Menu without price. They increased price 200% from last year. 1 star service and 4 star price. Food is average. If you like Chettinadu food still has a problem they do not have Thalis anymore. Nice highway robbery. Parking is so small you can park a smart car in their parking lot.
Food quality below average. Customer service sucks. We were allotted a table near entrance and chairs were not clean. We requested change. Host created big issues though there were so many empty tables inside. Her behavior was totally unacceptable.
I would prefer any other South Indian restaurant over this.

Anjappar Chettinad Indian Restaurant is a go-to spot for those craving authentic South Indian Chettinad-style dishes. The restaurant offers a range of flavorful breads and curries, with standout choices including Malabar parotta and Chettinad-style curries like Goat masala and Chicken masala. The ambiance is decent, and the seating capacity is sufficient, although the service can be lacking during busy periods, with delays in basic items like hot water and napkins.
The menu features a variety of delectable options, such as Fried anchovies, Chicken tandoori, Goat biryani, and Goat pepper curry, which has been described as the "best curry ever had." Diners have praised the mysore dosa and onion uttapam, noting that the chutneys are fresh and the sambar is fantastic. The Nannari Sarbath, an unusual drink, is also recommended. The restaurant has ample parking and a great atmosphere, with excellent service overall, highlighted by friendly servers like Mohan and Vijay, who provide a personal touch to the dining experience.
However, some diners have mentioned that the idiyappam portions are small, despite being listed as six pieces on the menu. The Goat liver fry, although delicious, is not always available. For biryani enthusiasts, the biryanis at Anjappar may not meet expectations, with the plain biryani being a bit of a letdown compared to the flavorful Mutton biryani. Additionally, some guests find the menu confusing for newcomers, as it does not explain the details well.
Overall, Anjappar Chettinad Indian Restaurant offers a delightful taste of authentic South Indian cuisine, with most dishes hitting the mark in terms of flavor and quality. It is a recommended destination for those seeking a genuine South Indian dining experience.
