Just saw a post on the Facebook page of City of Tustin - Municipal Government and I told my husband we should try this new breakfast and brunch place.
I’m so happy we did! The service, the portions, the price and the ambiance were all really very good. Our server, Michael, was very personable and friendly and we wanted to make sure that we left a good review for them.

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed Almuerzo before, but I just went to their one-year anniversary celebration and had a blast! They went all out with a DJ, flower vendor, photo booth, and balloon artist. I got a free latte AND a gift card (for $30!! 🤯)

Had the guava french toast it was pretty, taste great lots of staff for help.

Almuerzo Café is a restaurant with amazing and delightful food options in an upscale setting that is super reasonable. The food, drink, and mini concha appetizer are delicious. Fresh conchas are brought to the table as a complimentary starter, kind of like how other restaurants serve chips and salsa. The decor inside is beautiful and creates such a welcoming atmosphere.
The menu includes French toasts, chipotle enchiladas, molletes with chorizo and potato, green chilaquiles stuffed with cheese, red chilaquiles, enmoladas, chilaquiles embarazados, huevos divorciados, and a side Tasajo grilled steak. The chilaquiles embarazados are stuffed with authentic Mexican taste. The conchas are fluffy and delicious. The cafe de olla, lattes, freshly squeezed OJ, michelada, Mexican Coke, and Vegan Matcha Horchata are available. The food is well presented with color decoration.
The service is attentive and kind. The staff takes time to explain everything and treats guests with genuine kindness, never making them feel rushed. A DJ, flower vendor, photo booth, and balloon artist were part of a celebration. There is a bar with an 85-95 inch screen. Almuerzo Café is highly recommended.
