“Woody's Diner is definitely a spot worth checking out! Our experience there was nothing short of fantastic. Our server, Keelyn, was an absolute gem. Not only was she super attentive, but she also took the time to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. She even went the extra mile by providing recommendations and popular choices from the menu, which we really appreciated. Speaking of the menu, the food was outstanding. I opted for their signature omelette, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Not only was it a generous portion size, but it was also bursting with flavor without tasting greasy or heavy. My wife decided to go with the pancakes, and she was equally impressed. They were fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. One thing that really stood out to us was the family-friendly atmosphere. Not only did they have coloring crayons available for our toddler, but Keelyn also suggested some nearby family activities we could enjoy after our meal, which was a nice touch. Overall, Woody's Diner exceeded our expectations in every way. From the attentive service to the delicious food and cozy ambiance, we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Woody's Diner. You won't be disappointed!“
“I love this place it's been so long since we came here. I was craving a delicious breakfast today so suggested Harbor House. What can I say, been coming here for like 20 years wow that's such a long time! It doesn't even feel like that long, this place is amazing. I love their corn beef hash and eggs, I always have them make it extra crispy, the hash browns extra crispy and I got a side of extra crispy bacon. I remember they used to have the home style potatoes if I remember correctly, but it's been a while since we have been here so sort of forgot. I also had a coke with grenadine so delicious. My husband ordered the Denver Omelette with cheese with hash browns and coffee. Was a nice brunch/lunch. Usually this place is always packed with lines out the door. Today it wasn't too busy maybe we came at the off time of day. The parking lot is small and is a little crazy when it is busy but I love that it's near Sunset Beach. I love coming down here such a beautiful drive and area. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Brought our drinks and food out quickly. I love the ambiance here with all the posters of old movies and the pictures of the movie stars on the walls, the lights too, they have posters hanging on the sealing's as well. Where we sat at the top part in the back area they have these old bingo games all over the walls to which I love. Nice that they haven't changed anything for the last 25 years. Still cool atmosphere I forever love. We usually always sit in the top area of the back of the restaurant so we can overlook everything and have a private sort of area which is nice. All the food here is delicious! I highly recommend this place if you haven't been here before. 5 stars for great service, delicious food, cool atmosphere and for being one of my favorite breakfast places to go for so many years! Thank you for always having delicious food and being consistent for so many years. Have a beautiful day :) Aloha“
“we were here on a Sunday night, it was karaoke night with Miss Kristina, great music, awesome people, the place got packed and for a reason. do stop by if you're in the area.Parking: there is a parking lot right in front of the building.“
“This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back). The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there.A must try!“
“Ok finally tried it. Wow. Delicious!! Hats off to this little place. Nailed it!! The crew was friendly and the food is worth the wait. The price is fair for the quality. We had the OG breakfast burrito and you won’t find a better one anywhere. Congratulations on your fantastic business. We shall return“
“Embarking on a culinary journey at Chez Bacchus was an absolute delight. I don't drink myself but our guests had a blast with the experience. The six-course meal with perfectly matched wines was an experience that left an indelible mark on everyone's palate. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth. Each course was a testament to the culinary prowess of the chefs, with dishes artfully presented and bursting with flavor. The expertly paired wines elevated the dining experience, with each sip enhancing the flavors of the accompanying dish. From delicate appetizers to decadent desserts, every aspect of the meal was meticulously crafted to create a symphony of taste sensations. With impeccable service and a truly unforgettable culinary experience, dining at Chez Bacchus "Chef Table" is a must for anyone seeking an indulgent gastronomic adventure.“
“Very good place to get breakfast and josue is the best waiter. Josue Betancourt has always been a very kind, courteous, and gracious worker. Serves gus customers with the utmost respect. Love gis service. Giving him a rise would be a great reward if it was in my power to so.“
“I did enjoy my experience here, I used to always come a lot as a teenager and things have changed but it still is great. My server, Azul, was very kind and polite, was continuously checking if we needed anything. Overall a good experience.“
“My favorite shop in Long Beach, and the best frittata I've ever had anywhere, ever. Seriously. The patio is cute AF.I get a cold brew growler every week, and the ricotta jam toast is so good. All of the jams are made in house or locally. The service is always flawless and kind, and they know many of their customers by name ?️⚧️?️?“
