I’ve been coming to Au79 since 2006, back when they had their San Gabriel location. Unfortunately, the San Gabriel location closed during COVID, and now the Arcadia location is the only one still open.

Good and cheap
I usually don’t write reviews for boba shops, but my experience at AU 79 in Arcadia today was so exceptional that I had to stop and write one.
I visited yesterday and ordered the Peach Green Tea — and honestly, it was divine. The peach flavor was perfectly balanced with a strong, clean green tea base.
