visiting the area, always trust Denny's for a good breakfast
Server makes all the difference.
1st visit, Danny was our server.
Can't say enough good things about him, so polite and friendly and checked on us numerous times.
2nd visit, the food was good but the service was sub par.
Not once, except to bring the bill did she show up.
Always need a refill on water but got asked or had a chance to ask.
Danny refilled my water without me even asking.

I wish I got the name if my waitress but she was incredibly attentive and nice, last night Monday before they closed for cleaning from 12:30am-4am. She didn't rush me out, got me everything I needed, kept my drinks flowing, and didn't judge when I ordered two meals just for me. Based on the reviews, Denny's Restaurant offers great service and amazing food. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to get to know customers. One waiter was described as a champ, staying on top of orders for a party of 14, keeping drinks full, and being patient with kids. The store supervisor, Lael, was also present and helpful. The food arrives hot and fresh tasting, with options like the egg white omelette with spinach, tomato, onion and mushrooms with English muffin, or the bacon and eggs. The ice cream and shakes are good. The inside is spacious with a classic Denny's vibe. The location in Huntington Beach on Beach Blvd is a great location, though the food vs price is a little on the high side due to the area. One guest had a free birthday meal of a small grand slam. Overall, it is a solid breakfast spot where guests leave full and happy, and many will definitely be stopping back by again soon.
