The ingredients looked and tasted very fresh. Also appreciated the great service. The variety of cuts of meat was nice as well.
So unbelievably good! Always get fast service and quality food here. Each time gets better than the last. From the sides to the meats to the vegetables this is a great place to get some high quality food!
I was new to hot pot last year so I won’t lie and say I know about the shabu shabu competition but I can promise you it is good. Plus I’ve been telling everyone how good it is
P.S. I love that you get your own bowl. I know it’s less communal but...read full review

Great ayce Shabu restaurant. The manager is professional and kind 👏. Daenjang broth and bulgogi are good. Meat is fresh. Small bites are good. At the end, finishing off with cold slushes is great.

Dpot in Irvine, Orange County, offers an all-you-can-eat shabu experience with a variety of broth choices, including a standout spicy broth that delivers just the right kick. Among the exciting options is the pho broth, which is noted for being flavorful and unique. The restaurant also features a DIY sauce bar, allowing customers to create their own dipping sauces with options like soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, chili, and green onions. For those who enjoy a unique twist, a recommended hack is wrapping meat from stackers around soba noodles. Stackers are included in both lunch and dinner options, always delicious and satisfying. Dpot caters to vegans with a selection of fresh vegetables for shabu-shabu meals. The establishment is clean and welcoming, providing a good selection of seafood, veggies, and hot pot items, with built-in induction plates for easy temperature control. While the soup bases could use improvement, the high-quality hot food selection is enjoyable, especially the mushrooms and the recommended galbi eye. Even the side dishes add a lot to the experience. Staff are friendly, although some customers noted they could be a bit too attentive. On Tuesday nights, diners can typically enjoy a meal without a wait. However, it is advisable to call ahead on weekends, as wait times can exceed two hours. Although the prices may be a little on the higher side, many find that they truly get what they pay for. Overall, Dpot has become a favorite spot for many who crave shabu or want to gather with friends and family.
