“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! And say Hi to Monja from Mark and Dianne from Arizona!“

“Wow! What a find! Had lunch at Tomo Sushi and everything was just so genuinely good. I ordered the cucumber salad and the sashimi roll, and the chef surprised me with complimentary crab tempura. OMG… that crab tempura was incredible — the flavor just burst in your mouth.

And the miso soup? Definitely a winner. Not lukewarm like so many places… I mean actually hot, fresh, rich, and flavorful. You could really taste the care in it.

The sashimi roll was amazing too — “flavorful” honestly doesn’t even describe it. The fish tasted super fresh.

The restaurant itself is quiet and comfortable, with two chefs and one server, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing felt forced or over-the-top… just genuine hospitality and really good food.

If you’ve never been here, honestly make the trip just to try it. Based only on what I tasted today, I’d absolutely come back again 🤗🍣🌹“

“Haidilao Hot Pot was a very great place for dinner. The service was very quick, employees were patient and respectful. Our server Jacob asked to reopen their kitchen just to make us some dessert even though it was after hours. He also gave us a complimentary food option in case they weren't able to make the dessert for us. The service is unbelievably nice. I would come again for dinner.“

“Just ate here today for the first time and the pizza was amazing!! I ordered the bbq chicken and my friend got pepperoni. The crust was insanely delicious and crispy! “Amazing music, and an even kinder server! Reina took great care of us and was very patient. The owner is also very visible and friendly in the establishment. This is easily the best indian food I've had in OC. Generous portions, hospitable attitude, and 'refillable' rice! Not too expensive either given the portion size, SO worth it. DONT WALK RUNNNN here!!! All the spice variants are so accessible from mild to medium to spicy- There's also indian spicy (the hottest level) which I got, and it was PROPERLY spicy. Mild was not spicy at all if you don't want that. Seriously though, fabulous place, workers, and owner. Lovely.“

“Second visit to Limoncello and want to say the food is excellent in every way. Last night I had Arugula salad (very lemony dressing), the Risotto (outstanding) and chocolate gelato which was VERY chocolate. Topped with a nice wine. All Excellent. As for atmosphere, lots of large parties there last night celebrating Christmas and birthdays so was quite noisy, but 'tis the season. Highly recommend Limoncello. Food and service are excellent and above average. Menu is extensive with very different and interesting options. If they would have served a shot of Limoncello after dinner I would have thought I was dining in Italy.“

“We didnt have a reservation but got lucky we only had to wait 10 ish minutes and they called us. We really love the pizzas here and get the mushroom pizza with the spicy pepperoni (its both called something different on the menu but thats essentially what it is) and love to pair it off with nice wine selections.
It is mostly high top seating which isnt my favorite but its fine. It is sort of cramped in there but had space enough to get by tables. Its also kind of loud in there but from general speaking noise.“

The food was great, the cheese bread with garlic and Tiramisu were especially notable. We paid under $80 (before tip) for two meals, drinks, the cheese bread side, and desert, and one of the meals was the special which included a salad for $30. Plenty of food, very good food, cute and efficient restaurant, and a great price (let alone for being in Irvine these days). 10/10 would eat at again.“

“So delicious! Where else can you get vegan tikka masala, butter tofu, saag tofu.. tell me, I wanna know! So hard to find. So pleased they offer so many vegan options beyond the normal chana, dal, bhindi, aloo we usually get. I missed having a creamy, rich tikka! The tofu butter masala was my favorite (at least I think I was that one - the darker orange one). Closest to a tikka one might have had before going vegan. Absolutely loved it. Called and confirmed everything on the "Indian Vegan Cafe" menu is 100% vegan. I bet you can also just go to Southern Spice and sit down and order it. I'll have to try someday. I did pickup after placing a GrubHub order - be warned, it seemed to take longer than the non vegan orders, wasn't ready quite when the app said it was. Not really a "ghost kitchen"... really just Southern Spice's vegan menu but separated into a different name for ordering. “Hi. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had fish with shrimp (creole on top) . I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“
