“First time for me coming here and now I’m hooked. Delightful food, absolutely love the grilled chicken, the plantains and mac & cheese! The seasoning is so good and the chicken is so tasty and not dry at all. I used to be an el pollo loco fan, but now I am a fan of Pollo Campero!!! Their grilled chicken is fire!! I’m going again today.“
“The food is a little pricey and when you get the food you expected what you paid. But the rations are small. The wraps are very small. I'm sorry you guys need to do something about it he sizes. Good old franchise but pricey and low rations.“
“It was a loooong drive back to THE IE with Grandma's chicken riding shotgun. The fam better be glad I love them.Chicken was broasted to perfection! And I love the potato wedges. Crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside.“
“I ordered the Garlic Edamame, Double Crunchy Roll, and Mango Tango. Absolutely everything was delicious. It’s a nice little mom and pop restaurant that you cannot pass up. This was probably one of the best sushi spots I’ve tried in a while!“
“Karina was a great cashier and very helpful. Excellent customer service. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. Mac and cheese was amazing as well. Love that they have vegetarian options as well. Overall, I'm super impressed with this location. Thanks for the great meal! I'll definitely be back again to try more of the menu.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower tenders, kale slaw, toast, fries, and shakes.Parking: Huge parking lot and shopping center.“
“We ordered the sloppy Zach and the beefy Zach. They take pride in making the sandwiches. Everything about the sandwiches was balanced between the flavor and just the right amount of spice. The sandwiches was not too greasy and brioche was pillow-y. The wait was worth it. Until next time.“
“We just ordered DoorDash but only ended up receiving 1 of our 2 orders. I called the store and Paul was quick to fix the situation. Appreciate the customer service!Food wise, I used to live in Nashville and this hot chicken is legit. Tenders and fries are the way to go!“
“This place has been opened for ten months - how could I have not known about this? Until my neighborhood friends recommended this place. No more making the drive in traffic out to Savoy in Alhambra when craving for Hainan chicken rice. It's a small restaurant tucked behind Popeye's fried chicken adjacent to Auntie Anne's pretzel and Jamba Juice. They have a limited menu that specializes in chicken rice. For my first try I kept it simple with Hainan chicken rice to go order. There is regular and a larger size portions. The perfectly sliced boneless chicken sits on top of ginger chicken broth flavored rice comes with minced cucumber slices, and three sauces sambal, soy sauce, and ginger sauce. There is also a small side of chicken broth. The chicken tastes clean, no MSG detected. Next time I'll be back to try the fried chicken. No cash accepted, pay by cashless credit card or Apple Pay at the kiosk.“
“These guys have dialed it in! In response to a message I recieved after my prior review I requested no seasoning and well done for my fries and wow, what an improvement! The chicken crimsons were amazing as always. 10/10 This time we tried the onion. It was kind of like an awesome blossum from outback. 9 bucks and lots of delicious crispy savory onion for the price. This place is very nice inside, I carried good out this time but, used their restroom on this visit. It is very clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure, thanks for the good eats, Crimson Coward!“
“This place is sooo good , everything has so much flavor I fell in love with the pickles and I hardly even eat pickles . The chicken is so tasty and the fries. The customer service is also really good . This is one of the best hot chicken spots I’ve ever tried I will definitely go back .“
“It's a good addition to your spicy fried chicken roster! I had the combo #3 and the Yoon(?) fries. My spice tolerance is on the higher side and hot wasn't spicy enough, so you can be a little adventurous here! Chicken and fries were cooked well and portions are good for what you pay. I wish the chicken was a bit crispier though, hence the 4 stars. Yoon fries were good and filling, basically fries with a chopped up tender with coleslaw and drenched in ranch. I generally love ranch but it was a bit much even for me, and it made the chicken a little soggy. I got some of their special sauce on the side and it's pretty good!“
“I'm not a Korean chicken connoisseur, so I didnt know what to expect. Safe to say, I'm now a fan. Perfect crisp on the chicken and once you start munching, you can't stop. Service was great. They don't close the lids on to go orders when you pickup, as to keep them from not steaming in the carton and they remain CRUNCHY. Highly recommend. The only reason they don't have a line out the door is most likely the location. I invite all to pay a visit and support local eateries like this one.“
