“Woody's Diner is definitely a spot worth checking out! Our experience there was nothing short of fantastic. Our server, Keelyn, was an absolute gem. Not only was she super attentive, but she also took the time to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. She even went the extra mile by providing recommendations and popular choices from the menu, which we really appreciated. Speaking of the menu, the food was outstanding. I opted for their signature omelette, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Not only was it a generous portion size, but it was also bursting with flavor without tasting greasy or heavy. My wife decided to go with the pancakes, and she was equally impressed. They were fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. One thing that really stood out to us was the family-friendly atmosphere. Not only did they have coloring crayons available for our toddler, but Keelyn also suggested some nearby family activities we could enjoy after our meal, which was a nice touch. Overall, Woody's Diner exceeded our expectations in every way. From the attentive service to the delicious food and cozy ambiance, we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. “I love this place it's been so long since we came here. I was craving a delicious breakfast today so suggested Harbor House. What can I say, been coming here for like 20 years wow that's such a long time! It doesn't even feel like that long, this place is amazing. I love their corn beef hash and eggs, I always have them make it extra crispy, the hash browns extra crispy and I got a side of extra crispy bacon. I remember they used to have the home style potatoes if I remember correctly, but it's been a while since we have been here so sort of forgot. I also had a coke with grenadine so delicious. My husband ordered the Denver Omelette with cheese with hash browns and coffee. Was a nice brunch/lunch. Usually this place is always packed with lines out the door. Today it wasn't too busy maybe we came at the off time of day. The parking lot is small and is a little crazy when it is busy but I love that it's near Sunset Beach. I love coming down here such a beautiful drive and area. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Brought our drinks and food out quickly. I love the ambiance here with all the posters of old movies and the pictures of the movie stars on the walls, the lights too, they have posters hanging on the sealing's as well. Where we sat at the top part in the back area they have these old bingo games all over the walls to which I love. Nice that they haven't changed anything for the last 25 years. Still cool atmosphere I forever love. We usually always sit in the top area of the back of the restaurant so we can overlook everything and have a private sort of area which is nice. All the food here is delicious! I highly recommend this place if you haven't been here before. 5 stars for great service, delicious food, cool atmosphere and for being one of my favorite breakfast places to go for so many years! “Egg Heaven is reopened and good as ever! My partner and I had breakfast at Egg Heaven Cafe the other day and it was worth the wait for them to re-open. The place was pretty busy and we had to wait a little bit to be seated but, it was worth the wait. “George's 50s diner is everything a diner should be. Breakfast, burgers, fries, shakes, pies and burritos? Yes you read that right, George's not only serves all the usual diner standards, but they also serve some Mexican offerings too, like breakfast burritos and chorizo and eggs. Everything on the menu is delicious and George (the owner and chef) and Helen (front of house) make sure that everyone feels like family. On this lunch visit with my father I had the 62 Thunderbird Burger (with strips of green Ortega chiles), onion rings and a bottomless iced tea. The burger comes partly deconstructed on the plate. The leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles come on the side so that you can add only what you like onto the burger. A very thoughtful touch. My father had the chorizo and egg breakfast plate with beans, rice, tortillas (corn or flour) and a bottomless coffee. All the ingredients are high quality, expertly cooked and generously portioned. The mozzarella sticks were good and so was the cheesy bread. Service was good they were friendly. We got there just in time because a big group came in as we were almost done. “Used to be deliscious. It was sub-par when we went on Sunday morning. Grilled cheese had only 1 single cheese, not even the deli slice but the kind that barely melts. So there was a little cheese in the middle and just thick bread on the sides... it was dry as heck and barely toasted! The fries were cold. My friends burger was drenched in sauce- and she only got a handful of fries when she ordered a side. It was not great at all. And rather pricey. I ordered a grilled cheese combo and a side of zucchini to share, and it was $ 18. Too bad. Won't be going here again.“

“I had breakfast at Woody's during a recent trip. OMG, if you want a fabulous treat that's not too unhealthy try the Paradise French toast! A huge portion of French toast sprinkled with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut and powdered sugar! I'm pretty tiny but I wolfed down the entire thing, as my photos will attest! I was there for quite some time and the server was friendly and helpful, providing just the right amount of checking in on the meal. It's a diner so the ambience reflects that. “I come to this Denny's sometimes 4 days a week and always around the same time (2-4 am) and always order the same thing (coffee and lumberjack slam with eggs over medium white toast and upgraded pancakes to the salted caramel banana pancakes). By now as soon as I walk through the door , I am always greeted warmly by the same gentlemen (except on Saturdays when there is a lovely woman serving me) By now I never need to repeat what I'm getting because they already know. And are letting me know they'll put in my order. I love that, they are always attentive and by the time I'm out of the restroom, my coffee is waiting for me to fix up with French vanilla creamer and sugar and spoon there for me to mix in. The food is always exactly how I like and very tasty especially the hash browns .....the atmosphere is always quiet with 2 or 3 other diners.
