“Decided to finally try Stacks after hearing that it was good for breakfast. I had the loco moco & buttermilk pancakes. The loco moco was actually pretty good & I'm a critic when it comes to hawaiian cuisine. The pancakes were average not bad but not the best I've had. I'd be back.“

“Haven’t been to this location so I was able to try it today. I got the 2 scoops for $14.50! It was fresh and lots of topping options which was nice. Only the avocado is extra.

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.

“I use to go to RH with my family in the 70's. Atmosphere always transported us to Hawaii. They were famous for BB ribs, drinks, unique salad (with mayo dressing) and even served a bowl of crudite' with celery, salami, etc. every meal. I didn't like the modern re model, however, NOW THIS RE BUILD iS so cool! Just like the 1970's but better!! Dim lit and Hawaiian music set the mood. I was really anxious to try the ribs again. The service was GREAT appetizer excellent but, ribs, BAD! They were not edible. Hard and chewy, like beef jerky. I was so disappointed and all of our party ordered and received the same. I may try again but won't order ribs!!!“

“I am SO GLAD Ono Hawaiian came to my city ( Lake Forest)! We have L&L near us, Nalu's and Aloha BBQ, but been there, done that. Ono brings prime flavor for the Hawaiian BBQ must haves. They pack it in the flavor and is so worth the trip! And, the staff are super duper nice. We've been here three times and their excellent customer service is consistent. My family is hooked and wouldn't go anywhere else.“

Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. Very clean, fast service, and no on premises dining. Many restaurants and foods are featured. Location is in a light industrial area and well traveled. I recommend you try this place.“

The person manning the register was friendly. I got a katsu meal which was fried chicken, rice, and a mix of vegetables along with mac salad. The mac salad was $4.99 for 2 scoops and the katsu was like $10.99. It filled me up. I recommend“

“Been coming here recently. Their combo portions are really generous. You can get a bunch of protein and four side orders! And there area bunch of sides to choose from including kimchi, chapchae, fish cake and macaroni salad. Service is fast and friendly. It's been part of our regular rotation for a while now. However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. “The food is really great, the portions are great as well. However, the issue I have with this place is that we placed the order on the phone and confirm with them that it will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes which is when we would arrive.

Then they didn't start the order until we arrived there and paid for the food. If that's their policy, they should have told us that and we would have gladly paid over the phone.“
