Our waitress Norma we had is hard working, always willing to go beyond expectations on making sure the order is correct & always a pleasure to have her serving us. “I was at Heritage to celebrate a special occasion — the restaurant was cozy and homey. The kitchen was right in front of us, so the whole room was filled with different aromas. Both the service and food were great. The first few courses were delicious, adding a bit of extra excitement to the meal. That said, for a restaurant charging $195/person with a Michelin star, serving food and beverages on a cracked plate and in a chipped cup felt off. When I asked the staff about it, she gave me a smirk and downplayed it with some excuses and brushed it off. Better quality control may be needed as your guests deserve better.“

“This is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had fishes always fresh and they make everything in store right in front of you. Everything is really crispy and their tartar sauce is delightful. It’s not sour not sweet not bland but perfect. Come eat at union Jack, fish and chips. The best place ever the fish is also really crispy.“

“Had the grilled fish sandwich. It was a nice piece of the catch of the day. It was grilled perfect. It was placed on a fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, onion and a very good sauce. It was served with fries. We upgraded it to truffle parmesean fries. They were delicious. Our server was very good. The food came quickly. We will go back!“

The dim sum was excellent—har gow and shumai were delicate and flavorful, and the Peking duck was crispy and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, and the dishes came out hot and well-presented. Clean, comfortable dining room with a good variety of options. Portions were generous and the quality stood out. We’ve been patrons since it opened and would even order takeout (even old-fashioneds to go!) during the pandemic. A splurge but absolutely worth it.“

“We had a really nice experience! The side of the restaurant has enough space for a few tables to dine in, and it felt cozy. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I liked that they had sauces and water available right at the tables for self-service.

We dined in, and everything came out fast! We spent around $40 for a chicken bowl, two sushi rolls, and two miso soups ,perfect for two adults and a toddler. The food was amazing! My husband said the teriyaki chicken was really good, and I agree. the chicken was juicy, not dry at all. The salmon sushi was good too, just a little warm for my husband’s liking, but overall, everything had great flavor.

The music was a fun surprise, they were playing some techno, which we didn’t mind at all! It actually made the experience more fun. We even found ourselves dancing a little while eating. Definitely a place we’d come back to!“

“Carnicería MZT is an absolute gem in Paramount ca. The owner is incredibly friendly and always goes above and beyond—she makes a fresh ceviche and honestly, it beats a lot of other places around. Every time I’m craving seafood, this is the first place I think of.

Not only do they sell amazing ceviche, but they also have great seasonings and a delicious house salsa that seriously goes good on everything. You can tell everything is made with care and pride. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!“

Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. “We ordered 2 of the Mahi shrimp tacos with beans and rice and the shrimp salad. The food was pretty good. The lady that took our order was friendly and polite. The couple negatives would be as they were making our food, one of the workers were picking out the bad pieces of iceberg lettuce from the tray with their bare hands. The other was we didn't realize they did not include our rice and beans. We did not check our bag until we arrived home. It was only a couple $$ and after a long day of being on the road we didn't feel like going back. It was close to closing time for them and I do not doubt if we went back they would have fulfilled our order. I would just recommend on takeout to check your order before leaving and also for the employee to wear gloves.“

“Stopped in here with a huge appetite and craving some seafood. I asked the cashier what his favorite thing to eat here was. He said the Marlin tacos, but it’s not on the menu. I didn’t ask why, maybe because they don’t keep Marlin in stock often. I got an order of 3 for a total of $20.99. These were the best fish tacos I ever ate. Comes with all the right fixings and they fry the cheese to the delicious tortilla. 5/5 would come again just for those tacos.“
