“I cannot get enough of this place. This is my favorite fish and chip spot in California. Their quality crispiness and taste is so much better than anything else I’ve had nearby and I’m not even a seafood person, yet I still find myself coming back here all the time. This place also has extremely reasonable prices, if you ever crave anything like this, you won’t be disappointed here“

“I've been here several times and the food is always cooked perfectly and tastes great. I've ordered several different dishes, and my favorites have been their protein bowls and their battered fish tacos which are perfectly crispy. My only real complaint is that I wish it was spicier or that they offered a hot sauce (they might, but I've never seen it). I will say it does get a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for this quality and quantity of food. Also, the service has always been excellent and very helpful.“

“Fish and chips is always good, may not be th best that exists but it is very good. Prices are fair a bit more expensive than what I think it is worth but that's the economy in general. Overall I would recommend atleast giving it a try. Staff is always very courteous.“

“So glad I finally stopped by to try it out! I went with a lunch special 2 fish, onion rings and zucchini fries. Just wow! Best onion rings of my life!! The price was very reasonable! Its a small establishment so best for couples or small groups. It definitely has the vibe of the 90s I loved it! No crazy music playing. Just a good small diner. Look forward to coming back!“

Pretty much everything on the menu is a unique blend of flavors. They feature three different mole sauces which were all good. I had the trabajo with my dish which had delicious flavor. “This was really a great experience. The burgers were thicker than any typical theme park burger. The burger was prepared perfectly, with care. This was not another one of many burgers slapped on a grill an cooked en masse. The chicken sandwich was also very taste and prepared just right. This meal was a real treat. The gentleman taking our order was very cheerful and engaged. We spoke briefly with the chef while he was wrapping up our order. He was engaging and fun also. After our delicious meal I walked back up to tell them how pleased we were! A great spot!“

“We created our own crab boil with medium heat. I have to say it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten!! Fried fish was fried crispy, crispy enough to add to the delicious garlic butter. Our son had the calamari and enjoyed it very much.

“Used to enjoy coming here but recently there food has been declining. Chicken used to taste like it was actually grilled and would be very favorable. Now its taste frozen and has this wierd after taste. Their rice is a bit to chewy.Update* Huge improvement since last time I came. Which ever cook you have now, keep him. Food was amazing once again. Update: 3 years later and this place is still one of my favorite places 🥰
We ordered dinner from here today and last week. Food is always clean, light, and yummy! I love their bowls and tacos. My 5-year-old is addicted to their shrimp skewers!
Manager was awesome today. He service was outstanding!
By the way, portions are big compared to price! You feel full because of the amount of protein, and sometimes you have some food left in your bowl.

One thing I'd change about California Fish Grill is the plastic food containers... I believe healthy food should be served in healthier containers.
