“Weekends are usually packed here so parking lot is always busy. Be patience and you can always find parking in the lot. Tonight they had someone filling the water for everyone. Food is always on point. Never had a bad experience. $40 for 2 of us. We got the spicy beef noodles soup with the flat noodles, 8 pieces of potstickers, cucumber salad, pickled mustard green and their marinated egg.“

“Delicious and comforting meal at King Tofu today. I had the vegetables with rice and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous and the service was friendly. Great spot for a healthy and satisfying meal. I’ll definitely come back.“

“Ordered: Stinky Tofu, Blondie Yolk Chicken, Pork Rib Rice Noodle, and Fried Rice with Sausage.
Such comforting foods, everything we ordered was delicious. Every dish has the right amount of seasoning and the portions are generous. Even we were a little hesitant to order the stinky tofu, but after getting over the smell it was pretty tasty.
Also, if you get a change to try their boba bar it is a must when you come here. Love the oat milk options and all the slushes were so yummy. So generous with their toppings too.“

“I have been coming here for years and I love choosing from their delicious trays of cooked Chinese food. There is always a wide variety to choose from. I love that it comes with complimentary rice congee with sweet potato cubes or rice. The chilled soy milk which is usually buy one get one free is also delicious. There is also a friendly lady who always greets customer with a bright smile and cheerful voice.
Recently I decided to try their ala carte menu for the first time where you can order fried rice, noodles which is cooked upon order. I ordered fried noodles and soup noodles but unfortunately both were very salty and oily. Both were not up to the standard of their usual cooked food (for pick and choose). I have never seen people order the ala carte menu whenever I dine in, and I suppose this must be the reason why.
I recommend coming here for their cooked food options where you can pick and choose to go. But I'd be a little wary about ordering their ala carte menu items (cooked upon order), where the quality seems more variable.“

“I genuinely recommend the First Sandwich. We ordered from here multiple times, and they never disappointed us. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. I love the avocado walnut salad; it’s very refreshing. The sandwich is flavorful. The clam chowder bowl is creamy and well balanced. They gave us so much food with reasonable price. The owner is always so kind and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“I have visited JJ Bakery Irvine over a decade. I love their Traditional Taiwanese breads , pastries and sweets. Here are a few items that I would recommend (in pic order)
1. Egg Tart: I always purchase two egg tarts when I have the chance. But, it got sold out quickly.
2.Taro Pastry: Real taro paste, not too sweet. It is very delicious
3. Custard Bread: One of the traditional Taiwanese breads.
4. Scallion Bread: It is savory. Sometimes, I like savory breakfast.
5. Flan: Flan is located at the refrigerator near the entrance. It is dense instead of watery. I love it.
6. Almond Cookie:Perfect snack while I am watching Netflix.( It won’t last 20 minutes though)“

“Absolutely delicious food - def a hidden gem in Irvine. Flavors hit al dente and they're pretty delicious and nearly authentic - speaking from someone who's travelled to nearly all the provinces in China. The Taiwanese Chicken is really good - though it's more like Jiangnan-style food given its sweetness - and you can tell whoever's working behind the kitchen is a veteran. Despite the 4.0, this place's food is easily 4.5 or above.“

“I wish there was one closer to the Fresno area. I’m a sucker for good popcorn chicken and this one absolutely didn’t disappoint. The chicken was cooked just right. The meat was still nice and juicy. The one thing that I wasn’t a fan of was the fish cake. It tasted like a fishy mochi. Scratch that it wasn’t bad but I would get it again. The chicken for sure is where it was at. The service was friend and the place had a few seats but it was more of a to go place. Oh and the sauces that I got especially the J&G sauce was like a spicy mayo was very good. I think it’s even better than the Cane sauce and would go good with the Raising Cane chicken.“

“The story of the Four Sea Restaurant founder is quite the adventure, from cooking for her family in China to moving to Taiwan then California, the food is authentic and comfort. They have a huge variety of classic Chinese and Taiwanese breakfast items at a fair price. There is plenty of indoor seating and the staff are friendly. Only complaint is that the food can come out a bit slow though.“
