My boyfriend loves this place, but I find it a bit childish. It's mostly a place where young people, binge drinkers, and alcoholics convene for a good time. The DJ is usually pretty good on the weekends, and service is always great. They do not have a very good selection of alcohol, the wine is cheap wine, and they hardly have any top shelf alcohol. Everyone is so nice .. I ordered steak nachos and they were yummy. I'm here solo and felt so comfortable, no one was weird. Very nice spot to come check out! It's a vibe (: clean as well but the service was what really made me want to leave this review. I had a bad experience before coming here at the "r bar" ... I waited 15 minutes with no service.. they(Shannon's) really turned it around

I had wonderful time there at Shannon’s On Pine. Everyone who works there are very friendly and service excellent. I was there for a special event with KLBP and The Long Beach Blues Society. All the musicians who played outside in the outdoor eating area were there for The International Day of Music .