“You're looking for fresh seafood, expertly prepared, perfectly seasoned. This is it. It's a clean and upscale place that actually serves FRESH fish, never frozen, and you can tell. The flavors are delicate and carefully prepared, and served rapidly. Their kitchen is truly amazing. Some of the best seafood I've had. Recommended.“
“The food is always good at this location. I felt the staff was friendly and helpful. This is one of my top restaurants to go to as the price is fair. For what you get and quality is great. The turkey and chicken sandwiches are great. The steak is very good. Mashed potatoes are great.“
“I recently celebrated my birthday at Duke’s Restaurant in Huntington Beach, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The atmosphere on the bar side where we were seated was vibrant and perfectly complemented the ocean view. Our server, Alicia, was the highlight of our evening. Her attentive and friendly service ensured our night was special. She was constantly checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. We decided to go with the Friday special, which included a delicious Poki and Pineapple Chicken. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well-presented, capturing the essence of Hawaiian cuisine. The couple of Mai Tais we had were expertly mixed—refreshing and just the right touch of tropical. The Friday night entertainment was a real treat. The Hula dancers and the Hawaiian musician set a festive mood, making us feel like we were on a mini vacation to the islands.Duke’s provided an excellent backdrop for my birthday celebration. Great food, superb service, and entertaining performances made it a memorable evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a slice of Hawaii in Huntington Beach!“
“The Attic provided us with a great start to the long weekend we have planned. The food was great. From the short rib poutine to fall off the bone pork ribs, everything we had was masterfully prepared. The doughnut beneigts with homemade strawberry jam were the perfect end to the meal. The rootbeer float was amazing.Portion size was perfect for what we were looking for at the time. The restaurant itself was beautiful and was very relaxing. Outdoor seating was comfortable, and of needed, there was overhead heating available. We can't wait to go back and eat there again!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the front door, but the outdoor seating is right at the sidewalk level and easy to navigate a wheel chair through“
“I ordered the country fried steak. It was amazing super good, but it had spice to it and with health issues I can’t have spice. I told my server the manager came out immediately asked me if there was anything else that they could make. They were super accommodating and nice and they brought me out something that was, awesome!!! We live 2hrs away but we always stop here when out this way!“
“Jongewaard BAKE N BROIL is a hidden gem; in Bixby Knoll area of Long Beach; that took me straight back to the 50s with its quaint diner charm and mouthwatering treats. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by friendly faces and a warm atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Let's talk about the desserts - oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The Red Velvet cake stole the show with its rich flavor and perfect texture, earning the top spot on my list. But the German Chocolate cake wasn't far behind, delivering a decadent experience that left me craving more. And don't even get me started on the lemon cream cheese pie - it's a slice of heaven on a plate! But it's not just about the sweets at Jongewaard BAKE N BROIL. Their breakfast options are equally divine, especially the lemon blueberry pancakes, which were an absolute delight. And for those craving something heartier, the steak and eggs breakfast hit the spot, while the burgers and onion rings satisfied my savory cravings perfectly. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the welcoming atmosphere and the owner's commitment to giving young employees a chance to shine. It's refreshing to see a business that values community and opportunity as much as they value delicious food. Whether you're looking for a nostalgic trip down memory lane or simply craving some incredible comfort food, Jongewaard BAKE N BROIL is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Anyone saying otherwise is a hater! Support local businesses.“
“We. Are here for our friends birthday. Very nice vibe with an industrial plus natural ambiance as they use lots of metal and wood for decoration. We ordered the SS signature burger, some appetizers (truffle fries, Korean style pork belly with lettuce wrap, calamari), some drinks and a dessert (pistachio cake, which is all right). The food in general was tasty but not mind blowing. Probably above average. The waitress was super friendly. Recommend for friends and family gathering.“
“Title: Hidden Gem in Seal Beach!I recently discovered this hidden gem in Seal Beach after my favorite restaurant closed down. What a pleasant surprise it was!Review:My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant while enjoying a leisurely stroll in the downtown area, and we were blown away by the exceptional service and food quality. The Angus Beef Brisket was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The Brussels sprouts and the biscuit were excellent additions to our meal, adding a delightful touch to our dining experience.Atmosphere:The weather was delightful, adding to the charm of our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in.Dining Experience:We were fortunate to arrive just before the rush as there were no empty tables when we visited last Saturday. It's a good thing we beat the crowd - timing truly is everything! Conclusion:I have no hesitation in awarding this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Seal Beach. If you're looking for a new favorite spot with top-notch food and service, look no further!“
