“We were recommended to this place by some friends, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and were immediately greeted, asked if we knew what we wanted. We said we needed a coyote of minutes, but the gentleman said no problem, but answered some questions we had. We ordered the chicken skins, hush puppies and the #1 with light meat (breast and a wing with potato wedges and a roll). The hush puppies were so flavorful, no need for a dipping sauce. The chicken skins were huge and also very flavorful. I finally got to my chicken because it was so hot, I'm not sure because I had the other stuff, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful as the other stuff I had. The potato wedges were good, very hot as well. We will be back! Good value for what you get!“

“The food is pretty good, with a huge variety and different ways to dine in with chicken. I especially love their sauces, its to die for. I loved the service as well, I had a worker named Rory who brightened my day with small talk. Not only that they were able to get my order up fast and easy with no complications and even after giving me my food, a big 'ol thank you and have a nice day from Rory made me feel comfortable in the space. All and all amazing place to dine for fast food- would try again!“

“You know you’re going to have a good time when you see the infamous bee mascot and smell the fried chicken aroma as you get close to Jollibee. It has been a true staple every time I have visited Filipino friends, gone to a Filipino party, or just wanted some good fried chicken.

The service every time I have visited here has been consistent. They’re friendly and get the orders right every time. Good job to the team and management at this location!

The food here I have noticed has been a bit inconsistent compared to other locations. The fried chicken is sometimes too salty. Overall, not a huge deal but it is something I have noticed.

If you’ve never tried Jollibee before, do yourself a favor and go! Make sure to get the spicy fried chicken (if you’re a fan of spice or even if you’re not since it’s not really spicy at all) and the mango pie. Thank me later!“

“I showed up at 10:09. It opened at 10:00 and already had 2 people at a table and 4 in line ahead of me. I ordered the Yaho Special with salmon substitute and shrimp. Both the grilled salmon and shrimp were wonderful. I'll definitely be coming back here the next time I'm craving grilled salmon or shrimp.“

The guy manning the business in the mourning was personable and had great customer service skills. The burger had a lot of flavor great ratios of meat, cheese, onions, and bread wasn’t too bready. The fries are solid lightly seasoned. I personally like a little more but you can always add more but can’t take it off so I get it. I’m going to come back and try the chicken, can’t wait. “I’ve ordered from this place 7 to 10 times and finally figured out. I should probably review it. I only order takeout. Never had an issue with my order and the people who give me my order when I pick it up are nice. Never have had an issue with the chicken. The fries are actually really good. I’ve ordered the boneless and the bone in wings and they’re always excellent.“

We got 2 order of the combo wings. The combo comes with 1 medium size pizza, 12 wings, and 1 liter soda of choice.

You’re able to choose 2 sauces for the wings and we got mango habanero, lemon pepper, honey garlic, and something else. For the pizza, we got bulgogi and Hawaiian.

On top of that I ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup which was pretty good. However, there were only like 6 dumplings and lots of rice cake that couldn’t be finished. Towards the end of the soup, it started getting a bit saltier as well.

The price you pay for the amount of food you get is decent. Flavors are good as well. I think the only complaint is that they drench their chicken in sauce which isn’t my preference when eating Korean fried chicken.“

“For Mothers Day We ordered the Jumbo Meal 3 Chickens and All 3 xl sides Potato Salad because we had rice and beans at the house. It was amazing as always still hot after a 20 minute drive. My in-laws picked it up and drove it down to South County for a visit. It fed 9 people and we got seconds. The Potato salad here is the best! I could eat it every other day. Such an amazing texture. I have gone to other chicken spots and they are good but Juan Pollo is the best.“

She went above and beyond with us when we inquired as to whether we could get some of that boysenberry ice cream to go. “You know, Korean style chicken has evolved over the past decades in Korea itself and the market’s saturated with many brands more popular than Pelicana, but Peicana was one of THE original brands known for their spicy seasoned chicken (yang nyum)

I have not tried any other Pelicana locations, and I have no particular comment for their regular fried chicken, but the spicy original seasoned chicken at this particular Artesia location is VERY good with generous sauce on the bottom of the box to dip in any portions that you want more of it on. My hubby says it tastes just like what he used to have back in the days (tho he is more of a Kyo chon consumer in Korea, but here in the States this is his favorite). So I would say (for those who like ‘em of course) just get the original spicy seasoned chicken and you won’t fail. Plus the lady who runs the place is very, very nice — three times we bought from her though she doesn’t seem to remember (-;“

Tina helped me out, and I’ve got to say… she nailed it. I love seriously hot food, and I’ve never really had anything that felt “too hot,” so I asked her for something that would actually bring the heat. I even asked for my fries to be extra crispy—basically burnt—and she went all the way to the back to explain it exactly right.

Just look at it—loaded, saucy, and absolutely stacked. Some places are just “hot” for the sake of being hot—but this was different. That legendary hot sauce is the real deal. It actually had me tearing up (in the best way possible) with every bite. It was intense, but still packed with flavor—not just heat.

The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the fries—thanks to Tina—came out exactly how I asked.

Also, shoutout to the cook in the back (didn’t catch her name), because Tina made sure everything was communicated perfectly, and it showed. That kind of teamwork doesn’t go unnoticed.

Honestly, if someone has a bad experience here, I’d have to think they just didn’t communicate what they wanted—because when you do, they absolutely deliver.

“Their food is divine! Their Dave's sauce is so delicious!! The seasoning on their fries, chefs kiss! The combination of the flavors are pure ecstasy in the mouth. I love that the original/no spice still has a lot of flavor.

This location is a bit small compared to other locations. The workers seemed to be a bit overwhelmed by the many orders coming in.

But I would 1000% recommend this place. Actually I should thank their Fallout promotion. I tried it for the first time in my life because I wanted a stimpak and I immediately fell in love.
