A classic 50's motif like a "Ruby's" style diner. Great food, service, and really good coffee (with refills no extra charge). I had the Kaye's special omelette with home fried potatoes and sour dough bread. This place should be more busy than it was, in my opinion. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey, but that's the sign of the times, and I'm sure the rent on touristy "Main Street" Garden Grove doesn't help the overhead. So being a "regular" would get costly. I saw this place when looking for a breakfast spot in the area, since I live about an hour away. First things first, it exceeded expectations. Far exceeded.My wife and I split a bacon and cheddar omelette, requested well-done, and received it as requested.It came with home fries (also could choose cottage cheese or hash browns), and toast (we picked sourdough). If you’re looking for a traditional American breakfast selection with great customer service, this is your place. Located on historic Main Street in Garden Grove, this diner offers a good selection of breakfast platters for everyone. I personally liked Kaye’s Omelette with a side of the home fries. Coffee is also good with unlimited refills. Mariana was our server and she was very welcoming, attentive and friendly, as is all the staff.
