“I was at Heritage to celebrate a special occasion — the restaurant was cozy and homey. The kitchen was right in front of us, so the whole room was filled with different aromas. Both the service and food were great. The first few courses were delicious, adding a bit of extra excitement to the meal. That said, for a restaurant charging $195/person with a Michelin star, serving food and beverages on a cracked plate and in a chipped cup felt off. When I asked the staff about it, she gave me a smirk and downplayed it with some excuses and brushed it off. Better quality control may be needed as your guests deserve better.“

Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. “We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“My wife, her cousin, and I stopped by here after Sunday mass for breakfast. First of all, it's in an old schoolhouse, which in and of itself, is super cool. The restaurant is will kept, clean, and has very nice decor. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich, her cousin, the fish and chips, and I ordered the chili cheese omelette. All three meals were delicious. This place is a gem. We will definitely be back in the near future.“

“Delicious food and smoothies! I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was the best I’ve found. The honey mustard salad dressing on my green salad was amazing. My husband was actually adding it to his chicken sandwich. We enjoyed the vegetable split pea soup down to the last drop. This lovely little restaurant has a very friendly vibe and we could hear repeat customers engaging the owner in conversation and laughter. We plan to become repeat customers too.“

“I love this spot! Great little breakfast break on my morning walk.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating of my wife's gluten allergy(I grabber her breakfast to go).

I got avocado toast with poached eggs. Very fresh, cooked to perfection. A refreshing start to my day, definitely.

I plan on coming back for a soup and sandwich for lunch someday soon and walking it off in the park after..they seem to have a great deal!

Atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Lots of folks having nice little meetups and saying good morning to each other. Seems like a great place to be a regular.

The bartender couldn't have been any more of a delight. She even had them make a patty for my service dog. I met an amazing vet Darren and his lady Becca. Hi Becca and Darren. I think we are going to be great boat friends. I have a 17 foot Boston whaler a Montauk fishing boat and and need other fishermen/women to take it out. Looking forward to many days on the water. “Amarith Farmhouse Restaurant & Pie Shoppe is a casual farm-to-table spot with a big menu, made-from-scratch dishes, fried chicken, and pies. They also have a farm where some of the restaurant's ingredients come from, which was pretty neat. They even let us try watermelon from the farm. In addition to the food, they also had lots of pies and even frozen chicken pot pies in the fridge/freezer.

You order at the front, and they bring the food out for you. The restaurant had a chill vibe with light music in the background. Just know that they can run out of items quite early. We went on a Friday around 6:30pm, and I wanted to try the Short Rib Pasta, but they didn't have it.

* Bone-in Fried Chicken 5/5 - This came out hot with crispy skin and a crunchy texture while still being light and juicy. I was thinking, it's just fried chicken, but it ended up being pretty good. You also get 2 sides to go with it.

*Brussel Sprouts side 4/5 - These tasted decent with a good texture.“
