“We came here because we were looking for good teriyaki in orange. It didn’t disappoint. Staff were so nice. Food was decent price, so yummy, and fast. They also have several different sauces. I really liked the habanero. It was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. I side was clean and small. I could hear them taking orders by phone as well. We recommended this place to our family.“

“Out of every single sushi I have tried, not a single one fails to disappoint me. Their crab meat is the best and it does not get better than theirs. Such low prices for VERY high quality and savory foods. Their poki bowls are the best too. Hot warm rice mixed with fresh cold seafood goes perfect with any weather. Especially when it is so savory and refreshing. The prices are shocking for how high quality their food is. Regarding prices, this place has the best seafood out of every single seafood place I have tried in all of Orange and in general. The variety of food is good, the small place is cute, I love the decorations, they are welcoming and their lighting is pretty, it is cozy. The people are always so kind when taking your order. When there is no one, your food comes quickly, very fast for the amount of workers.“

I had some questions and the chef was very helpful, he answered all my questions and I asked for some suggestions, he was spot on. I also ordered a cooked salmon dish. “Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. Very clean, fast service, and no on premises dining. Many restaurants and foods are featured. Location is in a light industrial area and well traveled. I recommend you try this place.“

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

I've eaten inside a few times too and the ambiance is fine. Definitely recommend if you are so the area“

“Good healthy filling food for good prices. Friendly and quick service. The atmosphere was nice and air conditioned. Dining area is clean but the sauce areas slightly dirty. The person manning the register was friendly. I got a katsu meal which was fried chicken, rice, and a mix of vegetables along with mac salad. The mac salad was $4.99 for 2 scoops and the katsu was like $10.99. It filled me up. I recommend“

However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. So I wanted to give credit, and the food was great.“

Stopped in with my friend to grab some dinner. Staff are very helpful and courteous, and assisted me to pick out something to eat. Customer service at an all time high. Dining area is either in use, or prepped for next use. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Will surely return many hungry times, as it is down the street from my house.
Definitely a 5-star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Hi I got spam masubi , teriyaki chicken with 2 scoops rice , macaroni salad, cabbage, & a small soda to drink . It’s my favorite Hawaiian bbq place in Tustin @ the district, fresh foods, nice service, friendly workers, nice atmosphere too I’ve been going here for years now.“

“While I was impressed by the portions for the price I was not impressed with a few things. Ordered a plate via the uber eats deal and it had a lot of promise. The portions as mentioned before were enormous and made me very happy, the quality of my katsu and rice were exceptional compared to the area but a few things were out of place. For starters the musubis shouldn't force you to get 2 I could see a two musubi combo with a drink for what I paid for (7 and change) but not having a single option for people who want to have one on its own is disappointing. Another thing I didn't agree with was the price of the mini plates which I probably would've gotten had they not been 14 and change (the price of a regular plate at other places). Minis should reflect the value proposition they aim to accommodate not be the same price of plates elsewhere. Also they for whatever reason while gave a lot of sauce had little to no substance. As someone who grew up on this I need the consistency and flavor that is standard and this was watered down and less concentrated as what I remember. If they made it thicker I'd get it I'd rather have 1 good one than 2 meh ones at best. Overall while I would try again I am a little taken aback by their way of doing things.

I'm conflicted about this process refine cause some stuff is done quite well and others very wrong. For example the prices and menu are close if not more expansive than others in the area but the food execution is a mixed bag at best musubis at best are thin and very lacking in sauce and nori quality. The mix plate and katsu are of varying levels of thickness sauce lacks consistency and food is either dry or bland in my 4 visits. I will give it that their service and speed is exceptional but the food has to back it up and it does and doesn't at the same time.“
