“Amazing experience over 4th of July weekend. Perfect location kiddos were able to run in the open space/water fountain area right in front of patio seating. Everything we got from the chicken dish, sesame noodles, chicken soup, and assorted dumplings was delicious. Our kids kept asking us to order more chicken dumplings lol. Exceptional friendly service. Highly recommend.“

“Being in West LA makes it hard to find good Taiwanese foods. Canaan Cafe offers really authentic Beef Noodle Soup and decent Stinky Tofu. The beef noodle soup seemed to be prepared with different part of beef (brisket, shank, and maybe some short rib?) and a broth with proper bone and aromatic flavors. I appreciate the efforts“

“Came here while craving some caffeine-free late night boba and was pleasantly surprised with how great the Longan ginger goji berry drink was.

The guy helping me was super helpful and friendly. Drink came out super fresh (waited 8 minutes - as he mentioned). Super delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try other options!“

“Not the fanciest boba shop you could go to, but it's a Quickly, you'll get a good deal on some good food and drinks. The inside is actually decent with tables to study or do work. The people are nice. I love getting the popcorn chicken here, you get a giant bag and it's always hot and crispy.“

“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions.
