downtown area. Customers have praised the tender and juicy Katsu Curry, noting it is super well made. The food is good to excellent, and the staff is efficient and friendly, often going out of their way to ensure a positive experience, such as offering free shrimp tempura during rice shortages.
