And I love a ventilation system here because I did not leave smelling like barbecue, like I normally do at other places. The customer service was the best! Taberu Sushi was absolutely incredible. This is a family-run restaurant where you can immediately tell how much pride and care goes into the food.

We ordered the 16-piece Sashimi Box, which included bluefin tuna, cherry salmon, kanpachi, kuro dai, shima aji, toro, snapper, clam, mackerel and amberfish. Everything was unbelievably fresh and beautifully presented. The quality of the fish really stood out.

We learned that the chef is extremely particular about his fish. If something comes in from a vendor and isn't up to his standards, he sends it back. He also doesn't cut the fish until you actually order it. After eating here, you understand why. The texture, temperature and freshness were on another level.

We also had the scallops topped with uni and caviar 🤤, which were amazing, and the tuna toast was so simple but SO good. Honestly, there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again.

Lynn, the owner, was gracious and wonderful, she made us feel so welcome. Derek was our server and was equally wonderful and attentive. You really feel the warmth of a family-run restaurant here.

“Amazing experience. At first I was wary when I realized the restaurant was in an older hotel next door to Disneyland but I admit I was absolutely wrong. The restaurant was good enough to be one you could find in any five star resort or Michelin guide. The service was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was welcoming and extra nice to us. The chef was from Japan and had fifty years experience as a sushi chef in Japan. The food was amazing and I can’t state that enough. It was to die for. The fish is fresh, the hand rolls are delicious, prices are reasonable, and service is pretty quick (as long as every seat doesn’t fill at the exact same time, but even that is manageable).

“A top ramen spot in Orange County located minutes from Downtown Fullerton. Go to dish is the Tonkotsu Ramen. Love the consistency of the noodles and the rich flavored broth. Service is always exceptional with a welcoming atmosphere. I drive past many ramen spots just to come here. That alone should say a lot!“

“What a perfect hole in the wall Sushi spot. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Disney. Narrowed it down to Hana out of 50 sushi restaurants. How this restaurant only has a 4.5 rating is besides me. Absolutely incredible service and food. FREE MISO SOUP!!! Yes, you read that correctly. They also have ACE if you are a big eater. There is a small alcohol serving too. The location has outdoor seating, but I didn't see anyone using it. I ordered a regular Tuna roll as part of dinner, and it came with the rice on the out. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. I asked if the Chef can do Tuna Maki as off the menu, and he pulled through! I cant say enough good things. 5 Stars all the way. I hope I can return.

“Usually I save TikTok videos of restaurants I wanna try when I travel to LA but we were starving when we got out of the source oc plaza and just randomly searched a ramen place nearby. This was the place nearest to us that the ramen pics looked appealing. I have to say the ramen here was amazing. It tasted almost the same to the ramen we tried in our trip to Tokyo. And our server was so nice and attentive. He was so sweet that he gave our mom her drink for free since she wasn’t going to consume food due to not liking ramen but she was accompanying us. Found this place by accident but i have now marked it as a favorite and will definitely go back!“

Produce is fresh, lots of beers on tap. Only critisism is I wish they would change their chairs, they aren’t comfortable; the food is so good though it’s worth being uncomfortable!“

“Food is amazing. Pork Katsu comes with 5-6 pork slices that are extremely juicy and tender. Rice on the bottom with salad. Amazing side dishes like pickled radish and cucumbers served with creamy soup.

Service is incredible. Very attentive waiter. Fast with drinks and extremely speedy with service. I ask for napkins or more water; I close my eyes for one second and it's literally all there! Kim Tae (Ted) is amazing! Great work ethic displayed and attentiveness.

I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. This is exactly how takeout should be done: bold flavor, quality ingredients, and consistency from start to finish. Definitely going back.“

The couple that owns this restaurant is so sweet and absolutely incredible with customer service.
