“Just walked out of here.... Food was great! Service was great.. very friendly and grateful for your business! Prices are great! Very clean ! Fast service even though you can tell the food is freshly made! Will definitely come back! Thank you!“
“I've been going here since they've opened and this is by far the best Lebanese food around! It makes you feel like you've had a home-cooked meal the owner. Bruno was beyond nice and welcoming. It's so refreshing when the food matches the excellent service. I would highly recommend this place my kids love the food as well. It's always a hit.“
“I go here pretty much every Sunday to pick up lunch for myself and my family. Leah and Genaro have always been friendly and professional. Restaurant is always clean and there’s always more than a handful of people dining in. The food is cooked to order so I pretty fresh and it tastes great! Wait time for food is what you would expect and food always comes out hot.I suggest you stop by and give them a try…I think you’ll be happy you did.“
“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.“
“This was a great gem to find in westminster! My husband and I were on a business trip and enjoyed the food and hospitality so much we returned the next day and brought a friend. We absolutely LOVED the falafel, kibbeh, and humus the most. We also really enjoyed the chicken kebab and beef shawarma. My favorite meat was a chicken they made special for the dinner buffet. I was so disappointed to learn it wasn't a menu item that could be ordered ?. I also liked the Barbosa dessert it as s coconut flavor without being over powering and the lentil soup was also AMAZING so creamy and smooth. Definitely top tier lentil soup he swears its just blended lentils but there must be some magical ingredients or process because that lentil soup was SOOO SMOOTH. ("Just like the ocean under the moon" silently singing Santanas song withbthe mtch box 20 guy in my head now)Ahmed the owner was really nice and so was the Mexican lady working for him. I don't remember her name, but we were thankful she spoke Spanish as when we came in the forst time, the only two people there were her and another guy who only spoke Russian. Neither had good English but luckily my husband spoke enough Spanish and we pointed at the menu items and were able to order. Ahmed speaks fairly good English and so did the lady who was their the next day. This food was so yummy we would come back even if no one spoke english or spanish. We will definitely be back again. It's been a while since I've had really good falafel, so that was a super pleasant surpise. The venue is small, only about 6 or so tables that seat about 4 each. They do have a high chair if needed but no changing table in the bathroom. I wouldn't call this easily wheelchair accessible as the threshold is a bit high, and the space between tables is a bit limited. It would be challenging to maneuver through if all the tables are full.I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for yummy Mediterranean food and are not afraid of language differences. ?“
“When I walked in, I wasn't too sure about the place. However, the owner was extremely nice and helpful. Then, I was presently surprised with some of the best kabobs I have eaten. They take great pride in their cooking. This is a good find, especially if you're like me and tired of fast food chains.“
“A lovely place with delicious food. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. We ordered a large serving of their Believe Stew to go, it was that good (and it comes on most of the dishes on this menu).Generally Caribbean, they have a wide variety of salads, bowls, and tacos. Definitely worth trying their menu here. This faces a parking lot that is extremely busy. Looking for parking at some times of day might be difficult.“
“Wow! Such a nice and classy restaurant/hookah spot! We wanted some hookah so looked up nearby spots! We went in without a reservation on Saturday night. Hookah is served only after 6 pm. They have limited flavors but the hookah itself was great! I got the ground beef kebob plate (koobideh) with no rice because I'm on keto. I also asked for no dressing but a side of olive oil and lemon juice. They brought out my plate exactly as I ordered. The kebob was soo juicy and delicious! Everything was great! They even have a full bar so you can order alcohol or tea! Will definitely be back when we are in the area again!“
“Because I missed eating Arabic food in America, I immediately went for a walk by chance to this restaurant. It is an ancient Eastern Arab charm of Lebanese food with international standardsReception girl is not niceThe waitress who took the order was very nice and cheerfulAs for dessert, it is necessary to try it after eatingTry Crumble Baklava with ice cream, it is very delicious“
“This humble takeout eatery serves more authentic Turkish coffee than any Mediterranean restaurants I've found in SoCal. The coffee so thick it looks like mud at the bottom of your cup---PERFECTIONThe establishment has a talent for making bread. The crust of our pizza was soft and chewy on the inside while light and crispy on the outside. That said, the Hawaiian pizza was topped with canned pineapple (making it overly sweet) while the accompanied ham seemed to have been packaged meat and, therefore, a bit underwhelming in taste. Even so, the crust was sovery good that I'm willing to come back to try other pizzas on the menu“
“We ordered the gyro plate with Greek salad, garlic potatoes and humus. Everything was fresh with great flavors. The spicy cilantro was a little bit spicy but had excellent flavor. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Would definitely recommend pita pita.“
