“Just saw a post on the Facebook page of City of Tustin - Municipal Government and I told my husband we should try this new breakfast and brunch place. I’m so happy we did! The service, the portions, the price and the ambiance were all really very good. Our server, Michael, was very personable and friendly and we wanted to make sure that we left a good review for them. Definitely coming back. Must try if you’re in Tustin. Just try and come early coz they can get really busy after 9am and on weekends.“

“My wife & I have been eating at The Broken Yolk Cafe in Irvine for several years now and we absolutely love the delicious food and the wonderful service, particularly via our regular server Alicia. She has such a positive attitude and shares our love of dogs. She always makes sure to bring our dog Maizie a bowl of water and a pup cup whenever we go there. I cannot recommend this Broken Yolk location and Alicia enough.“

Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? “What a wonderful little place! There are plenty of items on the menu to choose from, as well as gluten-free alternatives. We had shrimp and mashed potatoes; both were excellent! Service was very good while dining al fresco.“

“This was my first visit to Shorty'z and I was not disappointed.
The place was clean, the atmosphere was casual and was greeted promptly.
I ordered the Turkey Omelet which was recommended by Shorty himself. Very nice guy. Good recommendation. It was very good. The hash browns were cooked perfectly as well.
My Google maps said they are known for their breakfast burritos. I'll have to try that next time I visit Shorty'z.

“I had such a wonderful breakfast here. The food was absolutely delicious and exactly what I was craving.

Everything arrived at our table looking perfect. The bacon was cooked to a great crisp, and the pancakes were fluffy and golden brown. I could not be happier with the quality of the meal. I will definitely be coming back soon for another round.“

The Law (AB-3336): Passed as the Fair Food Delivery Act, this mandate ensures third-party delivery orders are safely closed with tamper-evident packaging. You guys need to follow this law when dealing with third party orders. None of my food or drinks had a seal and I'm so upset I couldn't enjoy my meal.“

“Hidden gem! The staff at Forest Cafe was so kind, attentive, and accommodating. I have a pork allergy and they went out of their way to make sure my meal was safe, which I really appreciated.

I had the enchiladas and was honestly pleasantly surprised. I’m super picky with Mexican food because I can make it at home, but every single bite was delicious and full of flavor! My friend ordered the huevos rancheros and said they were exceptional as well.

It’s a clean, small family-owned place with such a welcoming atmosphere. You can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of their food. Definitely going back!“