“I visited Byrd's twice while I was in Anaheim and I have to give them mad props. Both times I was greeted and served by friendly people who wanted to tell me about their favorites on the menu.I'm pretty basic and easy going so I got the sandwich both times; one hot and the second supahot. Both were made to order, hot, crispy, juicy and Delicious.I like spicy so I really enjoyed both seasonings and I didn't really have a favorite. If I lived here I'd definitely go back“
“Delicious chicken, great dumplings, and friendly service! We came by today for lunch with my family, all of whom wanted different things, so we decided this food court would be a great option. We shared the Insane Fries, Popcorn Chicken, and Pork Dumplings, and all of them were hot and delicious! The owner easily convinced us to order the dumplings by giving us free samples not just once but three times before we ordered! The chicken was really amazing and crunchy but still juicy. The fries were good, better than animal fries from In N Out in flavor and size. Overall, we were surprised how big every item was when it came out, definitely more than enough to share between 3+ people that we had leftovers. Excellent spot to try out if you're near the airport.“
“We stopped in to Monster Hot Chicken on a Friday evening and it was empty aside from one guy. The place is small and has room for about 8-10 guests to eat. The menu is pretty straightforward without a lot of options to clutter things. You can basically order a 2 piece chicken tender combo, 2 piece tender sandwich or a 1 piece tender combo 1 piece tender sandwich... there's some salad options and noodles as well. We got the 2 piece tender combo and the 2 piece tender sandwich with the spice level of Hot. My husband said he would have gone up to a higher spice level and I enjoyed the hot but would probably go down a level next time as my stomach hurt a bit the next day. We initially wanted to order the family meal but you're only allowed to choose one flavor for the entire family... some of us like it super spicy and some don't so we ended up having to order two original chicken tenders on the side so our son could eat as well. Really wish you could have multiple flavors in that, which is really why I'm deducting a star. It also took a bit of time for the chicken to be prepared, but the flavor and juiciness makes up for that. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist inside so it was a good combo. I did really enjoy this place, but just not the stomachache the next day so if/when I return, I'll probably go down to the mild. The workers (who I assume were also the owners) were very nice and gracious as well!“
“This place is my new spot for Nashville hot chicken. Hands down the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich in OC. Given them a try and check out their menu for lunch and dinner. The place is fire. I recommend eating there or at the outdoor seating for the best experience. Take out option is still solid. The bird is spicy and flavorful and holds great.“
“Very decent fried chicken, minimum service.Good for takeout orders for sure. The store is a bit small with 4 4-ppl tables. and the service is minimum, may not be the ideal dine-in option. One suggestion for the fried chicken: consider using waxed paper or something else as underlayment for the onion sauce topped chicken. The sauce is delicious but it's very water and paper underlayment got messed with chicken pieces, not a great experience.Would come back for the food but will stick to take-out only.“
“I was yelping for KFC options and found this place by my house and decided to check it out. I placed a an order for 50 wings for a party and decided on soy garlic, kfc and snow cheese. I chose three but I believe they allow you to choose up to 5 flavors. It took about 15 minutes and the order was ready. Soy garlic and KFC are typical flavors that I normally see and have tried and they're pretty good here. I've never tried snow cheese and it didn't disappoint. It has a slightly sweet flavor and was my favorite. Overall tasty wings at good prices. I would definitely come back.“
“Chicken tenders: my husband and I agreed that they were the best chicken tenders we ever had ! So juicy and tender!!Corn cheese: a little too sweet and watery. But super cheesy!JR. wings: not battered and so savory!Food was 10/10 service was on point, what more can you ask for.“
“Looks and smells pretty good. I tried a piece but, my daughter ate most of it. Just ok. Long wait times in the drive-thru line but, was expected as the food is made to order . I think. The staff didn't seem to be too happy or jolly. They were not rude at all but, not too cheerful.“
