“It was such a pleasure having breakfast with Sarah this morning. I came to visit the area with intention to day drink while listening to Lana Del Day by the beach. Things took a tragic turn when I was attacked by a stingray yesterday at Huntington Beach within 20 minutes of my adventures. My dreams of a relaxing weekend suddenly side-f*cked by the marine kingdom left me feeling uninspired. Fortunately my foot didn’t fall off over night. So I decided to go to IHop for breakfast. I’m from Queens so the ones in my neighborhood are not like this one. Sarah embraced my eccentric wackiness. I shared my life story with her and she didn’t make me feel like a psycho. She is a true purposeful leader and sets the atmosphere so beautifully. I am a customer service instructor for American Airline’s 5 star service. Sarah is 10 star!!!“

“This is a proper breakfast spot. As a former chef, I am not easily pleased but I was immediately and pleasantly surprised by their food.. My wife and I have been to many of the more popular/trending spots in socal, and this place beats them all. No huge lines (which is great, but frankly a shame because this place really deserves it), polite & pleasant staff, and hands down the best waffles we have ever tasted.

Ill put it to you this way, I have half a mind to get a moving van and shove the whole lot of instagram-following, line-standing, thoughtless bunch that gathers at these so called "Best Breakfast in O.C." places, into said van and bring them here. If not to wipe the smug smirks off their faces, then to at least let them have one REAL waffle in their likes/follows lives.

I may have gone on a tangent. Belgian Waffle House is genuinely amazing food. You can taste that everything was made fresh and minutes ago. Not unfrozen for your (their) convenience. This place is 100% recommended and became an instant top spot on our list.

“This is my favorite breakfast place in Orange County. They make the best buttermilk pancakes and fluffy omelets. Their meats are great, as well as their fresh corned beef hash. I especially like how nice their staff is. Today, Leslie greeted me. Angie was my server, and Dominic came by to make sure everything was up to my standard. I also like the music. “First time there and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Concha French toast and the crepes. But our waitress Sugey was horrible. We asked for another fork because we were only given one and she said she would bring us 1 and coffee. She took forever, she kept getting distracted. Then when she finally saw me looking at her, she remembered the fork but forgot the coffee. Few minutes later she came with the coffee and we said thank you and her tone was not a happy one. The place wasn't really that busy. The others waitresses were helpful and pleasant. So I put 1 star for service because of her. But everything else was good.“

“Excellent food. I had the French toast breakfast with a side of hash browns and tea. Everything was fresh and fantastic tasting. The quality and price cannot be found elsewhere.

My partner had the cheese omelette on a croissant plus pancakes and it was mouth watering.

The atmosphere was calm and pleasant and the service was spot on. I am not often in the area but I definitely will come again because I enjoyed everything so much.“

“Dreamy breakfast place! The Aliso Viejo location is the best. We’ve tried many places in town for breakfast but this one is the best by far. We usually order family style although the menu is designed for individual ordering. The dishes we enjoy most are the mini pancakes, the omelette, french toast, home fries, and bacon. We’ve seen many others order the Dutch baby and it seems quite popular. The food is wonderful, service with a smile, coffee as soon as you need it, and plenty of parking. It’s a busy restaurant so expect a line at the rush times and especially on weekends. We like to go an hour before closing to avoid waiting. Late breakfast is delicious!

Parking: Free parking in the adjacent lot. Not everyone parks in the lines like they should though. Some speed bumps (ew).

Kid-friendliness: High chairs and boosters, coloring book, crayons, kindness. May include long wait line though.“

“I’ve been here a few times for breakfast.Characters are only available for breakfast and they are always worth it. I’ve had some great and memorable interactions with the characters here.The food is buffet for breakfast and Mickey waffles are a must!

Dietary restrictions: For the buffet, my sister has celiacs disease, which can't have any possible cross contamination with gluten. So the chef walked her through the buffet and wrote down what she would like so it could be put on a plate in the kitchen. This makes it so any possible utensil swaps or something falling from a guests plate as they look through the buffet won't be an issue. Disney is always great at accommodating allergies.“

“Seems like a very popular place. We came on a weekday after the breakfast rush with only 1 waitress - it was kind of slow. The menu options were great. The was very tasty and fresh + but it came out kind of cold. The waitress does not bring the food which is confusing sometimes since the person delivering doesn't know who ordered what. Other than that everything was awesome.

Parking: It's a tight fit“

“This cafe is located tight near Hoag hospital, and is perfect for a quick bite if you are waiting at the hospital. They offer real food, far from your typical hospital cafeteria. To top it off the staff is SO friendly and the food is good to top it off.“

“Was staying at the hotel so decided to go for breakfast. Had the breakfast buffet which was a little pricey but did have various options. I did appreciate the omelet/egg station as it allowed you to customize things to order. They had your standard pastry options as well. They over a variety of juices which is also nice. The usual bacon, sausage, fruit was also out for the buffet. Service was a little lacking at the tables as we had to ask for refills multiple times. Everyone was nice though. Worth checking out if you're staying there.“

“Had an absolutely amazing experience at IHOP today! The service was beyond exceptional. Our waitress was so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. It’s rare these days to find people who genuinely care about their customers, but she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated.

The manager also took the time to check in on us, making sure everything was perfect. It’s clear they care about creating a wonderful experience for their guests. “While staying in Huntington Beach this week we felt overwhelmed by the crowds so we went off in search of something off the beach neighborhood. My brother had told me about Norms so we decided to check it out. Parking was easy and once inside we walked in to a short wait that ended up being longer because they seemed to have no hostess. Once seated by what ended up being our waiter our drink order was taken and of course our food moments after. Portions were good size and our waiter was great. They may want to spray for ants though. Halfway through our meal we saw quite a few tiny ones making their way in through the window seal. Other than that place was clean. You pay up front when you’re done.“
