“We came the weekend after Valentine's Day and the place was packed. We ended up sitting outside on the patio with heat lamps. The area we sat was a bit small but overall, not a bad ambiance. The sushi was fresh and the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. We ended up over ordering a little. My favorite item of the night was the crab meat wrapped in salmon. We also ordered some yakitori, the toro with uni and caviar, the kaiseki set, and the sushi set for 2. In addition, I ordered the chawanmushi (steamed egg with seafood) and it was great. My only complaint about the experience was I asked the waitress what was in the kaiseki set because I didn't want repeats. She didn't know and didn't end up checking for us. I ordered the chawanmushi, which ended up being a repeat item because it also came with the kaiseki set. In addition, there were also a couple sushi items that were also repeats with the sushi set. I was a little annoyed by that because we ended up with too much food (and of the same food) and she had been trying to suggest more items. Aside for the upselling, everything else was great and we know what to order next time.“
“The quality of sushi easily competes with more upscale restaurants, definitely on the top of our list in OC/SoCal. The composition of each dish is packed with fresh quality fish with variety of textures. One of our favorite is Premium Chirashi, just be prepared to stretch your tummy a bit. ? “I did take out on a Wednesday night. I called ahead and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. There were a few people waiting outside which was a good sign that this was a good place to eat. The dining room looked full. My food was ready along with several others in the rack. I can't really say much about the service here as I only did take out. The food however was great! The curry chicken tonkatsu was crispy and big. I liked the pickled radish. The price was good. The cheese tonkatsu was also very good. It tastes really good hot and fresh. Unfortunately since I did take out, it lost its warmth. I would recommend reheating it in an air fryer if you takeout for home. This place is great and I would definitely come back again.“

“I am a huge fan. Their menu has good variety- covers everything from meat to seafood to veggies. Their prices are reasonable and portions are great too. Their staff are always super sweet, quick, and helpful.My recommendations are the salmon pepper rice, teriyaki salmon, and chicken karaage with sizzling curry. The strawberry dragonfruit drink is my absolute fave too!!“
“I am addicted to this cafe/deli since it is next to my work and so ready+accessible. the staff is so friendly and welcoming that sometimes I just want to go to talk and say hi!! the vibe is adorably small, quaint, it's sometimes packed sometimes empty but the staff are always working hard on orders. Another huge attribution to my addiction is their matcha caramel coldbrew, I had to refrain myself from posting the entirety of my vast collection of photos of coffee orders on this review. I'm a SUCKERR for sweet coffee drinks. I've never ordered a new drink here and gotten disappointed! It tastes the same every single time too. the food here is easy to pick up, for lunch i'd usually go for a sausage dog or a bento box the french toast is also an item that can be rare, but when it's available it's a MUST for a sweet treat!“

“i was looking for somewhere to treat my girlfriend for our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. we were seated immediately and the server accommodated all of our requests. my girlfriend and i are both introverts but it was really helpful how our server was able to give us food recommendations right off the bat without us having to ask. i had the black dragon and black widow, my girlfriend had the salmon and we enjoyed it alot. if we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stop by for the quality food and service. major thank you to our server, we forgot her name but she had blonde hair and was very helpful!“
“I've been curious about this place and so happy I finally went, especially since I discovered that it was so close to me. They had so many good buffet options, I wanted to go back for more but didn't have enough room to eat. The meat was delicious and I would definitely want to come back. This place was clean and very nice inside too. Not too many people but there was a wait when we got there. Parking is down the ramp and plenty of it.“
“The flavor of the rice balls was so good. The only this is that the rice wasn’t very sticky. I got a shrimp rice ball (pictured) and kbbq beef rice ball (not pictured). My boyfriend ended up just getting the crab rice ball (pictured). The kbbq beef rice ball ended up falling apart unfortunately and was really hard to eat. The other two stayed in tact for the most part, but we could definitely feel them start to fall apart while eating. The little market place that Ricebunn is located in is very cute though. There’s a few other small restaurants around it and some seating as well.“

“I visit O Sushi about one time per week over the past 2 years. It is close to my home so it has become my favorite neighborhood restaurant. I've been to many Sushi spots. This one is by far the very best I've ever been but with a price tag that's super casual. I love this place, the sushi chefs are amazing, the wait staff are on point and friendly. My only slight complaint is they do not have a full bar, just beer and wine and of course saki. Super great spot!! Mike“

“It was very good and a lot of fun. My first time and I can tell it takes a while to get the hang of it. I overcooked my veggies by putting too many in at the same time. The spicy broth didn't have much flavor and I liked my girlfriend's chicken broth much better. It would be nice to have a small slotted ladle to fish out the food because you can't see it while the broth is boiling and it's a bit challenging finding and fishing it out small pieces with chopsticks.“

They also have baked options for those out there whom aren’t ready to make the leap into their raw menu! Had the 2-Protein choice and had the Tuna and Salmon with all of the toppings along with a splash of Yuzu Citrus. “I came here for lunch and some grocery shopping at Mitsuwa. I was craving curry so I got their pork cutlet curry with some green tea. The area where you order is like a food court and they have displays of the food that they serve which are super detailed and look delicious. Ordering was simple and the cashiers were friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food and it was made to order. My lunch was super satisfying and filling. The katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly. The curry was flavorful but not overpowering. A great meal to have right before grocery shopping in Mitsuwa.“

This time my mom and I shared a Tonkatsu set lunch which included a miso soup, some sushi and the star of the show- tonkatsu! We ordered extra miso soup and the portion was just right for both of us since mom is recovering from surgery and not eating much yet. The sushi was fresh, miso seasoned just right and the tonkatsu was sufficiently thick, juicy and breaded perfectly with a golden crisp exterior. The service was attentive despite a full house with a decent amount of check-ins and hot water refills. My only quibble would be the wait time at noon for a table, which took a good 30 min. So plan your lunch accordingly!“
