10 stars for nostalgia cravings satisfied. All the Taiwanese flavors in the nearby area have been overtaken by Chinese flavors so we came to 101 Cafe to get our Taiwanese cravings. The 101 Cafe in Diamond Bar, CA, holds a special place in my heart, having been a loyal customer for over 20 years, even during its Good Time Cafe days in Rowland Heights. Throughout the years, I've had the pleasure of meeting many servers at this establishment, and I can genuinely say that I learned Mandarin thanks to the wonderful servers here, despite being Korean myself. Decent Taiwanese styled Chinese food located inside of the H Mart Plaza. It offers a wide range of dishes. It also has goose meat, which I used to love at this restaurant. They have now brought the goose dish back and I will try it on our next visit. On weekdays, it has a lunch special menu that offers a quick lunch at a reasonable price, including the Beef Noodle Soup. My rice noodle was fine, except it got a lot smaller than what I can remember. No thanks to inflation.
