“I want to take this time to applaud & complement 2 things. First I want to acknowledge Minnie, the manager in charged during my visit. She was very polite, warm & professional. She made sure my coffee is fresh & super attentive. Also the crews, David & Mari, they were very attentive & polite. Second, the place was very clean & cozy. “This year we chose Black Bear diner for the location of our annual Chrispen Team Pumpkin Pie giveaway, and we couldn't have been more impressed. The manager Isaid was amazing from the start helping me plan the event and order hundreds of pies. The large patio provided a private and cheerful atmosphere and was the perfect spot for the event. Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. All of our clients raved about how delicious the pies were and loved the convenient location. We can't wait to come back next year!“

“We had a great dinner here tonight. excellent preparation of a sirloin for wifey and great chicken fried steaks for me. I have had the pot roast elsewhere would recommend it. I noticed the spaghetti dinner was not on the menu. They have 24 hours again, breakfast all day as well. Location is handy to a few places we go. will remember it's there“

“This place is becoming new favorite lunch spot. The chefs taquito special was absolutely amazing and the portions were great. Highly recommend the chicken feta wrap and the fresh squeezed orange juice. Great location with outdoor seating and huge menu.“

“We love going there at least 3 to 4 times a week everyone is really friendly and welcoming especially the manager Velia Campos she told me about the air oven and we love the chicken highly recommend Whittier Denny’s“

“Charming cafe/diner, excellent for breakfast/brunch. Staff is nice and fast with their service.
I ordered the coffee cup , best diner coffee I had yet.
I also ordered tier Vanilla Cinnamon French Toast, nice and fluffy. Sweet with hot syrup. Taste so good.

“A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. Served so hot had to let our reuben and hamberger cool a bit. Large menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar. \n\nGot time to kill. Cross the street to the free Hilbert Museum of pastels, watercolors, oil, and a collection of early portable radios too?“

“Diner with a Mexican twist. We went there for breakfast and the food was great at a reasonable price. chilaquiles divorciados con arrachera, walnut French toast, pozole, and even the waffle were very tasty and generously served. Don’t sleep on their limonada ( freshly made), the horchata and cafe de olla. The pics don’t do it justice.“

“Magaly & Eduardo, I want to thank you for our belated Valentine's Day dinners that we had on Monday, Feb. 21st. My husband and I both ordered the 4 Course Dinners for the 1st time. “I visited dennys breakfast it was a busy day. My server was Agustin H. He was very attentive. Kept my coffe cup full. And was always smiling no matter how busy he was.he was the best server I ever had. I definitely recommend this place. And ask for Agustin to get the best service you can ever get.“
