“This place still doesn’t disappoint. Been here a bunch of times in the last 10 years and visited again recently. The menu is pretty much the same and the thick cut of sushi’s are identical to how I remember it being for years and why I come back. Ordered the udon for the first time and was amazed of how good the udon was, simple and satisfying.“

“Oh man where to begin! This place is a hidden gem that I was recently taken to. Ever since going my first time about a month ago, I’ve been back 5 times! The bluefin nigiri is probably the best nigiri I’ve had in Orange County (The bluefin keeps us coming back week after week). If I were to recommend anything, it would have to be the bluefin. The yellowtail and salmon nigiri are just as amazing. You can’t go wrong with anything here—the fish is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and each roll and nigiri is so unique in its own way and flavor profile. They are also incredibly generous with portion size and price! We love sitting at the bar because it makes the experience so much better!

Apart from the food, what also keeps me keeping back is the amazing hospitality and service! Whenever we walk in, we are greeted by the entire staff—the sushi chefs, hosts, and servers. The staff take great pride in ensuring that guests are taken care of, and they genuinely enjoy getting to know their guests on a personal and grounded level. A special mention to Torrance, Jay, and Robbin (The sushi chefs) who consistently put out amazing nigiri and rolls for us! Another mention to Debbie and Diana, who are so incredibly warm, friendly, and hospitable—providing the best service in town!“

“Came in for takeout yesterday and we were pleasantly impressed! We ordered: 2 bowls with scallops, albacore, spicy tuna and yellowtail. Of the other local poke places, we’ve never had yellowtail be offered. The fish and toppings all tasted so fresh…It was also so nice that on one of the bowls he mixed it all together vs, trying to mix it in the car and risk losing some very important pieces. So, we’re so happy to have found a new local poke spot! Thank you!“

“Fantasic staff! They are always so friendly and helpful! They always remember us when we come in. The shabu is fantastic. The broth selections are wonderful and you can mix and match! Produce is fresh, lots of beers on tap. Only critisism is I wish they would change their chairs, they aren’t comfortable; the food is so good though it’s worth being uncomfortable!“

“Absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was so good, but the sushi rolls were definitely the star of the show. They were fresh, flavorful, crispy, and the sauces on top took them to another level! The edamame was also seasoned perfectly and had so much flavor.
The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and everything came out looking and tasting fresh. On top of the amazing food, the servers were wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Great service really made the experience even better!

I always go there around afternoon and sometimes the food left over or I pick up take to go., they just Give me a looks like a very cheap Plastic bag and they don’t give me a nice paper bag. I saw they give Other customers its a black paper bag , but give me just a cheapest plastic one, The tip I always give 15% or 18% even I pick up to go still give 15% tip just don’t understand How can treat customer difference.“

“Absolutely one of the best teriyaki spot around. Tried the one on Whittier so I had to try this one and my gosh this one is fire🔥. The chicken is soft ,moist. The beef is perfectly marinated. The rice is so good , with the green onions and some sauce..uuufff its so good. Grab and go and take it back to the office like I do. On the run and well fed! ANB“

“Great for a group lunch! came here and picked up our teams lunch for an event nearby, the staff was so friendly and even helped me carry everything to my car. Great bowls and reasonably priced! I will be back whenever I’m in the area. There are a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in but this is very much a to-go vibe!“

“One of the things I love most about Sushi Boom is how accommodating they are. I don’t eat raw fish, and they’re always happy to make me a hand roll with cooked salmon. “Everything is absolutely excellent ! The quality of the food, the service, and the lovely lady at the counter who took the time to advise us and help us choose. The last time I had sushi this good was at Tsunami in Tampa, Florida!

My sister and I loved it so much that we came back three times in the same week. We absolutely had to check whether it was really that good or whether the first time had just been a lucky day.. And yeah, it was just THAT good and perfect every single time! 😂

I wish theyi had several locations across the United States so I could eat there wherever I travel. “My cousins brought me here to celebrate my 25th birthday. I love shabu, and I have yet to try this spot out.

Parking: They're located in a medium sized plaza, and there's plenty of free parking.

Ambiance/Environment: It's very clean inside. There's a decent amount of seating. We visited on a Thursday night, so it wasn't too busy.

Service: Our server was efficient. We didn't catch her name, but she was knowledgable about the menu when we asked questions. Throughput was under 15 min after ordering. After receiving our orders, our server checked on us a couple times.

Soup & meats: My bf and I ordered the 'specials for 2' and went with the shared brisket set. The soup was decent; wasn't too salty. My favorite part were the briskets. It came with a generous amount of briskets. The toppings were also fresh. This special included beers and desserts.“

And when he served us our food he gave us full service including checking up on us while we were eating and offering us extra sauce. The rice and chicken were tasty and so were the veggies. We did the 2 bowls for $25 which included 1 drink.“