“Karina was a great cashier and very helpful. Excellent customer service. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. Mac and cheese was amazing as well. Love that they have vegetarian options as well. Overall, I'm super impressed with this location. Thanks for the great meal! I'll definitely be back again to try more of the menu.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower tenders, kale slaw, toast, fries, and shakes.Parking: Huge parking lot and shopping center.“
“Ambience, food and hospitality were amazing. Loved the food and the simplicity. Quantity and taste was worth coming back again. We had Dal Makhani, Aloo kulcha and Dahi bhalla. Would love to come back again to try other vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Dal Makhani and Aloo kulcha were out of this world.“
“We just ordered DoorDash but only ended up receiving 1 of our 2 orders. I called the store and Paul was quick to fix the situation. Appreciate the customer service!Food wise, I used to live in Nashville and this hot chicken is legit. Tenders and fries are the way to go!“
“Wow, small but powerful, very tasty and large portion. The falafel were very crispy and tender, very traditional flavor. The tahini and other sauces very well done. The chicken Shawarma bowl was huge, not traditional shaved Shawarma, but very good nonetheless. All in all, a very nice addition to the lab, and a worthwhile place to stop for Mediterranean type food.“
“THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!!!!! located inside smart kitchens in an Industrial area. Very unassuming, but the food is FANTASTIC!! Grape leaves with meat served as they should be, warm. The chicken Shwarma made me compare it my grandmothers. highly recommended.“
“We ordered the sloppy Zach and the beefy Zach. They take pride in making the sandwiches. Everything about the sandwiches was balanced between the flavor and just the right amount of spice. The sandwiches was not too greasy and brioche was pillow-y. The wait was worth it. Until next time.“
“Good portion size and flavors. A bit pricey but everything is nowadays. The fries are extra crispy which is fine but not everyone likes it like that. The plates with fries and cheese should be eaten immediately since the cheese tastes thick after about 1 hour.“
“I’ve been ordering off of DoorDash and honestly this is my new favorite place the 1st time ordered the food blew my mind. Even my mother who’s picky on certain foods was also amazed. I found my new favorite place.Kid-friendliness: has kid friendly foods fish and chips and chicken nuggets.“
“This was my first time. I was near the neighborhood and was looking for restaurant recommendations. I also saw it in Rock Star Eater’s channel. I had the lunch special. The food was delicious. I loved the lentil soup, the rice and the red sauce. The bread was freshly made. Will definitely go again, I need to try other dishes.“
“Love this place ! The service was amazing and the food , mamma Mia soooo good , authentic Lebanese food , the environment inside the dinning room is so romantic and calm , really well designed, they have heaters everywhere so you never will be cold here , see you soon guys and thx for this nice Lebanese “
“Yo, this food was absolutely amazing! My friend and I couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was the whole time. The food was hot, and fresh, but that bread. That bread is so fluffy, light, and tasty! I love this place! One of the best spots!“
“SOOOO GOOD! We decided to try this place on our way from LA back home to San Diego. Let me start by saying that we ate a TON of Persian food in glendale/LA and none of their Koobideh was as good as this place. Even my husband who often says “I can make this better at home,” admitted this as one of the best Koobideh in Southern California.“
“My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place and are frequent visitors! This is one of the only places that has great tabbouleh and turkish salad! I would recommend to call ahead so you can pick up your order quick, and don't forget to ask for the yogurt sauce! It pairs amazingly well with the pita bread. Lots of room to dine in, but they also get a lot of togo orders.“
“It's a small hotel with a friendly staff and exceptional taste. I savored a delightful zinger burger and chips, followed by a memorable papri chat reminiscent of Karachi's Burns Road. I'm giving it a well-deserved 5-star rating ⭐️, considering the reasonable price.“
“this place has consistently good pizza. Growing up I was never allowed to eat pepperoni pizza since it was not Halal, and once i was able to find Halal pepperoni, it was still not that appetizing. All that changed with big Al’s pizza. Their beef brisket used to be my favorite, but now I like the simple pepperoni. The saltiness of the pepperoni complements the cheese and sauce so well. The crust is amazing and is chewy yet crispy. just recently I became pregnant and could not tolerate any food during my first and second trimester however, big Al’s pepperoni pizza saved me as it was one of the only foods I could eat. It was delicious and provided me some nutrition as well and I’m sure when my baby grows up inshallah, he too will love big Al’s pizza.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Best Middle Eastern restaurant in town!! It’s my favorite so far in the Area. It was my first time to try it and definitely will be my favorite spot every time I visit LA. Shawarma was so delicious and kufta was sooo good. Baklava was so fresh and delicious. Also You definitely need to try the lemon mint too. They are really friendly and the owner came to check on us couple times to make sure everything is good.“