“Best hot chicken samich I've had in a while. Crispy light breading, thick moist tender breast ?. Hot sauce was just right. Recommend going deluxe and combo price was a reasonable 11$. Complimentary soft serve was cherry on top. Highly recommend if you're in the area.“
“Perfect every time! The chicken is always consistently delicious and the workers are very nice. The restaurant has a lot of seating and is quite clean. The menu has a good variety of flavors and chicken to choose from so you're bound to find something that you like. They also play KPOP music videos which is a giant plus. The price is slightly higher than the average chicken place, in my opinion. However, you're definitely paying for the quality and taste. We always stop by when we're in the area and so should you!“
“Yummy food and sauces, reasonably priced food. Good portion sizes. Tender and flavorful meat. You add sauce(s) using their sauce bottles. I got the Chicken and Steak Bowl. I added their mayo sauce and spicy sauce. It was delicious. Cashier was friendly and helpful. Good costumer service. She brought the food to our table. Short wait time for food to come out and not crowded. Clean and organized atmosphere. A moderate amount of seating. Medium sized parking lot. Cypress College students get a free small drink with a bowl or plate purchase.“
“The most delicious, freshly prepared, juicy, well seasoned chicken breast sandwich I've ever had! It was great. At first, I thought it was burned because it was a really dark brown. But that's because it was saturated in seasoning. I chose the hot one and it was hot! Took a few minutes to sink in. The sauce that came with it looks like thousand island dressing but doesn't taste like it. Kinda hard to describe the taste except it Kinda cools down the intense heat and pairs well with the chicken. I really enjoyed my sandwich and I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower wings substitute for chicken“
“Came across this place on our way to Disneyland, and was so impressed we came back on the way home. The rotisserie chicken is amazingly juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. We tried the honey garlic wings on the way back and the chicken was also amazing. The rice is really unique and I also enjoyed the potato salad. Will be making this a regular stop when in Anaheim“
“After losing the 50/50 twice during the HSR collab, I drove here in the hopes that I could guarantee the ticket I wanted. I'm so glad I did.The people here are really nice and the building is clean with a nice atmosphere. There's even a little parking out back. The food, of course, is excellent (Signature sauce gang)“
“Came to try the chicken waffle sandwich. It was really good! I got the spicy and asked for coleslaw instead of lettuce or whatever comes on the spicy option, also got the seasoned taters . The seasoning on the taters was a bit overpowering so next time I’ll either get the waffle fries or get plain taters. I like the drink options, they have coffee and iced coffee as part of the fountain drinks option. The Coleslaw is a bit tartary so next time I’ll ask for it It in the side. Great service! Oh and they have great ranch upon request!“
“Fire wings for me always hits the spot. Affordable, good food, and quick! They have a wealth of traditional and fusion flavors, wet and dry rubs, bone in, boneless, tons of side options. The workers are always nice and helpful and the food comes out hot and quick. Even today I ordered 200 wings for about $300 (incl. tip) all at once and they were super accommodating. We got all of our food within 20 minutes! Insane!“
“Went during the night with cousins, the atmosphere is too dark and moody for us, could use some more lighting. We ordered half and half, half soy and half original. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. We also had the rosé tteokbokki. Both were fantastic and super tasty. There were complimentary water, cabbage, and radish. Will come back, honestly on par with bbq chicken which is down the street from this joint. Higher recommend this place.“
“So glad to have Dave Hot Chicken in town! The service was very friendly. I was always curious about the reaper but I was not sure if I can handle it . The cashier offered to give us a reaper on the side so that we can try. Here is the waiver if you want to try reaper“
“I LOVE it here, they have such a great menu, great team as well along with great creative ideas with new flavors. I love what they offer and the food hits every time and I love the sauces too because they are so creative with it. The quality of the produce they use is on point and you don't feel cheated for your money when you eat here, plus it's a great price too. You GOT to try the DRAGONFIRE sauce too, it's so perfect.“
