“Fantasic staff! They are always so friendly and helpful! They always remember us when we come in. The shabu is fantastic. The broth selections are wonderful and you can mix and match! Produce is fresh, lots of beers on tap. Only critisism is I wish they would change their chairs, they aren’t comfortable; the food is so good though it’s worth being uncomfortable!“

“My cousins brought me here to celebrate my 25th birthday. I love shabu, and I have yet to try this spot out.

Parking: They're located in a medium sized plaza, and there's plenty of free parking.

Ambiance/Environment: It's very clean inside. There's a decent amount of seating. We visited on a Thursday night, so it wasn't too busy.

Service: Our server was efficient. We didn't catch her name, but she was knowledgable about the menu when we asked questions. Throughput was under 15 min after ordering. After receiving our orders, our server checked on us a couple times.

Soup & meats: My bf and I ordered the 'specials for 2' and went with the shared brisket set. The soup was decent; wasn't too salty. My favorite part were the briskets. It came with a generous amount of briskets. The toppings were also fresh. This special included beers and desserts.“

“Had an amazing experience at Haidilao! The food was fresh, high quality, and there was a great variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables to choose from. The broth was flavorful, and everything came out quickly.

What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and constantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to make the dining experience enjoyable.

“A very good hotpot restaurant. Best in S. Cal. We had the standard AYCE option. You need to watch when the servers deliver the meat as the highest quality meat will get taken quickly. Same for the lobster rolls. I highly recommend that you give this place a try.“

“Happy Lamb offers a lunch special for $21.99 Monday through Friday, available until 3:00 PM (last call at 2:45 PM). The food is really good, and the service is decent. Overall, it’s a solid spot with good food and a reasonable midday deal.“

“We were looking for a place to eat late into the night and found this on Google. Boy was it good!!!! It's all you can eat and they have different combos for anyone's budget. They were really nice and got us a table even though it was late but honestly we left stuff silly on all the tasty food. It's such a pretty location and the servers were helpful despite us ending our time a little after closing. We got the combo B and almost every meat we tried was a hit. They have so many options in broth, seafood, and veggies. Sidenote: I can't recommend the lemonade enough XD they also have a nice little punch card deal with a nice reward for when you hit 10 visits. We will be back for more in the future! Have patience the quality is worth it.“

The Premium AYCE menu was packed with high-quality options, including tender Wagyu ribeye, fresh sushi rolls, and unique Korean ice cream soju cocktails. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.

Beyond the food, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The space was clean, modern, and welcoming, making it a great spot for date nights, celebrations, or a fun dinner with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, which made the experience even better.

If you’re looking for an elevated all-you-can-eat experience with premium meats, sushi, and creative drinks, Avenue Shabu is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back!“

“The hotpot I eat most often with friends is Lao Pier. The first time I ate flying pancakes was at Lao Pier. Now that I think about it, it still tastes delicious.“

“Chinese hot pot place, open late, $15 a pound plus the cost of broth, but I think you can also do dry bowls without broth.
They have a good selection of vegetables, noodles, meats, including shrimp, fish, and squid. I liked the shrimp and fish, but would not do the squid again because it was a little chewy.
I had the bone broth which was too heavy on the five spice flavor for my palette. Next time, I’ll try a different broth or maybe just a dry bowl.
I thought the music they played inside was pretty awful, but thankfully there’s plenty of outdoor seating :)
I’m definitely willing to try this place again.“

“Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this spot! First of all, their Wagyu Stacker is hands down one of the best dishes I’ve ever had — it’s incredible every single time.

The buffet is always spotless and well-maintained, which I really appreciate. It’s also super family-friendly. I’ve been here with both large groups and smaller parties, and they’re always accommodating and welcoming.

The pricing feels very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. You can truly taste the difference — the meat quality is excellent. They also offer outdoor seating, and dogs are allowed on the patio, which is a huge plus.

“The sushi was fresh and tasted good, but I was disappointed by the limited selection offered with the $27.99 lunch special. Considering the price, I expected a wider variety and better overall value. If you're looking for a restaurant that specializes in sushi, I don't think this would be my first choice. However, the shabu-shabu looked much more impressive. The quality and variety of the meats appeared to be excellent, making it a great option for meat lovers. I would definitely consider coming back to try the shabu-shabu instead of the sushi.“

“I live nearby and would like to support this Bar 100%. Staff and food quality and cleanliness are equally excellent. Have been going to this bar for more than 5YRs. Also, the location and the next-door wonderful restaurants are attractive to hang out.
This review is to suggest a few things that might attract more traffic: providing options of peanut-sauces (I loved the P. sauce from California Shabu Shabu but chose this Bar to support the business), installing the led-blinking light with a design for the interior wall and wrap around the bar. “Really enjoyed the wide selection of topping options you can add to your soup. They had a lot of options for soup bases too some spicy and some not spicy. The atmosphere is pretty nice I went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty easy to find a seat. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Waited about less than 20 minutes for my soup. Overall really good selection for the price. The dipping sauce bar didn’t have a ton of options but overall I really enjoyed this place.“

“I came by because of the special pricing on their Com Tam and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The Suon, Cha and Nuoc Mam were superbly done. I haven't found this level of quality and expertise outside of VN so this was great. Their Bi is was somewhat off on the day of my visit because the pork skin was a bit sticky but the flavor was fine. They're doing a Com Tam special for $10 and $12 probably to bring in new customers, but I would probably pay $20 and save myself a trip to VN (ha ha). Will update my review when I have a chance to try their other food items.“

“Wowwwww… tried this place for the first time tonight for dinner and I was blown away!! I ordered the Chongqing chicken and spicy pork wontons with white rice and loved everything. Service was fast for dinner time and the cashier was so kind and helpful and even gave me some recommendations too. The chicken was just the right amount of spicy and the wontons were some of my favorite I’ve had. Portions are also big enough to share. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. “Went for the first time last night as we are visiting from Las Vegas. We absolutely loved it. The service from both the servers and owner were subpar. The food and drinks were to die for, especially the food. We got to enjoy karaoke singing from the other patrons. The owner was extremely accommodating towards my service dog. He had a few questions which is normal but he said he had never had one in his establishment before us. Will definitely be back when we are in town ?? Lots of love from us! “Tomato broth hot pot here is the best! Despite the name, they offer non-spice broth options. 😋 I really love malatang and would usually get this and heytea on the same night. I think they price everything fairly and they give you good portions. The staff are equally friendly and they also offer take-out options if you wanna order to go or doordash it.“