“Amazing food! My wife and I stopped by for lunch. The seating area is very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. We were helped by Yare. She explained everything on the menu and was very helpful in picking the right dish for us. We ordered a rice bowl with a lime tasting salad of cucumbers and tomato topped with shredded chicken and beef plus pita bread! Thank you for the great experience Yare!!!“
“The most delicious, freshly prepared, juicy, well seasoned chicken breast sandwich I've ever had! It was great. At first, I thought it was burned because it was a really dark brown. But that's because it was saturated in seasoning. I chose the hot one and it was hot! Took a few minutes to sink in. The sauce that came with it looks like thousand island dressing but doesn't taste like it. Kinda hard to describe the taste except it Kinda cools down the intense heat and pairs well with the chicken. I really enjoyed my sandwich and I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower wings substitute for chicken“
“Delicious food and excellent service! The staff was super helpful and really took a lot of pride in their work and really helped us with the food choices. The wine in Indian restaurants is usually not up to par but not this place. All in all, wonderful place with good ambiance. Would go back again!!“
“Dave's Hot Chicken delivers an unforgettable experience. Their succulent chicken, cooked to perfection with a fiery kick, leaves taste buds tingling with delight. The crispy toast serves as the ideal complement, enhancing every savory bite. And let's not forget about the French fries - a crispy, golden indulgence that adds the perfect crunch to every meal. From the first bite to the last, Dave's Hot Chicken satisfies cravings and leaves patrons craving more.“
“We finally got to try this place with legendary roots in New York. The food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty good. We had the small combo plate with rice, vegetables and choices of proteins. It was a delicious and balanced lunch. We have a young puppy so we appreciate the outdoor seating area.Parking: There are plenty of free parking at this large shopping center.“
“Halal food in Long beach! Don't be fooled by the outside - there's Mexican food here but also middle Eastern food too, so there are healthy options if you don't want a bunch of Cheetos on your food for example. I always liked the food here even before it was Fatima's, and the quality has remained the same! It's a small venue so you probably want to take your food to go, but for the price and quality it can't be beat!“
“For my first visit, it was a very pleasant experience. I was seated promptly, and ordering plates was quite easy, despite never having ordered through a web browser before. One staff member did not speak English and one guy was mistaken about the parking validation of 2 hours, its only free for the first hour. They have corn tortillas, but were sold out when I was there; not that I would have ordered any in a KBBQ, but it's a nice accomodation in my opinion.Beers were nice and cold and did not have foam. The meat was also fresh and I sampled some of the seafood selections as well, those were good. The hot sauce was also excellent.“
“Darya Persian Restaurant in Orange County offers a dining experience that is generally commendable, catering to those who appreciate authentic Persian cuisine. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Barg and Chicken Kabob, both of which were cooked to perfection, offering a symphony of flavors that delighted the palate. However, it's worth noting that the Koobideh Kabob fell short of expectations. Traditionally known for its tenderness and juiciness, the Koobideh served during my visit was unfortunately not up to the mark in these aspects, and its taste diverged from the traditional flavor profile one would anticipate. Despite this, the overall experience at Darya Persian Restaurant was positive, making it a worthy destination for enthusiasts of Persian cuisine in Orange County.“
“We went here after a night at the beach. I had this before in SF but still wanted to check this one out. I got the combo platter with chicken and beef. I saw some complaints on here about the portions but I'ma a big dude and it was definitely enough for me. My wife got the sandwich and fries. Everything worked out. I would return if in the area.“
“If they gave half stars, I'd give it a 3 1/2. The food was good, which is most important. But there could've been more coleslaw on the chicken sandwich, and in my opinion every meal should come with pickles. The atmosphere and customer service were lacking. Every restaurant owner should go to In-N-Out Burger and model their customer service after them--welcome me and my family into the restaurant, ask us how we are enjoying our meal and if we need anything else, and thank us on the way out for paying $50 for four sandwiches. The temperature inside the restaurant was sweltering hot, the bathrooms were gross and unkept, and the soda machine well was overflowing and messy. There was a lot of employees standing around, which should never be the case.“
“I was very satisfied with the hefty portion of Buffalo Loaded Fries. Although the taste wasn't anything special, it was still a solid choice to fill up on. I'll be back to try other menu options that seem interesting. The service was fast too. The only downsides were that it was somewhat expensive and the Buffalo sauce upset my stomach.“
“Indigo is an absolute must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts! The chicken Tika Masala, garlic naan, and chicken wings were excellent, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. The cozy ambiance and friendly service make it the perfect spot for a delightful dining experience or take-out. Highly recommend!“