“Great food, AMAZING price, friendly service, fantastic selection--everything you could want in a quick meal. Best of all it's not loaded down with a bunch of tenderizers and chemicals. I have a lot of food sensitivities so most restaurants are not an option for me, but this place serves food free of that crud. It's my new favorite!!“
“The food was delicious and fresh. The chicken was juicy and not all greasy. The sweet and spicy sauce was perfect and the shrimp fried rice was simple but superb. Our waitress was very patient and kind. The customer service was great and she answered all our questions. We would definitely drive from afar again to eat here.“
“We have options for rotisserie chicken, fire grilled chicken, and other methods or cooking the bird. Well Juan’s does it well. The chicken was not dry. The rub on it forms a tasty layer that is not too salty or peppery. The potato salad for me sealed the deal. Creamy finely chopped goodness. Decor is quaint reminds me of small dinners growing up. You know the one with colorful fiberglass seats. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. Stop by and enjoy.“
“Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a haven for chicken lovers! From the moment you step inside, the aroma of freshly fried chicken fills the air, tantalizing your taste buds. The menu is simple yet satisfying, featuring perfectly crispy chicken fingers served with a side of their signature Cane's sauce.“
“Finally gluten free Korean fried chicken!!! My kids are gluten free and never got to taste Korean fried chicken. Last week they finally got to taste their first gluten free Korean fried chicken(KFC) and now they're in Love!!! This place has become our saturday night staple!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“I'm giving this place all five stars because it's a small business but it was more like a four something than a five. The chicken teddies are, indeed good, in that they had juicy, not dry chicken. Basically, dry chicken tendies are terrible always and moist chicken tendies are usually great. The fries (crinkle cut) were just OK. They give you one small container of sauce which seems a tad parsimonious for a non chain fast food place. They have a wall of taps but the soda selection was weak. They also had sandwiches and salads. In the town square area of orange.Vegetarian options: NoDietary restrictions: ChickenParking: Street and some lotsKid-friendliness: YeahhhhWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Tried the Dave's Not Chicken sandwich and it didn't disappoint. It was crispy and freshly prepared, it was still hit when I got home. My fries could've been hotter but they were good just not off the fryer hot. I added some fresh spinach and onions and it was really good with the sauce provided..The staff was extremely nice and everybody had a smile on their faced..I will go back to this location.“
“The whole chickens are delicious and plentiful. Chicken burritos quick fast meals and I'm on the go a lot. Next time I'm going to go large on the side dishes. Overall I wasn't disappointed and neither will you, gotta try for sure.“
“Crimson Coward's Spicy Chicken Tenders and Sandwich are a win for anyone looking for a flavorful and fiery chicken experience. With customizable heat levels, high-quality ingredients, and a crispy texture, they're sure to satisfy. Just remember, with great spice comes great...responsibility? Maybe grab a drink on the side!“
“I bought two of the 3 piece meals( 2 thigjs & 1 leg). The fried chicken was fresh made to order. My grandmother loved the coleslaw. I loved the macaroni salad. It was different with the chunks of carrot & celery lightly sauced. I wish I would have bought another one for tomorrow. I had an excellent experience. Will definitely go back & try other menu items.Parking: They are located in a strip mall. There is plenty of parking.“
“I called in an order on a Tuesday evening and received a delicious portion of Korean fried chicken in less than 20 minutes. I appreciated that the cashier I talked to kindly and clearly repeated my order. I ordered the half-and-half meal: boneless kang jung and fried chicken with sweet & spicy sauce on the side. I also bought a side of coleslaw. The boneless kang jung had a deliciously sweet, savory, and spicy flavor with a few bits of chewy tteokbokki. I enjoyed how each piece took multiple bites to finish. My family also really liked the original Furai chicken. The seasoning and spices blended well to make the chicken a high-quality meal. Furai serves about 16 types of flavors, so next time, I'd order ones that taste more different for a half-and-half meal. Each box also came with a few potato wedges, but I found them not crispy enough for my liking. The kang jung box had jalapeños and pickled radish. The coleslaw side's small portion size, however, made buying it next time not worth it. My family agreed that it also tasted too salty. Complementing the order with baked french fries and rice made the meal feel complete. We didn't have any leftovers this time, but I felt really full. I don't have many comments about the ambience, but when I picked up my food, it looked cozy and clean without any customers. It even had an indoor air purifier, which I rarely see in restaurants. That's a big plus, and I respect when any business cares about its indoor air quality. Also, I appreciated that the cashier recited my order again before I received my food for takeout. Because of the tasty food and convenience, I'd like to come back again.“
