“Egg Heaven is reopened and good as ever! My partner and I had breakfast at Egg Heaven Cafe the other day and it was worth the wait for them to re-open. The place was pretty busy and we had to wait a little bit to be seated but, it was worth the wait. The waitresses were ALL very friendly, there were lots of food selections, including vegetarian and, the food was very good! If you're looking for a hidden neighborhood 'go to' restaurant, this is your place.“

“George's 50s diner is everything a diner should be. Breakfast, burgers, fries, shakes, pies and burritos? Yes you read that right, George's not only serves all the usual diner standards, but they also serve some Mexican offerings too, like breakfast burritos and chorizo and eggs. Everything on the menu is delicious and George (the owner and chef) and Helen (front of house) make sure that everyone feels like family. On this lunch visit with my father I had the 62 Thunderbird Burger (with strips of green Ortega chiles), onion rings and a bottomless iced tea. The burger comes partly deconstructed on the plate. The leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles come on the side so that you can add only what you like onto the burger. A very thoughtful touch. My father had the chorizo and egg breakfast plate with beans, rice, tortillas (corn or flour) and a bottomless coffee. All the ingredients are high quality, expertly cooked and generously portioned. Don't miss the opportunity to have some great food and great service with a slice of history.“
“We were greeted properly and had our choice of seating upon entering. The restaurant was quietly busy, but we felt attended to throughout our meal. The scone was buttery, moist and delicious. We ordered crab cakes and roast beef hash. Both were excellent choices- seasoned well with crispy edges!“

There's another Denny's closer to me, but this one on Bellflower is far superior in terms of service to the one on Carson.Parking: If they're busy, you may have to do a little walking, but there are plenty of spaces to park for free.Wheelchair accessibility: The front doors can be challenging to open because of air pressure created by the small ante-room, but there's plenty of space.“
“Used to be deliscious. It was sub-par when we went on Sunday morning. Grilled cheese had only 1 single cheese, not even the deli slice but the kind that barely melts. So there was a little cheese in the middle and just thick bread on the sides... it was dry as heck and barely toasted! The fries were cold. My friends burger was drenched in sauce- and she only got a handful of fries when she ordered a side. It was not great at all. And rather pricey. I ordered a grilled cheese combo and a side of zucchini to share, and it was $ 18. Too bad. Won't be going here again.“
“Everything was great. Service was attentive and sweet. Menu was fine, food met or exceeded our expectations. Prices were a little high considering the quality and style of restaurant. Never been to a place that charged $4 for a soft drink... it's like 5¢ a glass overhead. But my kids had a great time and our whole family was able to enjoy their time so that is a pretty great deal!“
