“I've been coming here for the past two years since returning to school nearby. For the price, the poke bowls are definitely worth it—the portions are generous and satisfying.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rice isn't always consistent. Being Asian, I definitely know my rice! 😂 Other than that, it's in a convenient location, the service is usually fast, and it's been one of my go-to spots.“

I had some questions and the chef was very helpful, he answered all my questions and I asked for some suggestions, he was spot on. I also ordered a cooked salmon dish. “Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

I've eaten inside a few times too and the ambiance is fine. Definitely recommend if you are so the area“

“I am from out of town i am here visiting my sister in the hospital. I was looking for a good teryaki plate for my wife and I. I read reviews and I decided to try hi bbq. The customer service was great,the price was good and the food was excellent. The ginger dressing was tangy and really good for the salad. The chicken and steak was flavorful and the macaroni salad was really good. Until my sister comes home this will be the place we will go to. If you are looking for really good food at a good price I highly recommend hi bbq. Also the staff was really nice and the place is very comfortable.“

Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. Very clean, fast service, and no on premises dining. Many restaurants and foods are featured. Location is in a light industrial area and well traveled. I recommend you try this place.“

However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. Stopped in with my friend to grab some dinner. Staff are very helpful and courteous, and assisted me to pick out something to eat. Customer service at an all time high. Dining area is either in use, or prepped for next use. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Will surely return many hungry times, as it is down the street from my house.
Definitely a 5-star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Very good fresh and delicious Poke“

“While I was impressed by the portions for the price I was not impressed with a few things. Ordered a plate via the uber eats deal and it had a lot of promise. The portions as mentioned before were enormous and made me very happy, the quality of my katsu and rice were exceptional compared to the area but a few things were out of place. For starters the musubis shouldn't force you to get 2 I could see a two musubi combo with a drink for what I paid for (7 and change) but not having a single option for people who want to have one on its own is disappointing. Another thing I didn't agree with was the price of the mini plates which I probably would've gotten had they not been 14 and change (the price of a regular plate at other places). Minis should reflect the value proposition they aim to accommodate not be the same price of plates elsewhere. Also they for whatever reason while gave a lot of sauce had little to no substance. As someone who grew up on this I need the consistency and flavor that is standard and this was watered down and less concentrated as what I remember. If they made it thicker I'd get it I'd rather have 1 good one than 2 meh ones at best. Overall while I would try again I am a little taken aback by their way of doing things.

I'm conflicted about this process refine cause some stuff is done quite well and others very wrong. For example the prices and menu are close if not more expansive than others in the area but the food execution is a mixed bag at best musubis at best are thin and very lacking in sauce and nori quality. The mix plate and katsu are of varying levels of thickness sauce lacks consistency and food is either dry or bland in my 4 visits. I will give it that their service and speed is exceptional but the food has to back it up and it does and doesn't at the same time.“

“Haven’t been to this location so I was able to try it today. I got the 2 scoops for $14.50! It was fresh and lots of topping options which was nice. Only the avocado is extra.

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.

I enjoyed it and would go back.“

The breakfast here is amazing, I'm a frequent orderer of the kalua pork breakfast burrito, steak and eggs and the pancakes for a treat of a family breakfast. It's always been good, and the spam musubi and fried rice I sometimes get for later are great as well. Something about today was next-level, so that team working today on 7-25-26 is amazing. Every meat was more tender and flavorful than ever, and I was shocked to learn that this delicious food could somehow be elevated further. Truly delicious.“

I got the small bowl. Just the teriyaki chicken and rice. They give you a lot of chicken and big pieces too. They also have extra teriyaki sauce and hot sauce. Ohh and they have free fountain drinks between 2-4 pm. My order was to go. Love this spot.“
