Rooster Tea is a charming little tea shop in Costa Mesa with a lot of personality packed into a small space.
The first thing you’ll notice is the huge rooster mural right when you walk in. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details that give it a cozy and welcoming vibe.

Rooster Tea had a nice selection of teas available. Their drinks were really sweet here, especially the fruit teas. I should have gotten 50-75% sweet. The drinks were better after I diluted the milk tea with milk and the fruit teas with 3x water.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The boba is amazing, flavors are delicious, and the staff are so kind. I've been coming here for 2 years and nothing beats Rooster tea house. My go tos are any of the fruit green teas with boba. Lately I've been loving the Strawberry and Peach. You can adjust sweetness too.
They also have little ice cream tubs which are the best flavors. LOVE the black sesame and thai tea.