“Make sure you make reservations in advanced or be ready to wait an hour at least during dinner times. Great area to walk around and plenty of bars to grab a drink while you wait. Parking will be tough so make sure you give yourself extra time and may the odds be ever in your favor...If it's your first time get the bacon deviled eggs, prime rib dip with mac & cheese and finish it off with their butter cake. Trust.Dinner here comes to around $40-$50/person but well worth for any special occasion.Shoutout to Christian who provided awesome service during our dinner.“
“I'm blessed with five BFF's for the past 50 years and we have celebrated each other's birthdays together for all of these years! So my bestie Jeri chose Amor Y Tacos for our outing today too celebrate her 59th birthday It was all of our first time too this restaurant and the funny thing is that it is 10 minutes from my home and I didn't even know. Well from the moment we arrived the waitress was delightfully sweet and the atmosphere was warm and friendly and casually welcoming. The waitress Kristin V., who was assigned to our table was very friendly and helpful plus had great menu suggestions which made us feel welcomed All of the food was delicious and tasty and the cocktails were even better. Then to top it off the dessert was so good Horchata Ice Cream and Churros so delicious The only issue we all had was the restaurant did not supply Chips and Salsa at this Mexican restaurant too our surprise ? so we had to purchase some which is not usually the case at an Mexican restaurant ??♀️??♀️ But I'm sure I will be back with my husband since it's near my house and priced reasonably well. Thank you to Kristin for outstanding customer service she should be applauded for that extra measure of care we truly appreciated it thank you.“
“fantastic nook in long beach. great food (pretty classic bar fare but done very well), great bar, great service. some nights with live music, atmosphere spot on. i'll definitely be back to explore the menu a little more and have the bar teach me a drink or two.“
“Our family had an amazing first-time experience today. The VIP lines were simple and fast. The workers were very welcoming and our server(serf) Aaron was simply awesome. He was exceptionally helpful, polite, and professional. Aaron helped make our experience one to remember. The food was tasteful and abundant, left the place with a full belly. The performers truly put on a fantastic show from beginning to end.“
“My name is Tyler & I'm with a local fencing company down the street. This place has been my GO TO SPOT FOR YEARS. I've been going here since I can remember, I go at least once a week to fill my craving of a ham n scram burrito. I even have their stickers all over my work truck. It's my Sunday routine You get the point about ham n scram, they are my favorite breakfast burrito spot around. Not only do they makes great burritos, they also have a great staff. Everyone is super friendly and always making sure everyone is getting there food. They are a small shop but they do crank out burritos on the fly. You can always call in which is super nice , so you don't have to wait incase there is a line. Average time for a burrito is roughly 10min , which is in my option is top notch services considering how many people they are serving& they are cooking everything FRESH! You can taste how fresh everything is, never had a day when I got a bad burrito. That's why I love this place, I know what quality I'm getting every time I order. If you like ham , then go give this place a try because you won't be disappointed. They have been my favorite spot & will always be favorite spot as long as they keep providing those killer burritos HAM N SCRAM ON WESTMINSTER BLVD“
“Had a great breakfast here! My wife had Linda's avo toast and I had the cowboy omelette (can't resist when I see kielbasa on a menu) and both were great. They also had a nice selection of bakery items and unique lattes and teas. Our service by Susie was excellent! She was very sweet and took great care of us. You can tell she takes pride in the restaurant! Definitely worth a stop - the lunch and dinner menu looked great too.“
“Food - 10/10 the pizza was delicious! Unfortunately when we came he didn't have much of the sandwiches because he sold out fast. I will definitely be back to try the other stuff. The drinks were good as well! PB&JAY protein shake was filing! And the Romeo and Juliet mimosa was sweet and savory! Service - fast, friendly, and efficient Ambiance - I love the ambiance! Indoor and outdoor seating. Love the decor inside and outside as well!“
“ABC burger and buffalo chicken sandwich were really good. my absolute favorite were the onion rings … highly recommend them, super crispy and delicious. Very fairly priced and this location was super clean….glad I tried this place definitely coming back !“
