“Decent Taiwanese styled Chinese food located inside of the H Mart Plaza. It offers a wide range of dishes. It also has goose meat, which I used to love at this restaurant. They have now brought the goose dish back and I will try it on our next visit. On weekdays, it has a lunch special menu that offers a quick lunch at a reasonable price, including the Beef Noodle Soup. My rice noodle was fine, except it got a lot smaller than what I can remember. No thanks to inflation.“

“Surprisingly good! My picky friend also complimented this place. The veggies were really fresh and the kidney was processed well. Dishes were seasoned perfectly. Not too heavy like a lot of other restaurants. The experience was like dining at a high-end Taiwanese restaurant in Taiwan. Though the dishes were expensive, the price includes sales tax. I will still come back due to the quality and to support the business!“

“I recently checked out PARTEA NYC XP - West Covina and it’s honestly such a fun and unique spot—definitely more than just your typical boba place.

The whole vibe is inspired by Taiwanese night markets, and you can really feel it the second you walk in. It’s lively, colorful, and has a cool, almost arcade-like atmosphere with games and claw machines, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends, not just grab a drink.

As for the drinks, they’re solid. I tried one of their fruit teas and it was super refreshing with real fruit inside—perfect balance of flavor and sweetness. They also have a ton of options, from classic milk teas to their whipped specialty drinks, so there’s something for everyone.

The food is a nice bonus too. We ordered popcorn chicken and it was crispy, flavorful, and hit the spot. It’s cool that you can come here for both drinks and actual snacks instead of just boba.

Ordering is done through a kiosk, which makes things quick and efficient, especially when it’s busy.

“Finally sat down for breakfast at a place that we frequent!!! We always drop by to get their frozen dumplings because they are great value for money but we’ve never actually had their other items. So happy to finally sit down for breakfast. The soy beancurd was pretty good value for money. The serving was huge! The sugar syrup was a little sweet but I can imagine kids loving it. The daikon cake was crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. The sweet rice roll was really interesting. Love it! It was soooo filling though!“

“We always like to go to Picnic Time to get their Yubu. It's a small and cute cafe, but the ambiance is welcoming and comfortable. They also have a lot of new items on the menu. We ordered their seared salmon Yubu x 3, one Kimchi Yubu, one Lemon Ponzu Salmon Yubu, and one eel Yubu.
The food was fresh and delicious. The server was friendly.“

“Unexpectedly good personal shabu shabu here in this little cafe! The portion is very large for the price. It's already cooked and ready to eat. Meat and veggies are very tender and the broth is perfect. I think other dishes are just OK. Kung pao chicken was not very authentic. Tea is quite strong, but also quite impressive about the scent. Boba was less than what I expected from a place known for boba.“

“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.“

“This place is always delicious. It’s one of the few places that my boyfriend and I stop by to have casual comfy dinner when we visit family in the area.

I always get steak or lamb chop which is cooked perfectly medium rare with little pink so it’s super tender.

My bf got shrimp in the past and said it’s delicious but the salmon was overcooked and just okay.

My mom got chicken, dad got short ribs and there were no complaints. Black pepper sauce was what we usually got and with the noodle it’s good.

Each combo we got also came with a drink as well.

The service was great for us as well, we walked in toward end of service and they told us we had 10 minutes to order before kitchen closes, we asked if it’s okay to stay and eat and they said yes and even joked around making us feel comfortable. Could be be because we spoke mandarin.

“Nothing fancy inside. Tables and chairs, enough for maybe for 30 people. Taiwanese cuisine. Not American style Chinese food. Having been to Taiwan and a Taiwanese wife, it was pretty good. The salt and pepper pork chops, not sure if it was really pork. The texture was like a vegan patty, not sure. Zero bone, and somewhat spongy looking. But all in all it satisfied the craving for a Taiwanese inspired meal. Lou Ro Fan was good, but had a lot of sauce. I’d prefer more meat and less sauce. Sorry I didn’t take pictures, I usually do. But if you like Taiwanese food, or looking for something different, we can recommend BD Cafe.“

“First time trying this restaurant we got the yuzu sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich. My yuzu the chicken was only half the sandwich a small tender. Its missing some cheese flavor is good. The spicy chicken sandwich was ok alot of seasoning dry rub. The best was the curly fries super delicious and crispy. I also didn’t appreciate my side of ranch half filled and i paid for it. Drink were good. No customer service self order options. Restrooms could be cleaner. Location is nice.“

“I was curious about this place, so I walked past it to check out their menu before heading to our fave dim sum spot in Walnut/City Of Industry (All That n Dim Sum). Sadly, they’re closed on Tuesdays. Decided to come back here since they looked busy. At first, there were plenty of seats, but when I went back, only 2 seats way in the back were open. We went with the lunch specials, and honestly, best decision ever. I got Combo D—fried chicken steak and noodle soup, plus preserved veggies. My partner had Combo C—fried pork chop with dry noodles. Both were amazing! I loved the noodle soup, but the dry noodles were just as good. Both are classic Taiwanese comfort foods and the lunch specials also come with tea! Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving some tasty, hearty dishes!

“Mom wanted some white bread so we stopped by after the shaved ice place next door. They have one of the best Taiwanese pineapple cakes I’ve ever tasted. They are not cloyingly sweet like others. Service behind the counter was efficient. It’s a little bakery-cafe with some tables and chairs for dine in. There are assorted breads, cookies and cakes. We got ours to go.“

“Been here a few times with my brother and his family. The food is not fancy but consistently solid.

This most recent visit we ordered their Beef Noodle Soup (portion is large, so excellent for sharing family style), Pan Fried Baos, Xiao Long Baos and Wonton Soup.

Beef Noodle Soup is tasty. Flavor is different from Taiwanese style, but enjoyable and their chewy handmade noodles is fire.

Pan Fried Baos is good. I really enjoy the taste of their filling. Just be careful taking the first bite, the juice tends to spray out.

Xiao Long Baos has good fillings. The wrapper is not super thin like Din Tai Fung, but also not paying through the nose for a serving.

The wonton soup is okay, but portion is big. Definitely not leaving this restaurant and having to stop for something else on the way home.

The shaved ice dessert is good too, but we didn’t order that today.

“I ordered a beef wrap to go. I was looking forward to eat it when I got it. But I was disappointed about the food when I opened it. It's too greasy. The wrap had too much of vinegar in it. The taste of it was so so (some parts were no taste, some parts were to salty and others had strong vinegar taste.) I ate it two nights. I had hard times going number 2 in the morning.“

However, i’m always concerned about their health inspection score, always a B or a C. I work at a restaurant holding a A but I still think we could be dirty sometimes, so i wonder how bad is a B and even a C. But anyways, can’t deny their food is good.“
