Market Broiler Reviews
I don't appreciate a service charge for using a credit card. That's their cost of doing business. They didn't tell me before I ordered. I've been going there 10 plus years and always paid cash. They never offered me any cash discount before this new additional fee schedule took effect.
Food is absolutely amazing.
I walked in on Mothers Day to celebrate the holiday with no reservation asking if I could have a specific booth by the window. I was told that parties of 2 or more and those with reservations would take precedence so my chances of getting it were slim. I told the host that for me it was worth a shot of waiting to see because my Mom is no longer here with me and it was the place that we used to sit in. Based on the reviews, Market Broiler is a restaurant located in Huntington Beach that recently remodeled and had a grand opening. The special meal served was California Spiny Lobster with scallops and shrimps, cheese mash potatoes, and steamed vegetables. Guests enjoyed steak and coconut shrimps, with the steaks cooked wonderfully but having some toughness. The shrimp and coconut dip were well enjoyed. The red potatoes and vegetables were amazing and nicely par boiled. Other meals included fish and chips, fish of the sea, ahi nachos with a lot of tuna and flavor, Fettuccini Alfredo with Crab, and tasty Mahi tacos. The clam chowder and poke are also good. The bar no longer has Negra Modelo on tap. The service is very attentive, with servers like Cassie and Brian providing great care. The food is fresh, delicious, and comes promptly. This location is considered much better than the Orange location, with a super chill atmosphere and an amazing happy hour. Guests recommend getting there early on a weekend.
