“Jollibee is secretly Filipino but from the looks of the customers, everyone is getting into it. Growing like crazy with unique options besides burgers and chicken. Try their Filipino spaghetti with hot dogs in the sauce ir the hamburger patties over rice with brown gravy. Awesome!“

We got 2 order of the combo wings. The combo comes with 1 medium size pizza, 12 wings, and 1 liter soda of choice.

You’re able to choose 2 sauces for the wings and we got mango habanero, lemon pepper, honey garlic, and something else. For the pizza, we got bulgogi and Hawaiian.

On top of that I ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup which was pretty good. However, there were only like 6 dumplings and lots of rice cake that couldn’t be finished. Towards the end of the soup, it started getting a bit saltier as well.

The price you pay for the amount of food you get is decent. Flavors are good as well. I think the only complaint is that they drench their chicken in sauce which isn’t my preference when eating Korean fried chicken.“

“Pelicana is the OG of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) boom in Korea. It faces stiff competition along South street in Artesia, from Dave's, Raising Cane, Chik FilA, Jollibee, Popeyes, McDonald's, and bbq.

I ordered the half chicken, original with Smokey hot sauce. The chicken is not as juicy as Jollibee or bbq, the sweet yet hot sauce, however, is sticky good. It comes with pickled radish / chicken-mu to cut through the grease and spice. It's good to enjoy it with a glass of cold beer.“

There’s a game you can play when you first order and if you manage to stop the timer on exactly 10 seconds you get a free combo. “I think I've already posted about them? Anyhoot- The food, specifically the wings are absolutely the best I've ever had. They are NOT frozen and are cooked to order. They nail each of their flavors like a Gold medal. My wife and I have cravings... for these extremely fresh wings. A little pricey but worth it. I believe they sell wings in a 10 and 20 count.I always finish mine and have at least 3 of my wife's. If you worry about them being Korean BBQ....DON'T. You will have fireworks of flavors and textures blowing up total goodness on all of your tastebuds. If you do order don't expect 5 or 10 minutes as I said not frozen and cooked to order, make sure you know they'll take 15 to 20 minutes to make. I don't want to say anything bad at all, but they charge you for ranch dressing and it is a little priced high. But don't let that stop you. Go get your fingers covered in beautiful flavors, I've never been a finger licker, but I lick my fingers here. It's an exception. Go, you will fall in love...LOL“

I love their sauced up options. Boneless and bone-in. My friends prefer the seasoned over sauce.

Recently ordered 4 options: 2 boneless- 1 with sauce, 1 without, and 2 bone-in: 1 wjth sauce and 1 without / for a party. It traveled 1 hour, sat outside for 3 hours, and I took some back home with me. Air fried it and its so soft still, 1 and 2 days later. Everyone loved it! We had 25 people and there were like 4 bone-in and 6 boneless left. (Potluck style yknow)

* Combo #2 (Mean Sandwich, 1 Tender, Kale Slaw & House Sauce) -
The sandwich was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The tender was excellent, and the kale slaw and house sauce complemented everything perfectly.

* Mac & Cheese (Mild) -
Creamy, cheesy, and delicious. The perfect side to pair with the chicken. Next time I may take it up a notch to medium for a different taste experience.
The atmosphere feels similar to a classic burger spot; casual and welcoming. I chose to eat inside, where there was some noise, but it was completely bearable. If you prefer, there is also ample outdoor seating available.

The service was friendly and attentive. Wendy, along with who I assume was the owner, were both helpful, welcoming, and made sure I was taken care of throughout my visit.

Expect about a 10-15 minute wait for your food, but that's because everything is made fresh to order. The quality was well worth the wait.

“We were recommended to this place by some friends, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and were immediately greeted, asked if we knew what we wanted. We said we needed a coyote of minutes, but the gentleman said no problem, but answered some questions we had. We ordered the chicken skins, hush puppies and the #1 with light meat (breast and a wing with potato wedges and a roll). The hush puppies were so flavorful, no need for a dipping sauce. The chicken skins were huge and also very flavorful. I finally got to my chicken because it was so hot, I'm not sure because I had the other stuff, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful as the other stuff I had. The potato wedges were good, very hot as well. We will be back! Good value for what you get!“

I would have been there every weekend! My family tried it and they loved it as well! I hadn't been there in years, and this weekend, we picked some up since we were heading to San pedro.

Even better - I have now found a fried chicken place to share with friends who don't have gluten issues. I'd share a picture... but it smelled so good, I forgot to take one and we ate it all.“