“If they gave half stars, I'd give it a 3 1/2. The food was good, which is most important. But there could've been more coleslaw on the chicken sandwich, and in my opinion every meal should come with pickles. The atmosphere and customer service were lacking. Every restaurant owner should go to In-N-Out Burger and model their customer service after them--welcome me and my family into the restaurant, ask us how we are enjoying our meal and if we need anything else, and thank us on the way out for paying $50 for four sandwiches. The temperature inside the restaurant was sweltering hot, the bathrooms were gross and unkept, and the soda machine well was overflowing and messy. There was a lot of employees standing around, which should never be the case.“
“Had a business lunch date here. We both were having a hankerin' for some delicious Dave's Hot Chicken. Was really surprised this place had really failed the decor test of all the other Dave's... Really disappointing! But the disappointment didn't stop there.. What goes great with a Dave's Hot... Milkshake... But, NO, not today! Sorry, machine is down! Down??? What is this McDonald's??? Didn't sit well with my client, ugghhhh! Come on Dave's... Get it together... Because your food... ON POINT! Great sandwich.. Crispy fries... BOLD flavor all the way through... Delicious... The only saving grace to this location... Saved the lunch. Hopefully they can get it together here, because the other locations are jammin'“
“This is a fun place to eat and great service. This restaurant started it all for the making of Knott’s Berry Farm. The fried chicken is the favorite and also has the chicken fried steak. Soups and salads stated good. Also don’t forget some Apple pie take it to go and stop by the Cable Car Kitchen for some ice cream on top.“
“Was looking for late night Korean fried chicken and happened upon this place. The restaurant is within a little plaza so it's a little difficult to see from the street but quite spacious and clean. However, it was strangely very empty.. Got there around 7p, left at 8p, and we were the only table the entire time. I guess a good place for pickup though, as there were a quite a few to-go orders during that time. I thought it would be more bustling as they open pretty late and offer alcohol but it was very, very quiet.Get the original wings and a sauce. Their base flavor is good on it's own if you prefer OG fried chicken.“
“Tuesday 3/5/24 Lunch at The Breakfast Factory in Brea. Enjoying a smash burger combo. It is an authentic smashed burger with tasty lettuce, pickles, and thousands island dressing. Their fries are thick and crispy.Blanca and Sandra service staffs, were friendly and service with a smile to brighten customers’ day.Note to owner(s) & chef: make sure lettuce is dry if not after putting dressing, water tends to run down the burger and it get messy.I recommend this burger joint to try. It will be hard to find. Hint: it is located in the Brea Mall food court.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast“
“I do enjoy dining here whenever I am going to Knotts. My mom worked there back in the day and I have been going there for 60 years. Food is always consistent and you can count on good quality food. The service was very good. We enjoyed ourselves like usual.“
“I was very satisfied with the hefty portion of Buffalo Loaded Fries. Although the taste wasn't anything special, it was still a solid choice to fill up on. I'll be back to try other menu options that seem interesting. The service was fast too. The only downsides were that it was somewhat expensive and the Buffalo sauce upset my stomach.“
“chicken is very top tier, i got a lvl 3/6 (medium) and it gave the right amount of kick. it's enough to take a bite and you feel it instantly but you also feel the actual heatness of the chicken so it gives the thought that your bite is even spicier than it actually is. the fires have the outer layer of like breading which makes it crunchier which is what my preference is for fries in general. not gonna lie the actual store is kind of lonely since there was only 2 customers that came in and i was there for 50 minutes. the art on the walls are very nice though. one little thing that makes the service better is that the cashier brings your order to you which i didn't expect but it's just the tiny things that go a long way.“
