I normally go to the Pico Union one but this one has easier parking and more seating. They also have more selection but I've never gotten anything but the chicken. It was hot and fresh and as always addicting.“

“The food is pretty good, with a huge variety and different ways to dine in with chicken. I especially love their sauces, its to die for. I loved the service as well, I had a worker named Rory who brightened my day with small talk. I had a few items including their waffle, chicken sandwiches, and tteokbokki. The way they fry their chicken is so good. The skin is super crispy yet the chicken inside is still juicy. Also, this might be one of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. The waffles are crispy on the center and soo fluffy on the inside. They also give you whip cream and butter with it. It was delicious. If this was a breakfast spot, I would go back to order the waffles every day. I also like how much toppings are in their tteokbokki. The flavor was really good and wasn't too overly spicy which I enjoy. The chicken sandwich was a little hard to eat because it is HUGE but nonetheless, it was great. The chicken wasn't dry even though they were tenders. Overall, I really liked my meal there and found it really delicious.“

I had an amazing experience at this Juan Pollo! The food was absolutely delicious — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. The sides were fresh and flavorful, especially the potato salad, which has to be the BEST potato salad out there.

What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure everything was to my liking and served everything quickly with a smile.

The food here I have noticed has been a bit inconsistent compared to other locations. The fried chicken is sometimes too salty. Overall, not a huge deal but it is something I have noticed.

The guy manning the business in the mourning was personable and had great customer service skills. The burger had a lot of flavor great ratios of meat, cheese, onions, and bread wasn’t too bready. The fries are solid lightly seasoned. I personally like a little more but you can always add more but can’t take it off so I get it. I’m going to come back and try the chicken, can’t wait. “We were recommended to this place by some friends, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and were immediately greeted, asked if we knew what we wanted. We said we needed a coyote of minutes, but the gentleman said no problem, but answered some questions we had. We ordered the chicken skins, hush puppies and the #1 with light meat (breast and a wing with potato wedges and a roll). The hush puppies were so flavorful, no need for a dipping sauce. The chicken skins were huge and also very flavorful. I finally got to my chicken because it was so hot, I'm not sure because I had the other stuff, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful as the other stuff I had. The potato wedges were good, very hot as well. We will be back! Good value for what you get!“

“Great price for their combo meals.

We got 2 order of the combo wings. The combo comes with 1 medium size pizza, 12 wings, and 1 liter soda of choice.

You’re able to choose 2 sauces for the wings and we got mango habanero, lemon pepper, honey garlic, and something else. For the pizza, we got bulgogi and Hawaiian.

On top of that I ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup which was pretty good. However, there were only like 6 dumplings and lots of rice cake that couldn’t be finished. Towards the end of the soup, it started getting a bit saltier as well.

The price you pay for the amount of food you get is decent. Flavors are good as well. I think the only complaint is that they drench their chicken in sauce which isn’t my preference when eating Korean fried chicken.“

The #1 recommendation is have is the #1 Chicken sandwich (white or dark meat) it's by far the best chicken sandwich I've had. Easily blowing Raising Canes and all other chicken sandwich establishments out of the park. The balance between each ingredient was spot on and I could easily devour multiple of these in one sitting due to how good it is. 100% recommend this place.

Side note, for any people planning to eat here. Order ahead of time (sometimes it can take 30+ minutes) and avoid the wraps, go for the chicken on the bun instead. It's vastly superior because the wraps seem to be poorly constructed. The wraps seem to be overflowing with sauce which makes the wrap soft and weak so its, hard to hold let alone eat, without it breaking apart in your hands“

Hainan chicken is nice and definitely lighter meals to go for. Fried is solid but better chances when the owner makes them himself. The price point is very approachable and nice. However, I find this place inconsistent with portion and service time-to-time.

“Out of all the Lousiana's I've been to from Los Angeles, Carson, Compton, and now this one in Long Beach area, they have the best prices, for the items I always order (chkn wings/catfish fillets) and is fairly large in size. This is my 4th time here. Food, service, atmosphere is great, cleanliness is also a plus. This one uses the actual Hawaiian sweet bread rolls. They use fish fry for their fish as opposed to the same chicken batter like many of the other Lousiana's. THIS ONE also has a fish market where you buy and they fry as well.“

“You know, Korean style chicken has evolved over the past decades in Korea itself and the market’s saturated with many brands more popular than Pelicana, but Peicana was one of THE original brands known for their spicy seasoned chicken (yang nyum)

I have not tried any other Pelicana locations, and I have no particular comment for their regular fried chicken, but the spicy original seasoned chicken at this particular Artesia location is VERY good with generous sauce on the bottom of the box to dip in any portions that you want more of it on. My hubby says it tastes just like what he used to have back in the days (tho he is more of a Kyo chon consumer in Korea, but here in the States this is his favorite). So I would say (for those who like ‘em of course) just get the original spicy seasoned chicken and you won’t fail. Plus the lady who runs the place is very, very nice — three times we bought from her though she doesn’t seem to remember (-;“