“Fantastic view of the ocean! Belmont Brewing Co is located at the enttance of Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. I'm not sure if there's free parking in the area, but we parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant which is not free. Had to pay at the kiosk. This place serves american food and alcohol. Came here during lunch time with coworkers. They ordered alcohol and returned to work right after. I ordered the american style kobe burger. It was very delicious but be aware that it's not real kobe beef. Staffs were friendly and had a good meal here. Really nice restaurant by the beach. Would recommend eating here. It might be a little pricey, but you're next to the ocean.“
“Good food, beer, service, and ambiance. Their burgers are legit and they'll sub impossible patty if you don't eat meat. Their pretzel is incredible, not only is it tasty but it's the size of my head! Food comes out pretty quick and is always hot and freshly made. The beers are tasty and nice and cold. Dennis the owner is cool, if you sit at the bar he'll engage in conversation when he's not busy taking care of other things around the brewery. My husband and I have been here about 5 times now and he remembers us and even conversations we've had in the past. That really says something especially considering all the people he sees and talks to daily.“
“I had their California quinoa salad. I had it with the tuna and the tuna was marinated with some type of spice I couldn't figure out. It was very tasty. I also tried the fish and chips which was very good. In addition, the calamari was nice and crispy breaded. I was starving when I got there and may have been a little restless about when the service got to us. Amazing views of the beach and the ocean.“
“Went in last night for dinner with my friend and had the pleasure of getting Cristina again. She recommended the new blueberry lemonade, which was a hit!I had lunch, but I’ll definitely definitely be back to try the blueberry pancakes ! She was the only one working the front at the time we went in, but as always, she was super attentive and extremely friendly with her guests!Black bear diner, this girl needs a raise and the promotion!!“
“After going to the Garden Amp for a concert, a group of us were looking for a place to grab and drink and a bite to eat. We found this place on Yelp and so we decided to give it a try. This place is in a industrial but the wife and I like dives so we came in. Unfortunately, the owner let us know that the kitchen was closed so I went out to inform our group. We decided to have a drink anyways but when we walked in Paula met us at the door with that huge smile and said that they could offer us a limited. We quickly ordered 5 burgers and fries. BTW, the buns are made there at Henry's, that is a nice and rare move for a small dive bar, right? The beer offerings were pretty decent. I had a Blue Moon and my friends had Fuzzy... something or other. I was laughing and talking so I don't know exactly. My wife did get the Cardiff Cab Sauvignon that was pretty decent. What makes a great dive bar is the crowd and this place had a great group. The table next to us was serenading the room with both Bolero's and some great country hits. Their fun was infectious. Thanks again Paula for helping us wrap up a great night. Hope to see you again, soon.“
“I always like the Hangout. Love looking out the windows and seeing the ocean while eating a very tasty meal. The staff members are very friendly and the service is good. Bloody Mary's are a nice way to top off a great dining experience.“
“Normally Dennys is predictably ok, fills you but is nothing amazing. We had the best time, the food was fresh and good. The waitress quickly accommodated every request, the kitchen got the orders just right. I'm so used to lackluster these days that we were really surprised and kept talking about how great it was.“
“I fkn love this place! We have been coming to The Cauldron since 2019 and every year it's like the first. Everything about this spot is magical and intriguing. The drink are mouth watering and the food is delicious. We fall in love with this place and each other all over again every year.“
“Cannot remember our waiters name but he was OUTSTANDING. We dined with our pets and he just made the night. Was so knowledgeable about our wine we ordered. The whole staff was on top of everything. Given this is a beach town a lot of places seem to be too laid back and no urgency. Here. Everything from the fresh oysters to the surf and turf were out of this world.“
“We have lived in FV for over 10 yrs. Never pay any attention to any on the restaurants in this strip because they never last....... tried to go to Shabuya, wait time went from 11 mins. To over 2 hrs. In 30 mins. This restaurant saved the night. The food ????? the service!!!!!!!!!! Even better. They actually do fish and chips the right way, not with soggy beer batter.... thank you so good! Can't wait to come back!“
“These guys have dialed it in! In response to a message I recieved after my prior review I requested no seasoning and well done for my fries and wow, what an improvement! The chicken crimsons were amazing as always. 10/10 This time we tried the onion. It was kind of like an awesome blossum from outback. 9 bucks and lots of delicious crispy savory onion for the price. This place is very nice inside, I carried good out this time but, used their restroom on this visit. It is very clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure, thanks for the good eats, Crimson Coward!“
“Came here from L. A. JUST for the Kabocha squash bisque, which I literally CRAVE! Heart skipped a beat when I learned it's not usually served until dinner- but It WAS READY! Yeeeaah me! Eating one serving here, and taking a few home for a few days during the week! It's worth the long drive!!!“
