“I was having serious udon craving today, so I had to hit up Marugame Udon. Waited about 10 minutes, then grabbed a large Nikutama hot udon. As you move down the line, there’s freshly made tempura calling your name 😂—I grabbed the egg, sweet potato, shrimp, and a few others. Then hit the self-serve toppings for scallions and more. First bite… BOOM! Deep, flavorful broth, thin-sliced beef, and those perfectly chewy noodles. Loved it! The tempura was crispy, crunchy, and tasty, especially the egg—fluffy inside, crispy outside. Super satisfying meal, and the best part? I got to walk around the mall afterward and pretend I was burning off all those calories. 😂🔥“

Taberu Sushi was absolutely incredible. This is a family-run restaurant where you can immediately tell how much pride and care goes into the food.

We ordered the 16-piece Sashimi Box, which included bluefin tuna, cherry salmon, kanpachi, kuro dai, shima aji, toro, snapper, clam, mackerel and amberfish. Everything was unbelievably fresh and beautifully presented. The quality of the fish really stood out.

We learned that the chef is extremely particular about his fish. If something comes in from a vendor and isn't up to his standards, he sends it back. He also doesn't cut the fish until you actually order it. After eating here, you understand why. The texture, temperature and freshness were on another level.

We also had the scallops topped with uni and caviar 🤤, which were amazing, and the tuna toast was so simple but SO good. Honestly, there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again.

Lynn, the owner, was gracious and wonderful, she made us feel so welcome. Derek was our server and was equally wonderful and attentive. You really feel the warmth of a family-run restaurant here.

This was the place nearest to us that the ramen pics looked appealing. I have to say the ramen here was amazing. It tasted almost the same to the ramen we tried in our trip to Tokyo. And our server was so nice and attentive. He was so sweet that he gave our mom her drink for free since she wasn’t going to consume food due to not liking ramen but she was accompanying us. You look for a place that feels a bit tucked away, cozy, and smells instantly like caramelized soy, rendered fat, and sweet wood charcoal the second you open the door.

This is world-class Yakiniku.

You start with the yukke—the raw beef tartare. In lesser hands, raw beef can be a texture game with no payoff. Here? It’s seasoned with precision, rich, clean, and spiked with an egg yolk that ties the whole beautiful mess together. It’s a declaration of intent: we know meat, and we know how to treat it.

Then, the main event. Plates of A5 Wagyu, Kobe outside skirt, and prime beef tongue arrive, sliced with the kind of geometric reverence usually reserved for fine tailoring. The marbling on the Wagyu doesn't even look real; it looks like a geological map of some frozen, beautiful landscape.

You drop a piece onto the grill. It hisses. The fat hits the element, flares up, and perfumes the air. You don't leave it on long—just enough to get a quick sear, a bit of char, while keeping the inside beautifully rare. I had the best experience at Tabu Shabu! I sat out on the patio with my dog and it was absolutely perfect—comfortable, welcoming, and such a great vibe. I ordered a glass of wine and started with the cucumber appetizer and edamame, both super fresh and full of flavor. The highlight was the salmon bowl with rice…so delicious, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and they made me (and my pup!) feel totally at home. I think everyone came out at some point to visit with me and my pup. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and a dog-friendly spot for a drink and apps (cant do hotpot outside, but still worth it).“

“Cozy Japanese place perfect to grab lunch at! We got a rice ball, takoyaki, and the pork katsu sandwich. All the food came out very promptly and was yummy.

The interior is very cute! There are cute painted signs with food items. We also got some cute free stickers! Seating is limited to ~10 people due to the small size of the place so if it's busy, doing take-out would definitely be best. Unfortunately, there wasn't strong AC so it was hot inside.

Parking is limited and small but you could find street parking/parking in the neighborhood and walk.“

“Total hidden gem honestly kinda glad it hasn't blown up yet but I want them to stick around so I'm leaving an honest review.
Their sushi is amazing clean enough that I trust feeding my wife her salmon and scallop sushi cravings from this spot.
By far though the must try item is their jumbo Scallop it is soooooo gooood.
They have an all you can eat menu but I lay extra to order more of that scallop.
I also just found out they started a new promotion, free roll with x amount spent for example $20 gets you a California roll and $30 gets you a crunchy roll and 2 more tiers.

The sushi chef was so nice he snuck in an extra salmon sushi in my togo order today I hear he was the original shop owner, sold it went to japan to work more in the industry and came back and bought it back, or something along those lines from other people's reviews. May or may not be true but doesn't an amazing hole in the wall deserve that kind of romantic story?

“We had such a wonderful dinner at Anjin. Everything we ordered was delicious, but my favorites were definitely the Kainomi, the Anjin Seaweed Salad, and the orange sherbet at the end.

The Kainomi was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the seaweed salad was fresh, light, and perfectly seasoned. The orange sherbet was also such a refreshing way to finish the meal.

I honestly wanted to try so many more dishes, but since there were only two of us, we could only order so much. Next time, I would love to come with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu.

“I was going back to the yard to part my semi and I thought I’d get something quick to snack on at the corner store but it wasn’t open. The next thing open beside it was LUCKILY Tokyo Grill! I was hungry and I was going to wait til I got home but I decided to get the chicken bowl because I saw it was 9 bucks. I didn’t expect much as I took it to my truck and man was I blown away. The flavor of the chicken was so delicious and the amount of ingredients they put into the bowl is unbelievable. It had green beans pineapple carrot slices cabbage and some other vegetables. I was amazed for how much food they gave me for the plate only being 9 bucks and they put a lot of chicken in there which was a big plus. I didn’t have to dig around for any chicken.That’s why I’m writing this review, hopefully it helps anyone thinking coming to eat here. Oh and I also had really dirty hands and the lady at the cash register which I believe was part owner, gave me some wipes and was really nice. I’m pretty sure their other dishes are great too. I didn’t take a picture of my food because I was really hungry but it’s worth each penny I wasted.“
