Plate lunches here are just as delicious as on the Hawaiian Islands. First, the garlic butter shrimp...I will dream about it. Second, the bbq chicken was tender and oh-so flavorful on its own; no need for the dipping sauce although the sauce IS super tasty. Next, the rice is topped with furikake and sesame seeds. Sadly, the spicy pork flavor is excellent, but I don't like how it's in small pieces. I referred to it as shrapnel pieces, and my BF thought that was a precise phrase...read full review
The food was excellent! The portions are generous. I ordered the ribs and they were incredibly tender. My husband chose the chicken katsu and it was delicious!
Hawaiian Beef Rib is awesome; large portions and the meat just falls off the bone.