“I always liked this cafe for their breakfast and lunch menu. So I thought I'd take my granddaughter here for a breakfast, she really likes this place too. She ordered the pancake special with a side of hash browns and extra egg. So much food she took some home. I had the the veggie skillet, so delicious, with a side of one pancake. Oh my goodness, that one pancake was eight dollars! The tab for our breakfast for was over $70 and damm that a lot. I know prices have gone up, but it's gonna be a while before I go back.“
“Stopped by for breakfast before heading to the airport. Service from the Asian lady was much better than the white female lady.Food:Fruit BowlPopeye OmeletBiscuits & GravyThe Popeye Omelet was good and plentiful. I truly enjoyed the Biscuits & Gravy. It was delcious.I'd return again“
“Sweet little place in the middle of the park that has some awesome brunch foods! All the seating is outdoors while the kitchen is in its own little building. Definitely be aware of the weather before coming here since it is outside, and that said, this place closes around 2pm so get your fix early!“
“I've had the pleasure of dining at Noble Bird a few times now and they never disappoint. The menu is simple and yet packed full of flavor and healthy ingredients. Their fried rice is out of this world! I was taken aback at how quickly I devoured it. The Thai Noodle Salad is another one of my favorites. It was absolutely massive in size so I had it for lunch the next day. Regardless of what you order, it'll leave you thoroughly satisfied without feeling overly full. A fantastic place to dine or takeout at any time of day!“
“A beachside cafe on the sand is everything I didn't know I needed here in LA/OC. It's such a great chill spot, plenty of parking, just steps away from the Pacific Ocean. They have corn hole, giant Jenga, a climbing park right next to it. So it's an amazing spot for families and even the pups (they offer unseasoned grilled beef patties!)I got the tofu banh mi with a side salad and a machaca breakfast burrito. Surprisingly, the food was actually pretty impressive, half of me was expecting beach shack quality. The food does take a bit to come out, but it's not fast food here. They serve alcohol, have vegan options, breakfast all day. It's a pretty great spot to relax, enjoy the sound of the beach waves, dig your toes in the sand, and eat/drink.“
“We love this place! Johnny made us feel like a regular and served up great cocktails and food. Get the chicken pot pie (if they haven't sold out) or a brick oven pizza. Too bad we missed Tommy who was out cheering on the Packers, but we'll catch him next time.“
“Love Esther’s! She has the best sandwiches and soup. My go to is her chicken salad sandwich with a cup of soup. SOUPER yummy ?Cash, zelle or venmo only so comePreparedShe’s located in the Old World shopping center! So glad I found her again.“
“This is a little burger place. It's a little bit bigger than a shack. But it's pretty small. They have old school diner barstools around the counter on the outside, and three covered picnic tables. The menu is small. But it's pretty classic.I got a Bixby Double Combo. The fries were good and cooked well. The burger had thick slices of American cheese, onions, tomatoes, and 1000 island dressing. The burger was tasty. But it's nothing like In-n-Out, as some of the reviews said. It's a well made basic burger. The service was fast and pleasant. It's a neat little place. Unfortunately, it has limited hours (10-6 m-sat), so I won't have many opportunities to come back. But if i'm in the mood for a burger at lunch near home, I'd come back. It was pretty good and the price was fair.“
“American breakfast/lunch restaurant in Cypress, on Lincoln and Moody, right across the IHOP. Clearly, way better than the latter... Fairly packed at around noon, especially on weekends (come earlier or later, it's open until 1:30 PM). The food is quite good. Maybe not spectacular, but still better than average. I had the California Chicken Sandwich, which comes with bacon, avocado slices, and iceberg lettuce. Everything was fresh and tasty. I would have preferred a plumper chicken breast (the kind "Paul's" serves on Cerritos and Knotts) instead of more smashed meat, but that's down to personal preference. My wife had the breakfast burrito, and it was quite good.“
“The menu is somewhat eclectic and unusual for this type of place, which is great. I had the chicken fried steak on my first visit and found the breading to be too thin, oily, and not at all crispy. The next time I came I had a steak - boy it was really salty. But I swear I like this place. The service is always top notch, the breads are unusual, the beer list is surprisingly capable, and the patio is gorgeous.“
“Damian(Service Manager)single handedly saved my review of this place and me coming back when in the area. I wont give all the deets however the food was solid but without Damian my service experience here would have been "trash" .“
“Super friendly staff at this American style breakfast joint made us feel instantly at home. Even the other guests were kind and welcoming. We liked the French Toast and Breakfast Burrito whose quality easily surpassed that of similar offerings from natural chain establishments.“
“Great location for green cheek. everything about this place is fantastic. Great service and food and wonderful atmosphere either downstairs or upstairs with a view of the ocean. The beer is fantastic as well but I already knew that from their orange “
