“chicken is very top tier, i got a lvl 3/6 (medium) and it gave the right amount of kick. it's enough to take a bite and you feel it instantly but you also feel the actual heatness of the chicken so it gives the thought that your bite is even spicier than it actually is. the fires have the outer layer of like breading which makes it crunchier which is what my preference is for fries in general. not gonna lie the actual store is kind of lonely since there was only 2 customers that came in and i was there for 50 minutes. the art on the walls are very nice though. one little thing that makes the service better is that the cashier brings your order to you which i didn't expect but it's just the tiny things that go a long way.“

“I ordered three chicken fingers by itself today for the first time. Typically I will get a combo box, which includes their secret sauce. I was unaware that when you order à la carte, the sauce is not included, rather they have to charge you $.42. I was pretty displeased hearing that, and may have overreacted with the pointless charge. Thus, was not going to proceed with my order, and just be on my way. A manager by the name of David, then assisted me and explained the reasoning as to why, still didn’t really make sense. Why are you going to charge for sauce when you’re ordering three chicken fingers… And the manager, David, confirmed he would waive that fee for me this time. Upon driving up to the window he comped my entire meal, apologized and was sympathetic to my frustration. Then I felt bad for my petty complaint, and wanted to pay, but he refused at that point. Thank you for doing the right thing and ensuring I stay a loyal customer.“

She sat us right away and took our order. Our drinks were prompt and our food came soon after hot and fresh! It's also extremely popular, so make sure that you're prepared to wait.If you go in off hours during the week it'll be 10 to 15 minutes. If you go very early on the Saturday (closed Sunday) you'll probably wait 45 minutes or more. Don't even bother going after 9 AM as they will probably have already sold out.If you know you're going to want a breakfast burrito on Saturday morning, I recommend calling on Friday and placing an order.There are a couple of tables, but they're in the direct sun so be prepared to deal or go to a second location.“

Well from the moment we arrived the waitress was delightfully sweet and the atmosphere was warm and friendly and casually welcoming. The waitress Kristin V., who was assigned to our table was very friendly and helpful plus had great menu suggestions which made us feel welcomed All of the food was delicious and tasty and the cocktails were even better. Then to top it off the dessert was so good Horchata Ice Cream and Churros so delicious The only issue we all had was the restaurant did not supply Chips and Salsa at this Mexican restaurant too our surprise ? so we had to purchase some which is not usually the case at an Mexican restaurant ??♀️??♀️ But I'm sure I will be back with my husband since it's near my house and priced reasonably well. I originally wanted the ribeye, but I was told that it was too marbled and not as good as the porterhouse. I’m going to come back for the ribeye.- ceviche (3 ways) - very good!- bread - there were 6 different types of bread within the loaf. Not sure how they did this, but it was tasty.- creamed corn - the flavors were good but the texture of the corn was off. Not sure how to explain it but it was too chewy.- mushrooms - good. Didn’t love the flavor of the sauce but it was cooked well and texture was perfect.- lobster Mac - so good. Must get it.- prime rib - very good. “3 companions and I dined at Populaire Modern Bistro in South Coast Plaza on 2/21/24 and I ordered the prix fixe menu. We bought a bottle of wine separately. The PF menu was $65 per person and well worth it. Everything was spectacular. The blending of flavors with the heirloom carrots was unique. I'm not normally a huge fan of tartare normally, but it was really flavorful. The beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth tender and even the rice pudding - which I can normally take or leave - had some wonderful, unexpected flavors. Don't be fooled by the "bistro" label. This was definitely a cut above the normal bistro fare of steak and frites or Croque Monsieur.Our server was warm and efficient. She was friendly enough to stop and talk but took her cue from us, which was much appreciated. The location used to be part of the Corner Bakery chain. It was remodeled in part, but it's in South Coast Plaza mall so not a ton of atmosphere. Once you taste the food, you won't care!“

I've been going here since I can remember, I go at least once a week to fill my craving of a ham n scram burrito. I even have their stickers all over my work truck. It's my Sunday routine You get the point about ham n scram, they are my favorite breakfast burrito spot around. Not only do they makes great burritos, they also have a great staff. Everyone is super friendly and always making sure everyone is getting there food. They are a small shop but they do crank out burritos on the fly. You can always call in which is super nice , so you don't have to wait incase there is a line. Average time for a burrito is roughly 10min , which is in my option is top notch services considering how many people they are serving& they are cooking everything FRESH! You can taste how fresh everything is, never had a day when I got a bad burrito. That's why I love this place, I know what quality I'm getting every time I order. If you like ham , then go give this place a try because you won't be disappointed. My server, Cynthia, recommended the country fried steak and I am so glad she did! It was absolutely delicious. It was a great to devour it while taking in all of the bears around the restaurant. Whoever is cooking the food is giving it some real TLC, and you can tell they take pride in their work. The staff always makes sure to get the orders done in a timely manner, and there's never been an issue with accuracy, they get it right every time, down to how the eggs are prepped. So if you want a great breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack, you'll get the best food here. It's one of my favorites!“
