We came the weekend after Valentine's Day and the place was packed. We ended up sitting outside on the patio with heat lamps. The area we sat was a bit small but overall, not a bad ambiance. The sushi was fresh and the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. We ended up over ordering a little. My favorite item of the night was the crab meat wrapped in salmon. We had high expectations and they were surpassed. This was a wonderful experience and a great place for serious food. It's an exceptional date night restaurant or just to treat yourself to a culinary delight. We couldn't stop eating to take notes or photos! Next time we are in the greater Irvine area, we'll be coming back for more.
First off- there is a place with the exact same name in Los Angeles. Even through there are a few items that are similar to this place, it has totally different vibe, presentation, and overall quality/ experience.
