I had some questions and the chef was very helpful, he answered all my questions and I asked for some suggestions, he was spot on. I also ordered a cooked salmon dish. He was very friendly very helpful and the food was DELICIOUS ! And so very yummy! 😋 I will be back“

“I am from out of town i am here visiting my sister in the hospital. I was looking for a good teryaki plate for my wife and I. I read reviews and I decided to try hi bbq. The customer service was great,the price was good and the food was excellent. The ginger dressing was tangy and really good for the salad. The chicken and steak was flavorful and the macaroni salad was really good. Until my sister comes home this will be the place we will go to. If you are looking for really good food at a good price I highly recommend hi bbq. Also the staff was really nice and the place is very comfortable.“

“Decided to try this place out . I had pre-ordered ahead of time for pick up. Ordering Platform was a breeze and easy to navigate. I got the island beef ribs and the beef bowl. I was suprised at how many ribs you get and the amount of meat on it for only 18 bucks! It was plastic wrapped down so the package wouldnt leak which was helpful cuz I hate when my food leaks. The flavor of the meat was salty and greasy and that is just how i like my meat to taste. I was impressed. I spent a total of $30 bucks for dinner for myself and my honey. Location was easy to get into and parking was a abundant .“

“For someone who adores beef, their beef bowl is da bomb, big and juicy just the way I like it. My boyfriend also had the big bros house special and I honestly don’t know which is best cause the sauce is heavenly.“

“Always mine and my family's favorite poke place! Although Jimmy's Poke across from the Walmart is a lot closer to us, Mr. Poke is just top notch, may I say the GOAT. Jimmy's doesn't compete with Mr. Poke's freshness, portions, and atmosphere; Jimmy's is way too expensive for just 2 bowls of poke, and has gone downhill ever since they opened. Jimmy's menu was inconsistent and had quite a few stuff out of stock last time I was there in 2025. However, Mr. Poke has really stepped up with newer decor, quality consistency, and even adding on a stamping system for rewards that'll make us loyal customers come back for more.

Although not fully packed, their patrons sure have increased compared to the first time I tried them in 2020, where there was practically no line and only 1 employee. Not a long wait, but it can get a small line even on the weekdays, so it'll depend. But it's always clean and quiet with a few tables and seats. In addition, they added another employee to the line when I visited today 6 years later, demonstrating how they've grown in reputation.

Ultimately, I'm glad to see a small business growing and getting the recognition it deserves, so I highly recommend them to keep it up! 👏“

“This is your go-to place for delicious to-go poke bowls. Pricing isn't bad, and everything is super fresh and gourmet. With the largest poke order you also get free miso soup! They also have amazing drinks and spam musubi. I've been a returning customer many times now and they have never disappointed me! You guys are my favorite poke place!“

“Plate lunches here are just as delicious as on the Hawaiian Islands. First, the garlic butter shrimp...I will dream about it. Second, the bbq chicken was tender and oh-so flavorful on its own; no need for the dipping sauce although the sauce IS super tasty. Next, the rice is topped with furikake and sesame seeds. Sadly, the spicy pork flavor is excellent, but I don't like how it's in small pieces. I referred to it as shrapnel pieces, and my BF thought that was a precise phrase for it. We were disappointed that the gochujang wings were not available on a weekend night at 6:30pm. This a food court location, so if you want to eat hot & fresh, you need to find a table two stalls down in a small inside area with about 6 tables or outside with about the same amount of tables.“

“The food was excellent! Had the Bacon Fried Rice, Island Style Fried Chicken, Hawaiian Style Mac Salad, and Ramen Cabbage Salad. The women's bathroom is clean. There are many table available to sit at. The service was friendly and quick. They serve plenty of onolicious food!“

Reminds me of a NYC Automat only a 21st-century interpretation with self-service menu ordering terminals, no coin or currency, smartphone updates, and access to retrieving your order from numbered/lettered lockers. “I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

“Had the garlic noodles with added BBQ chicken and their Thursday BBQ chicken plate special. The garlic noodles were pretty good and the BBQ chicken is genuinely some of the best tasting Hawaiian BBQ chicken I've ever had but the portions are pretty small for what they cost.

Friendly staff, very lovely decor. Might consider coming back if I ever stop being broke.“

“We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. “Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

“This location has become my favorite poke spot in OC. The staff are very friendly, they have large portions, and a wide variety of fresh toppings and proteins. The medium bowl is large enough for two meals for myself but they recently upgraded to larger bowls and I decided to splurge. A large bowl and large Thai tea came out to under 25 bucks with tip.“

The food is like back home and I eat at a lot of restaurants back home in Hawaii, and ate in multiple restaurants in different countries, and the mainland.

“I’ve been to other Ohana’s it’s always been a good meal, this place isn’t any different.I just had 4 spam musubi’s and 2 chicken musubi’s. All were delicious and filling for the lunch hour. I weil suggest “easy rice” for less rice and the chicken/spam were cooked/sauced perfectly.I’d definitely come back and try their other menu items.“

“I generally eat here a couple times a month. Food is good, bowls are a favorite in our house. And the macaroni salad slaps, I usually order a small side of it, which comes in a small deli sized container. To my surprise yesterday, I was given this (see photo), only a tiny sauce container full. I know shrinkflation is real, but really?!?! I'm hoping the employee made a mistake because paying $4 for 4 bites of macaroni salad is ridiculous.“
