On this lunch visit with my father I had the 62 Thunderbird Burger (with strips of green Ortega chiles), onion rings and a bottomless iced tea. The burger comes partly deconstructed on the plate. The leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles come on the side so that you can add only what you like onto the burger. A very thoughtful touch. My father had the chorizo and egg breakfast plate with beans, rice, tortillas (corn or flour) and a bottomless coffee. All the ingredients are high quality, expertly cooked and generously portioned. “I love this place it's been so long since we came here. I was craving a delicious breakfast today so suggested Harbor House. What can I say, been coming here for like 20 years wow that's such a long time! It doesn't even feel like that long, this place is amazing. I love their corn beef hash and eggs, I always have them make it extra crispy, the hash browns extra crispy and I got a side of extra crispy bacon. I remember they used to have the home style potatoes if I remember correctly, but it's been a while since we have been here so sort of forgot. I also had a coke with grenadine so delicious. Today it wasn't too busy maybe we came at the off time of day. The parking lot is small and is a little crazy when it is busy but I love that it's near Sunset Beach. The bar is dark with natural woods a small dance floor. In the evening it has its own entry The parking lot has space for both cars and big rig trucks. It's not overly thick but thick enough to easily drink with the straw even though it had small oreo chunks. We got our food in less than 10 minutes, and even though we went 30 minutes before closing time, our waiter, Anthony, encouraged us to take as much time as we needed. Anthony was an excellent waiter. He was nice, always checked up on us to see how we were doing, and if we needed anything, he made sure he took care of everything.
