The Mint Julep Bar at Disneyland is a popular spot for a refreshing drink and tasty beignets. The mint julep is described as very refreshing, not too sweet, and perfect for cooling down on a warm day. The New Orleans mint julep offers good service and is conveniently located right next to Pirates of the Caribbean in Tiana’s Palace. Beignets are a standout, especially the classic flavor, which is highly recommended. The colorful and fun environment makes it a great outdoor treat for visitors. The beignets are delivered fresh and warm within five minutes of ordering. However, the delicious powdered sugar can cause a mess, so it’s advised to shake the bag before eating to distribute the powder evenly. The Mickey beignets are considered phenomenal and very well made; the more powder on them, the better they taste. It’s suggested to bring napkins or even a poncho to stay clean while enjoying these treats. The seasonal sweet potato beignets were found to be just fine, but not particularly flavorful. The dye used to make them purple may cause temporary discoloration of the lips and teeth. Since lines can be long, mobile ordering is recommended. Currently, this location is temporarily around the corner from Tiana’s Place due to construction.
