“Food was ready for pickup right when I walked in, and the woman serving me was so kind and gracious. I felt very welcome. Friend got the breakfast burrito and I got the breakfast bowl, neither of us was planning on finishing our meals, but we both wound up devouring the whole thing because it was so good. I’m not typically a ham person, but this spot was far and away the exception to that. The onions and green peppers in the bowl really made the flavors pop, and the hash browns were the perfect mix of soft and crispy. So tasty, highly recommend!!“

“This was my first visit to Shorty'z and I was not disappointed.
The place was clean, the atmosphere was casual and was greeted promptly.
I ordered the Turkey Omelet which was recommended by Shorty himself. Very nice guy. Good recommendation. It was very good. The hash browns were cooked perfectly as well.
My Google maps said they are known for their breakfast burritos. I'll have to try that next time I visit Shorty'z.
They are also Hockey fans@

The staff are so humble and they make you feel that you are at home,, my daughters and I visited his restaurant Sunday the 16th around 11 Ish the place it was already busy and we were party of eight kind of big party, but this sweet girl with all the respect was able to accommodate us even on a busy day and pretty much she always was paying attention to our table for any needs, unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to get her name to add it on this review but overall this place is good delicious and I will definitely go back over and over again“

“So glad to see The Pocket has reopened on Monrovia (formerly Outpost Kitchen). Made my first visit since they’re back and had an excellent Brekky sandwich with really fresh, delicious ingredients. As an Aussie, I’ve missed having access to food like this. The coffee is great, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is funky and welcoming. Easy parking out front is a nice bonus.
